Gurukul were the most renowned in the olden days only kings sons right from Vedas Upanishad ect were taught along wit sword fighting horse riding of I have seen Mahabharata n Ramanyan must have seen ! It’s not like Madarasas all type of education r given n there r v tough exams to qualify in good Gurukil there r v good Gurukul in ISKON temples n mostly foreigners who have converted to Hinduism their children study even in most of South India good gurukul r there in UP Haryana but it was mostly dying the Rajas n maharajas time ! Even in US it’s there n mostly Sanskrit along wt other subjects r tgh ! 👍🇮🇳🙏
