What a fascinating interview! I dug The Lesser Dead and this made me even more excited to get into more of Christopher's stuff. I didn't realize there was another vampire novel (and a Lesser Dead audio drama? Cool!). I'm also a fantasy fan, too, although I don't read as much of it as I do horror so looking forward to the Blacktongue books, too.
Recent reading: Just finished Horror Movie by Tremblay, Small Town Horror by Malfi, and Evenson's None of You Shall Be Spared. Currently tackling The Marigold by Andrew F. Sullivan while looking forward to the highly recommended Incidents Around the House by Malerman.

Excellent interview. Mike have you read Fritz Leiber’s Fafhrd and Gray Mouser series of 7 books. I got The Three of Swords which collected books 1-3 from the library and immensely enjoyed them I meant to get the others from the library but haven’t yet. I know you don’t read much fantasy but you should read them. I really want to read Christopher’s books soon.

Hey Mike another great show. I usually don't read that much fantasy, but now I really want to pick Christopher's books. Also his vampire books. Also speaking of vampires I just finished s good read : The Nosferatu Conspiracy: Book !: The Sleepwalker by Brian James Gage It takes place in Russia during WW I and the revolution, it has The Romanovs ,Rasputin and vampires. What more can you ask for ?

Christopher's fantasy books are even horror books of a type, I think you would enjoy them.
