So Welt's not really special in the context of HSR because many characters in the game can travel between worlds. However, Alice being involved in deeper lore seems like a given.

Alice and Varkas are the two characters I hope are playable. Alice seems to be a complete maniac with a mysterious side, and Varkas from what we know of him is a complete Itto-style Himbo only with more than 3 neurons.

Headcanon: Considering everything that we know about Alice today, my guess about the main reason why she gave Klee to the Knights of Favonius instead of raising her herself like what a mother suppose to do its because of a possible fact that she is being hunted down by the Higher Gods of Celestia itself ( possibly the likes of the Sustainer ), not to mention the fact that she is friends with Gold of Khaenriah and she doesnt want Klee to be dragged into the mess she was involved with.
No.. Alice literally visits klee REGULAR in mondstadt.. multiple times this is confirmed.. Alice literally shows up and even takes klee for walks .. even laughs at jean and kaeya and diluc and barabara on golden apple for not being aware of that.. plus another event venti ran into “two mages out for a walk” aka Alice and klee and Alice gave venti the device to send us back to the golden apple with fischl xinyan and kazuha.. 😂 thus wut u sai can’t be true when Alice regularly is in mondstadt hanging out with klee.. NOTE.. Bro why is everyone so confused about the dragons on Earth part. Dinosaurs didn't exist in Teyvat, so there is like a 99% chance Alice was talking about dinosaurs when she was talking about "dragons" on Earth. And yeah, they are basically lizards + chickens.
I feel that if Alice shows up, it'll be in one of hyv's other games first, likely HSR, before coming to Genshin. Just like Welt in HSR is the same Welt from Honkai Impact 3rd, Alice in HSR will be the same character that will eventually appear in Genshin.
In the Honkai Impact manga Second Key, part 11 No matter the cost, there is a background character named Alice that appears in a few panels that is a blond female with red eyes and I always found that very suspicious. Not to mentioned that this character was part of MOTH,an organization fighting the Honkai that had projects about searching for other planets and other worlds.
Alice is very mysterious even for people who played previous Hoyoverse games, she has almost no similarities with any previous character even when there are many other multiverse traveling characters. So this can mean that she really is someone who originated from Teyvat and ascended from here to travel the multiverse. The only Honkai character that have any similarity at this point is Elysia, who's an elf and Elys sounds like Alice, but there's no similarity beyond this. There's no character named Alice, have the same VA or personality.
Assuming that Genshin and Star Rail are set in the same universe, I think it's possible that Alice is a member of the Intelligentsia Guild. They are a sort of academic institution that travels around the universe to seek and spread knowledge. They also compile said knowledge into books for publication, and their most successful publication is called the "Traveler's Guide". Coincidence, I think not!
Klee's new outfit is probably based on Alice's. I wonder what kind of mischief the two of them can get up to. They'd probably need redraw parts of the map afterwards.
for me, it makes more sense to Alice be an Ascender but i think she does/did so without Celestia permission, and she's now "hiding" from Celestia. That way, it's easier to explain why she doesn't personally visit Klee on a regular basis and why the twins were able to get to teyvat without ever meeting/interacting with her when they first descended to teyvat. And it would also explain why she's friends with rhinedottir and still talks about her in a friendly matter even after the cataclysm.
The problem with seeing Alice as an ascender and unique is that we're told that Tengu warriors can visit other worlds. While Sara is perhaps too young to be able to do it, and possibly Tengu Warriors can't do it any more due to mixed blood reducing their power - something that seems to afflict many types of youkai - traveling to other worlds is just a thing that some people could do in Inazuma. Traveler is mistaken for a Tengu Warrior on this basis.

I think certain races overall are able to traverse other worlds. Aside from Ei describing how Tengu can do interstellar travel, Cloud Retainer once mentioned how she has "traversed many realms" but Shenhe is the most fitting to be called her disciple

