Stalin, Molotov, Tanner and Paasikivi were all laughing, at the end of the second negotiation Molotov told Finnish representatives that this will be solved with military,. Also Finland evacuated their industry from the area but once Soviets realized it they demanded it back. -Väinö Tanner - Olin Ulkoministerinä talvisodassa. Soviets also demanded from Germany that they should get Finland in November 1940 but Germany told them it's not theirs to give. Documents on Nazz-Soviet relations 1939-1941. Germany guaranteed Romanian borders earlier and sent troops through Finland to prevent Soviets from invading it. Germans also knew that Russians were bad at war already in WWI.

It is one of the most powerful piece of art ever made. It contains the sadness of the fate of Karelian people, but it also has some hope.
