This is a truly wonderful remix! Really brings out the beauty in this amazing song. Big props to the creator of this remix. As someone who produces trance music, I love this style, and especially the arps! Trance forever!
This is by far the best remix of Still Alive I've heard yet (not counting the one with JC on vocals), it is REALLY well done. And AFAIK, I've heard most of them. Kudos, Raddox, kudos.

1) I put an equalizer to boost the frequencies where the vocals are most dominant on the song. The original instruments can still be heard in the background, and actually helps alot to create a background texture. 2&3) The original song is at 120bpm. I raised it to 135bpm using Adobe Audigy.
Portal... you have led me through so much wether it was from agrivating puzzles to beutiful levels and storyline, you are a great game and your franchise should deserve to be in the top 10 video games in the world. Its a puzzle game AND you can enjoy it. GLaD OS your insane gurl :P

I have been collecting Still alive remixes since the game game out and this is still my favorite dance mix. All test subjects are required by Enrichment Center regulations to dance before any cake will be distributed through the Aperture Science Culinary Reward Apparatus Vent.
Simply used an eq to filter out the relevant frequencies. Can't remember whether or not I used some basic noise reduction based on a nonvocal-part in the original song too.