When you have non-canon contents in a serie, theses parts still follow the universe logic. What I mean is even if Aloy don't exist in the story, the explanations of her presence can totally be accurate and reliable
As you said, Alice can't be an Ascender as she isn't affected by Irminsul, meaning she is a Descender and this makes sense as the traveler's sibling isn't considered a Descender meaning Alice must be the 3rd Descender according to Fatui records. Of course we know Fatui records aren't reliable since they too are affected by Irminsul and surely they too would know about this.
I have a super outlandish theory, particularly from guesswork and actual lore bits: Alice might be a segment of the Heavenly Principles OR (a much more reasonable theory) Alice is a descendant of the Seelies. First theory is mainly just vibes. Alice actually scares the frick out of me by her sheer power that cannot just be because “she’s just that powerful”. There’s definitely something up with how powerful she seems to be. Second theory has a bit of merit. I don’t know much about fae creatures but I do often hear an association with elves and Seelie Courts. Also in the Flowr of Paradise Lost set, The Goddess of Flowers, a seelie (I think) who holds lots of power and knowledge and knows Forbidden Knowledge/ things that VERY few people would even know. The seelies were cast from the heavens to Teyvat, so they technically wouldn’t be affected by Irminsul? If Alice is a seelie or at least a descendant of one, maybe she still sees it as her duty to upkeep the boundaries or perhaps because she witnessed all these calamities from outlanders. I have a sneaking suspicion that Alice will not take kindly to either the Traveler (for being and outlander/potentially rival being) or Paimon (for likely being a smaller form of the Heavenly Principles like Nahida is to Ruk) I think it’s also worth noting Layla, who also has elf ears like Klee does but it’s never explained if she is of the same type of bloodline or what. Only kind of connection is her thing with stars, Niloupalta Lotuses and how the lotuses were born from the goddess of flowers. Other theory that Layla was found and adopted vs biological normal elf parents
Alice seemingly not being affected by irminsul honestly doesn't feel like a hole to me. Irminsul only works in teyvat, hence why descenders are not connected to it. They were outside of teyvat. If Alice left teyvat, her connection would be severed. If anything, it makes more sense to assume that when she left, irminsul's hold on her was released, rather than assuming that irminsul was able to reintegrate her in, but is for some reason unable to "latch" onto and affect descenders.

What if she IS the heavenly principles? The unknown god does have physical similarities to klee and it would explain both why the heavenly principles has been inactive recently and why we've never met Alice. Maybe she's been pulling the strings since long before Genshin even started. Maybe us being locked away, our sibling joining the abyss, and our journey since are all part of her plan to rebel against and destroy Celestia?

Well, Klee, with her long ears, looks a lot like Nahida. So maybe they are related? And she is a descendant of Rukkadevata or any previous avatar of Irminsul. And the parable of the tree (about a gardener in love with a spirit of a magic tree) is Alice's origin story?
From Sumeru's chapter we learned that the traveler's sibling isn't a descender because there are traces of them inside Irminsul. We also know that once they sided with the abyss, Irminsul stopped recording memories from their life in Teyvat. This means that it might be possible for Alice to ascend and to keep existing beyond the borders of the world. However, I believe there's a higher chance of her being a descender rather than an ascender. In fact, she's immortal and remembers what happened despite Irminsul's records being modified. She could have been granted her longevity by the gods like Dainsleif, but I don't think she would be capable of remembering what has been changed. If anything, Dainsleif would be the closest thing to an ascender instead of Alice, as he can manipulate the power of the abyss and was once a simple human being from Teyvat. I think that the only thing that could confirm your theory would be discovering that Dainsleif is immune to changes in Irminsul's memory as well.
I once theorized about the possibility of Istaroth being Alice, After all, we have seen once a divinity undercovered as a normal person like Rex Incognito, What if she's tainted with more curiosity about humans than her duty as a Heavenly principle, that will explain her sudden disappearing and her longevity, also, all that comfort traveling between worlds it's not normal for the history itself, it's super sus, She is an ascender definitively or a trascender?
For wanderer issue I think it can be easily explained by the fact she's outside of teyvat, if we go by being blanketed by "the outside" gives immunity to irminsul alteration similarly to how that one mushroom buried under abyssal stuff in the chasm remembers rukkhadevata. And this makes the reason Alice still being outside of teyvat important to hoyo, so that all creatures that has like taboos and stuff will be introduced by her, an unaffected person outside of teyvat.
I always believed Alice is a real-world person, possibly a programmer or Mr. Dai Wei himself, who inserted an instance of an object called Alice in the Tayvar world. That's why she can create/modify the Summer Islands and magic bottle at will and avoid the law of physics and nature in Tayvar in pretty much any way. Klee is simply an instance of character she created (because she can and it is cute), and I don't think people in Tayavr makes baby naturally. At least I have yet to see a baby or a pregnant woman in the game. 😂
@@LeaksHater Yeah they spell out the names of Ruka, Deshret and GoF. The reason its important is because Ruka's name is all but wiped out after Ruka got deleted. But somehow those seats in that grave are safe most likely due to Deshret using the nail to freeze the area in time.
I dont think Eloy is in the lore. Traveler didnt mention her to Nahida when talking of descenders. Also why does she have a vision? Arent outlanders supposed to not get one?
I want to believe that she is not only an ascender, but is the next closest being to ascending in the way that Venti first described. Venti states that those with visions are capable of ascending to archonhood/godhood, although we haven't seen it happen before. But she seems to be well on her way to becoming an archon, complete with her own domain to rule over, the Golden Apple Archipelago.
What if she is seen as both? Obviously only one is potentially right, but she might be seen as both. The Abyss Sibling (Aether if you chose Lumine/Lumine if you chosr Aether) appeared in Khaenriah and than Teyvat: seeing possibly where present Mondstatd or near it was in the cataclysm. What if a descender appeared where most of Teyvet never went, such as the Dark Sea or other *We Can't Go There area.. Irminsul only records what people have said/done. If she is an Ascender she was more than Mondstatd of her time or the Knights wanted to deal with/confront which for Alice may have included Varka; compare it to how Klee is treated- she damned up a river, and all they do is "put her in time out". If she gained a non-Teyvat view or habits/views by visiting other worlds few would consider her from Teyvat even if she were. Alternately, what if the registered Descenders and the "Ascenders" as you call them are just two parts of a larger picture, with more layers and essential pieces than we know. As Genshin both shows and suggests that as much as we are aware of more layers and details are still unknown in the lore (with several things seemingly fitting a suggested role before they reveal what in time it actually means).

