Yeah, the handful of times I've just Lions Rampant and catapult jumped for a mile distance and had a Hunter main get like HUH in response is pretty choice

if you use burger callouts, make sure to say "order up" when oryx chooses his first ingredient. its proper customer service

So the burger callouts actually make a lot of sense. Absolutely loved the stream and its just as fun to watch the second time
From my understanding for the opening; since you can no longer fail or even lose progress, every time you fail to deposit the orbs due to time, it gives you another 30 seconds
The timer is actually 1:20, you can pick up the relic and if its timer is low then drop it and wait for it to expire. Then you can just pick it up when it spawns with max timer and you have way more time for everything.
@@coltonluciano6629 I’ve seen speedrunners grab orbs the instant they spawn and the timer is at 35, so idk what you’re talking about
@@AC_Hurdles Makes sense that speedrunners wouldn't do this because you have to sit there and wait. I have done this on every run and I get 1:15 every time so maybe try for yourself before you question it.
@@coltonluciano6629 yeah, the timer starts counting as soon as the relics appear, not when it appears on screen
Mr. Fruit here's a vid idea... its kinda like how the 15 min loot 1v1, but this time you run a raid then use that loot to do a rubble match with eveyone who raided. Just an idea, also keep up the good content! Love watching you play destiny!

I mean I agree Oryx spawns at the front, but it's so simple to just have L1 and R1 be the first plates next to you as you spawn into the encounter. Saying L1 and R1 doesnt have to equal saying Left Front and Right Front.

All I gotta say about the call-outs is that in Vow if you call the dunks at rhulk L1, 2, 3, starting from the closest, there’s no reason to change it for oryx, and that’s boss relative too lmao.
Same for Taniks nuclear descent in DSC as well.

saying l1 is near oryx makes no sense cause if its relative to oryx then you should flip left and right as well, l1 means the first plate on the left that you come to when you enter the room. If oryx joins the raid team then maybe we can switch them.

So this is why it took us 21 hours to beat the raid twice day 1. We didn't use burger callouts.

So quick suggestion for plate callouts. Lefto(Left Oryx) Righto (Right Oryx) leftd (Left Door) rightd (Right Door)
Let's put it this way: regardless of where you think Oryx is, the front plates are closest to the door. Just because a room is positioned one way, doesn't mean that things in the room are positioned the same relative to each other. Just think about the Oracle callouts. If you believe that Atheon is at the front of the room, why call the oracles closest to the entrance the "front" oracles? Well, because they are, from our point of view, "in front of" the ones near the glass throne. Same goes with the plates in Oryx's room.
When you enter a theater to see a show, and the band is on stage, would you consider the front row seats the back?
@@coltonluciano6629 no I wouldn't. I would consider the stage to be at the back of the room relative to the entrance, but I would consider the row closest to the stage to be the front row. That's what the whole point of my comment was.
Let's add another step to this analogy. Let's say that this is a small theater (theater here as in where they put on a play) and so there is no pit for the instruments, but instead there is enough space behind (behind as in, they're obscured by the actors and set pieces) the set to accomodate the band, so that's where they set up to do the music for the show. Well, if you would consider the stage to be at the front of the room, is the band at the very front of the room? Or is the band back behind the set? The problem is that "front" and "back" are both relative and subjective and that it's not as cut and dry as people think it is.
@@trickytreyperfected1482 Its pure insanity that people are even having this argument when you can just name each plate L1 L2 R1 R2, or 1234 or ABCD, or literally whatever you want and be done with it. Not to mention that nobody will ever be right here unless bungie confirms one or the other.
@@coltonluciano6629 I agree with L1, R1, L2, R2 (the 1s are closest to the door because we've been doing it that way since Deep Stone and honestly probably before that... based on the layout of Dualshock 4 controllers, where the bumpers are 1 and the triggers are 2). Usually whenever I make the argument, I end it with "make it to where the plates don't require a 'front back' callout necessary".
@@trickytreyperfected1482 the less spacial thought the better. Landmarks and numbering is a way better way to go, but we all know that one guy who wanders around and loses his position in the room only to run to the wrong plate because they’re trying not to stand out as not knowing what they’re doing.

In the first encounter, the reason why the timer seems inconsistent is because the timer never stops. It just only shows when both orbs are picked up. Hope this helps anyone that was confused!
This makes so much more sense! I thought it was either timing or opening the doors improperly made the time go down a significant amount. I guess it does make sense that after like 30 seconds pass, we would have 30-45 seconds left to dunk the orbs!
I feel like thats not the case though. I once camped the orbs and the timer was still short.
@@sauceinmyface9302 It never stops and continuously loops. You just picked it up near the end of the looping timer.
That's not true though. It's if you fail that the timer goes up. As far as I've seen it go, it reaches 1:30 at most. From the absolute fastest pickup to the slowest, the timer is always, the first time, 30 seconds.

me and my friend joined our new friends from another country and we had to wait for one of them to finish the ship jumping puzzle for over 45min, we had sooo much fun sniping/shooting at him while cracking jokes. that was the best raid I have ever had!

The opening encounter timer is actually going the whole time whether it displays or not. It starts at like 1 min 50 when you see "A relic appears", for the final relic we found it useful to just take the extra minute to let it reset to get a fresh one instead of doing 2-3 reps where it would time out or deaths would happen because we were zooming
This raid attempt is drastically different than their Day 1 raid. The happy BG music shows it lol.

Actually managed to get an Applebee's ad during a Mr Fruit video. A sign greatness is to come.
Mr. Fruit, the timing for the orb encounter starts when the orb spawns. So if you pick up the orb right when it spawns, you will get the full time, but if you wait to pick it up, that is how it goes down to 30 seconds or so
it was all going swimmingly..... *until it came to the great Oryx boss room callout dilemma* sneaking into the banter. Never have I ever seen such a clustertruck of stupidity when it comes to how to call out things in Oryx's boss room & I'm afraid to voice my own opinions lest I start a blood war in the comments (if there's not one already).

If that is your argument then you cannot say front left right or back. Its bow port starboard and stern (or aft)
