  • My complete rebuild of a 1981 Honda CB750C tuned to insane levels by Jordan Engineering. It features OEM ignition control modules, K&N air filters, Mac 4 into 1 exhaust, race plugs and Yuhasa battery. Final Dyno reading had it pumping out 70hp and a max speed 140mph.

    Captain Kurt Jordan. Amazing Tunining.
    He can build and is a respected road race mechanic. He can build Yamaha TZ250s fast and all those Formula State Championship too!

    I thought these DOHC 750s were 78hp stock. that pipe sounds great though

      From my understanding, manufacturers artificially inflate the numbers by tuning certain aspects of the engine to inflate output for marketing purposes then reel it back for production. I've heard putting production '79-'82 CB750s (pre-tuned) up on the dyno is actually closer to 55hp stock. They also measure hp from the crank rather than rear wheel output which is a huge difference.

      Lol put the air box back on it and don’t worry about it. Only thing you can do to get past jets is maybe electrical tape around the pods and restrict all of the airflow

      I can't remember but I know the diameters are only slightly wider than the stock parts.

      Never give up jetting cv carbs. It ain't going to be easy. Only weak pansy asses give up early

    Wow, amazing sound. Since you have air pods, what size Jets are you running? Did you "fill up" your pods with washers or similar?

      Thanks! I can't recall the exact diameter, but if you find the OEM size, I remember it's only the next size larger that's offered. The air filters are straight out of the box K&N RC-0984

    Hello. Does this bike have the stock drive/wheel sprockets, which I believe is 18/48? Is the rear wheel a 16 inch, or is it an 18 inch? Thank you.

      Yes, they are stock and powder coated

    damn, I've been working on my 78 cb 400 hawk and it doesn't sound anything like that, but realistically it as half the amount of cylinders. You wouldn't happen to know of any good exhausts for my little hawk?

      Anything MAC makes is great, can't say for sure if they make them for your model or not.

      Thanks! The carbs are stock but the jets are aftermarket...only slightly wider diameters

    The 80 Supersport had 75hp stock.

      They advertised their hp ratings based on power made to the crank Wich is always more than what is made at the rear wheel.