As of now Alice is higly likely to be the sustainer of the heavenly principal. We are 5 nations in Teyvet and none of those character had ever mentiona about Teyvet's border meaning that, that border is what border other world and Alice alone is preventing the other inhabitan not of Teyvet's origin from descending unto Teyvet and possibly preventing them from starting another war for Celestia throne. Don't forget no matter how many realm there are in Teyvet, they are still call domain which belongs to Teyvet so those other realm can't border Teyvet when they are literally in Teyvet. Alice might not be an Elf because of her godly origin from another world and Klee might have inherit most of her father trait because her father is a native to Teyvet like how Caribert was still an inhabitant of Khaenri'ah and inherit the curse even though his mother is from Mondstadt. We also met the sustainer of the heavenly principal at the border of Teyvet preventing the sibling from leaving Teyvet through it's border. Alice hatred for the hilichurls probably stem from them being from the eclipse dynasty, the very same dynasty that minipulate her friend into helping them and the great sinner is probably the minupulator considering the fact that he is a man and Gold is a woman. Like Nahida said the sustainer of the heavenly principal is in her weaken state now after stopping the cataclysm and stopping the sibling from leaving Teyvet. Her hope was that they would help her but the other sibling decided to hold a grudge against her for seperating them and ally herself with the Abyss to kill the sustainer. The depower sustainer of the hevnaly principal was force to use the guise of an adventurer name Alice to govern her 7 nation which is why she had to travel through all the 7 nation and she eventially met Klee's father on her travel. Well this is my head canon any way or a fanfic if you could all it that.
I didn’t think we knew who the decenders were other then Traveler and Aloy. Nahida hypothesized that Heavenly Principles was the 1st. Traveler is 4th. Sibling is 0 Aloy would be 5th would she not cause she came after. Who’s 2nd and 3rd? Some people speculate that Zhonglie is one.
Lol what?? Primordial one was 1st, Second who came was 2nd, 3rd is unknown but most likely Alice, 4th is Traveler. Infact sibling wasn't even considered a descender as according to Irminsul they are native to Tevyat (So they don't count), we know this isn't true for obvious reasons, likely hinting at the sibling having tampered with Irminsul. Aloy isn't canon and Zhongli is affected by erosion which means he is native to Tevyat, pay more attention to the story next time.

The problem with seeing Alice as a descender (beyond the fact that Mona appears able to scry her) is that when she talks about other worlds she only talks about one world and that is some sort of Earth-like world, and most likely Earth itself. And Earth-like worlds do not have Elves. Therefore as an Elf, Alice cannot have been born on such an Earth-like world. Where do Elves come from? If they originated on another world the way humans did, then all the Elves would have to be descendants of a one time alien who came to Teyvat at some point in the distant past. But since Elves are so long lived and don't appear to have many kids, that event would have to be thousands of years ago to allow for apparently unrelated Elves like Alice, Layla, Pulcinella and Thunder Elves.
In their universe Earth may have elf like beings. And just because she only talks about one world doesn't mean she hasn't been to other worlds. Also Alice isn't native to Tevyat as she isn't affected by Irminsul.

What if Irminsul has no effect on you when you're outside Teyvat? Like even if Alice was native to Teyvat, if she was on another planet when Irminsul was altered, maybe the alteration had no effect on her.

