Shooting in the rain is the most underrated form of photograhy. People will get really concerned about their gear which I don't blame them. But the atmosphere of rain gives off a photogenic vibe.
I appreciate the video. Just bought an XPan for cinematic night shots as well. I will consider a flamethrower if I shoot during the rainy season in Bangkok. Cheers!
Hey Teemu, congrats on the Japan XPan 😉 I forgot how bad the rain is in Asia, thanks for reminding of the crazy cockroaches. Looking for to more XPan videos.
@@DarrylCarey A long time ago before I even owned a camera I was in Taiwan during a typhoon, but I didn't even leave the house that time. In Bangkok these just come out of nowhere and last an hour or two at most.
There's generally not that much you can do when editing film scans, I only do minimal editing like cropping, slight color correction or exposure changes. But it's nothing like digital.
Lmao the cockroaches story was a disgusting but kinda funny turn, the photos turned out amazing tho! Definitely inspired me to take advantage of the storms we've been getting in mexico city
@@teemu.mp4 bro....no...i m not your brother first... than, do you know you don t have an hasselhlad but a fuji? The fake copy? So..next time read and inform yourself .
It's not a fake copy lol its a collaboration between hasselblad and fuji eg literally officially the same camera but in a slightly different skin but commonly referred as the same thing. I was being sarcastic. I thought you knew this but guess not. Bro 💔
More Xpan photography on my next vlog: th-cam.com/video/nVXcLBTGzGs/w-d-xo.html

This is so inspiring the results are amazing!
Hi Teemus, how do you rate the rico gr iii in terms of iq with your other photography gear? thank you
Hey Teemu, congrats on the Japan XPan 😉 I forgot how bad the rain is in Asia, thanks for reminding of the crazy cockroaches. Looking for to more XPan videos.
More to come! I've spent a lot of time in Asia but only have had this problem in Thailand, doesn't get quite as bad elsewhere 😂 🤮
@@teemu.mp4 Had a few crazy storms in Taiwan while I was working there, but not sure I have ever been in a rain storm like this one in your video.

Love ya vids ❤
cool video, this camera is awesome! BTW wanted to ask, if you push film 2 stops, does it means that you expose shots like iso 1600?
Yes exactly
Great video and kudos for the shots (came here from reddit). Quick Q. Did you use a tripod? or just high iso pushed with hand held shutterspeeds?
No tripod, it'd be really challenging in those conditions anyway, handheld at 1600 iso. Should have pushed 1 more stop I think.
DAMN, I love the selfie!
haha cheers
I would love it if Hasselblad and Fuji made some more of these - seeing the recent boost of attention and the aftermarket for these cameras!
Yes, but it's still such a niche interest I doubt it'd be worth it for them at scale
@@teemu.mp4 I mean Hasselblad do hand-make all their cameras and don’t mass produce, so it could at some point be of interest, maybe?
In an ideal world yes!
Great video! How did you keep your camera equipment dry btw?
Well I held it really close to the top of the umbrella most of the time, was still risky tho.
Congrats to the great experience and your new Film camera :) great shots too. Good you wear wearing a white tshirt to spot the bugs easier xD
Haha yeah good point about the white shirt
I love XPan too anyway What kind of camera did you use for the video?
Osmo pocket
Do you have to edit the digital scans much to achieve this look? I've never used film or scans etc.
There's generally not that much you can do when editing film scans, I only do minimal editing like cropping, slight color correction or exposure changes. But it's nothing like digital.
Bruh, you are insane. +new sub!
Thanks very much
Haha... I hate roaches 🪳..... But I also just picked up a TX1. can’t wait to post some pictures. great video 🤙🏼
I'm sure you'll love it and hope your first shoot is cockroach free
Lmao the cockroaches story was a disgusting but kinda funny turn, the photos turned out amazing tho! Definitely inspired me to take advantage of the storms we've been getting in mexico city
Go for it! The harder it rains the better it is, for photos anyway.
Where did you get the music from?
I use soundstripe
Man..nice video, but u MUST write "street with fujifilm" .. not X PAN.. the ratio is the same, but the camera it s not ;) click bait and thats it
U got scammed bro and you'll never get your time back
