It's a world class city, and major port, so it's naturally going to be a place where foreigners come to first. NYC would not be as unique as it is, without foreigners.

I can FEEL this cold. I went to NYC the week of NYE about 7 years ago and OMG it was sooooooo cooooold. When you're walking the wind really cuts right through you. And it was so packed everywhere that there was no where to get warm! That being said, I loved my time there and can't wait to go back one day, hopefully during a warmer time!

It really is absolutely fascinating to me, just like europe is to americans, I as a german am fascinated by this, wow.
This is a fun video to watch. It almost feels like live surreal performance art. Kind of reminds me of those early 20th century paintings of Paris at night in the rain with the blues and subtle yellow-oranges. I think it would be cool to walk this route with an awesome pair of noise cancelling headphones with great music.

Another great video my friend. There's something about New York in the winter and/or when it's raining that just makes it feel well, really New York. The one thing though I'm disappointed about is when you go past a lot of these department stores and you see their windows with the upcoming Christmas season ahead. They're not very Christmassy. What a disappointment. What's wrong with these stores? No wonder department stores are struggling. Note to all department store window display departments. We want to see Christmas!