Considering everything that we know about Alice today, my guess about the main reason why she gave Klee to the Knights of Favonius instead of raising her herself like what a mother suppose to do its because of a possible fact that she is being hunted down by the Higher Gods of Celestia itself ( possibly the likes of the Sustainer ), not to mention the fact that she is friends with Gold of Khaenriah and she doesnt want Klee to be dragged into the mess she was involved with.

In the Honkai Impact manga Second Key, part 11 No matter the cost, there is a background character named Alice that appears in a few panels that is a blond female with red eyes and I always found that very suspicious. Not to mentioned that this character was part of MOTH,an organization fighting the Honkai that had projects about searching for other planets and other worlds.
Alice is very mysterious even for people who played previous Hoyoverse games, she has almost no similarities with any previous character even when there are many other multiverse traveling characters. So this can mean that she really is someone who originated from Teyvat and ascended from here to travel the multiverse.
The only Honkai character that have any similarity at this point is Elysia, who's an elf and Elys sounds like Alice, but there's no similarity beyond this. There's no character named Alice, have the same VA or personality.
I'd say the personality matches. they're both upbeat, a little self absorbed, and like to push boundaries.

for me, it makes more sense to Alice be an Ascender but i think she does/did so without Celestia permission, and she's now "hiding" from Celestia. That way, it's easier to explain why she doesn't personally visit Klee on a regular basis and why the twins were able to get to teyvat without ever meeting/interacting with her when they first descended to teyvat. And it would also explain why she's friends with rhinedottir and still talks about her in a friendly matter even after the cataclysm.

The problem with seeing Alice as an ascender and unique is that we're told that Tengu warriors can visit other worlds. While Sara is perhaps too young to be able to do it, and possibly Tengu Warriors can't do it any more due to mixed blood reducing their power - something that seems to afflict many types of youkai - traveling to other worlds is just a thing that some people could do in Inazuma. Traveler is mistaken for a Tengu Warrior on this basis.

As you said, Alice can't be an Ascender as she isn't affected by Irminsul, meaning she is a Descender and this makes sense as the traveler's sibling isn't considered a Descender meaning Alice must be the 3rd Descender according to Fatui records.
Of course we know Fatui records aren't reliable since they too are affected by Irminsul and surely they too would know about this.
I have a super outlandish theory, particularly from guesswork and actual lore bits:
Alice might be a segment of the Heavenly Principles OR (a much more reasonable theory) Alice is a descendant of the Seelies.
First theory is mainly just vibes. Alice actually scares the frick out of me by her sheer power that cannot just be because “she’s just that powerful”. There’s definitely something up with how powerful she seems to be.
Second theory has a bit of merit. I don’t know much about fae creatures but I do often hear an association with elves and Seelie Courts. Also in the Flowr of Paradise Lost set, The Goddess of Flowers, a seelie (I think) who holds lots of power and knowledge and knows Forbidden Knowledge/ things that VERY few people would even know. The seelies were cast from the heavens to Teyvat, so they technically wouldn’t be affected by Irminsul?
If Alice is a seelie or at least a descendant of one, maybe she still sees it as her duty to upkeep the boundaries or perhaps because she witnessed all these calamities from outlanders.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Alice will not take kindly to either the Traveler (for being and outlander/potentially rival being) or Paimon (for likely being a smaller form of the Heavenly Principles like Nahida is to Ruk)
I think it’s also worth noting Layla, who also has elf ears like Klee does but it’s never explained if she is of the same type of bloodline or what. Only kind of connection is her thing with stars, Niloupalta Lotuses and how the lotuses were born from the goddess of flowers.

Alice seemingly not being affected by irminsul honestly doesn't feel like a hole to me. Irminsul only works in teyvat, hence why descenders are not connected to it. They were outside of teyvat.
If Alice left teyvat, her connection would be severed. If anything, it makes more sense to assume that when she left, irminsul's hold on her was released, rather than assuming that irminsul was able to reintegrate her in, but is for some reason unable to "latch" onto and affect descenders.

Alice seems to me to almost be akin to Jobu Tupaki, an outside viewer who can see across all the worlds all the time.
From Sumeru's chapter we learned that the traveler's sibling isn't a descender because there are traces of them inside Irminsul. We also know that once they sided with the abyss, Irminsul stopped recording memories from their life in Teyvat. This means that it might be possible for Alice to ascend and to keep existing beyond the borders of the world. However, I believe there's a higher chance of her being a descender rather than an ascender. In fact, she's immortal and remembers what happened despite Irminsul's records being modified. She could have been granted her longevity by the gods like Dainsleif, but I don't think she would be capable of remembering what has been changed. If anything, Dainsleif would be the closest thing to an ascender instead of Alice, as he can manipulate the power of the abyss and was once a simple human being from Teyvat.
I think that the only thing that could confirm your theory would be discovering that Dainsleif is immune to changes in Irminsul's memory as well.

