Great video, my friend! I've got a catfish tourney coming up in a couple weeks and, I'm camping. I'm gonna do the fish patty idea a little differently, with some catfish. Catch cook camp. Man, I'm stoked!!!

I have a similar recipe. I use green onion, cilantro, ginger, garlic, chilli, eggs and bread crumbs. Mix everything and then form the patties or cake then fry. Of course salt too
I caught that slip up when you said "salt paper". I hate it when I accidentally use Salt Paper instead of the usual salt and pepper man. Always a bummer. 😂
On a more series note, I had no idea Peamouth looked like a Whitefish, nor that it's a Chub! I'm used to chub being tiny little fish species.
It turns out the Washington State record Peamouth is 1 pound 12 ounces. So something tells me they may not be much of a species people want to catch, nor care enough about to measure and weigh.

We call that a split tail fish in California
That’s first fish you caught, in Cali we call it split tail

Samong, next time cut off the tails, don’t not gut the fish and use a rolling pin, or a glass bottle and roll the body from the head to the tail and the BONELESS meat will squirt out of the opening made by cutting off the tail!

For cat fishing, I hear the mouth of the Walla Walla is the juice. Not much camping in that area though.
