can change for sure but instead we have radically increased carbon this decade due to oligarchy....greed....death of democracy

root and mycelial systems distribute nutrients, allowing the trees in this study to be misleadingly resilient thanks to their neighbors in the "control group" ooutside the little enclosures.

This reminds me of the class A material for Ordo Templi Orientis and A.'.A.'. That speaks poetically about the green cord that encompasses the world. Nice...

Politicians are going to say we can do this together. And be all over the media. But they will move things so slowly and blame each other party. They will spend more effort at blaming each other. And other countries don't care.

How much did Covid help when things stopped for months?

It didn’t…I think ‘climate change’ got worse even with everyone staying inside.

It did help a lot by reducing emission gases and lowering noise pollution. The terrible thing was post covid those activities that contribute to warming exploded. The true solution is in population control. Since humans are unable to do that, we will need nature to do so. Maybe another deadly virus.

“Why don’t we solve the problem now?” is the question at the end of the video. In the US, the answer is simple: Republicans.

it's already too late. Even if we stop all man made carbon emissions today, the planet will still warm for 100s or 1000s of years. It's never to late to start, but the damage is already done. Avoiding the scenarios expressed in this video won't happen. These forest will dry out, and more carbon will be released making the problem worse.
The time to be an optimist about Global Warming was 20 years ago. Now is the time to sound the alarm and move cities away from the coast. Action now is to prevent natural disasters from killing people and not consider what warming will look like. It's already warming, and there is no stopping it especially when nothing is being done about emissions.
Making this a political issue is a point not worth making. Both sides aren't doing enough to even begin to put a dent in global warming. When people say I'm a liberal or conservative get off your high horse, you aren't doing anything. All political parties in the USA are evil and they run off of corporate greed.

@@cub1009 Both political parties do bad things and good things, but there are differences of degree. The Republican party is based on a whole slew of lies, like: there is no global warming, being gay is a lifestyle choice, god exists, Trump won the election. But the denial about global warming is extremely dangerous and will ultimately result in millions (if not billions) of people displaced and/or dead. The democrats are not doing anything bad on any level even close to that. You should think more deeply about things, rather just over-simplifying the situation with statements like "All political parties in the USA are evil and they run off of corporate greed." I would suggest you do some research into why things are the way they are, instead of being intellectually lazy.