For wanderer issue I think it can be easily explained by the fact she's outside of teyvat, if we go by being blanketed by "the outside" gives immunity to irminsul alteration similarly to how that one mushroom buried under abyssal stuff in the chasm remembers rukkhadevata. And this makes the reason Alice still being outside of teyvat important to hoyo, so that all creatures that has like taboos and stuff will be introduced by her, an unaffected person outside of teyvat.

I always believed Alice is a real-world person, possibly a programmer or Mr. Dai Wei himself, who inserted an instance of an object called Alice in the Tayvar world. That's why she can create/modify the Summer Islands and magic bottle at will and avoid the law of physics and nature in Tayvar in pretty much any way. Klee is simply an instance of character she created (because she can and it is cute), and I don't think people in Tayavr makes baby naturally. At least I have yet to see a baby or a pregnant woman in the game. 😂

Venti states that those with visions are capable of ascending to archonhood/godhood, although we haven't seen it happen before. What if she is seen as both? Obviously only one is potentially right, but she might be seen as both. The Abyss Sibling (Aether if you chose Lumine/Lumine if you chosr Aether) appeared in Khaenriah and than Teyvat: seeing possibly where present Mondstatd or near it was in the cataclysm. What if a descender appeared where most of Teyvet never went, such as the Dark Sea or other *We Can't Go There area.. Irminsul only records what people have said/done. If she is an Ascender she was more than Mondstatd of her time or the Knights wanted to deal with/confront which for Alice may have included Varka; compare it to how Klee is treated- she damned up a river, and all they do is "put her in time out". If she gained a non-Teyvat view or habits/views by visiting other worlds few would consider her from Teyvat even if she were. Alternately, what if the registered Descenders and the "Ascenders" as you call them are just two parts of a larger picture, with more layers and essential pieces than we know. As Genshin both shows and suggests that as much as we are aware of more layers and details are still unknown in the lore (with several things seemingly fitting a suggested role before they reveal what in time it actually means).

As of now Alice is higly likely to be the sustainer of the heavenly principal. We are 5 nations in Teyvet and none of those character had ever mentiona about Teyvet's border meaning that, that border is what border other world and Alice alone is preventing the other inhabitan not of Teyvet's origin from descending unto Teyvet and possibly preventing them from starting another war for Celestia throne. Don't forget no matter how many realm there are in Teyvet, they are still call domain which belongs to Teyvet so those other realm can't border Teyvet when they are literally in Teyvet. Alice might not be an Elf because of her godly origin from another world and Klee might have inherit most of her father trait because her father is a native to Teyvet like how Caribert was still an inhabitant of Khaenri'ah and inherit the curse even though his mother is from Mondstadt. We also met the sustainer of the heavenly principal at the border of Teyvet preventing the sibling from leaving Teyvet through it's border. Alice hatred for the hilichurls probably stem from them being from the eclipse dynasty, the very same dynasty that minipulate her friend into helping them and the great sinner is probably the minupulator considering the fact that he is a man and Gold is a woman. Like Nahida said the sustainer of the heavenly principal is in her weaken state now after stopping the cataclysm and stopping the sibling from leaving Teyvet. Her hope was that they would help her but the other sibling decided to hold a grudge against her for seperating them and ally herself with the Abyss to kill the sustainer. The depower sustainer of the hevnaly principal was force to use the guise of an adventurer name Alice to govern her 7 nation which is why she had to travel through all the 7 nation and she eventially met Klee's father on her travel. Well this is my head canon any way or a fanfic if you could all it that.
I didn’t think we knew who the decenders were other then Traveler and Aloy. Nahida hypothesized that Heavenly Principles was the 1st. Traveler is 4th. Sibling is 0 Aloy would be 5th would she not cause she came after.

The problem with seeing Alice as a descender (beyond the fact that Mona appears able to scry her) is that when she talks about other worlds she only talks about one world and that is some sort of Earth-like world, and most likely Earth itself. And Earth-like worlds do not have Elves. Therefore as an Elf, Alice cannot have been born on such an Earth-like world. Where do Elves come from? If they originated on another world the way humans did, then all the Elves would have to be descendants of a one time alien who came to Teyvat at some point in the distant past. But since Elves are so long lived and don't appear to have many kids, that event would have to be thousands of years ago to allow for apparently unrelated Elves like Alice, Layla, Pulcinella and Thunder Elves.
In their universe Earth may have elf like beings.
And just because she only talks about one world doesn't mean she hasn't been to other worlds.
Also Alice isn't native to Tevyat as she isn't affected by Irminsul.
