Watched this last night at the London Palladium with my wife and two kids and it was absolutely amazing , first class performances all round and the set design and music were top class !!! Standing ovation at the end for cast and crew.
Watched this at Bristol last night. Absolutely amazing! Best theatre play I have ever been too. Amazing singing, dancing and acting. They really got the characters to perfection!

This show was amazing. My mother took me to see it last month in Dublin as my Christmas present as she knew that I love Beauty and the Beast and we both had a great time. The actors were fantastic, sets and costumes were gorgeous with brilliant effects.
Seeing this in the theatre was awesome. I do love musicals and have seen a few these past few years, but the professionalism, the lights, costumes, make up, dancing and scenery were the best I have ever seen . Every person on that stage gave their all and I loved each one.

Saw this yesterday and it was amazing! Lumiere was hilarious and the cast came out afterwards for autographs (even though it was the matinee)! So surprised it’s only on for a short while 😢

Ive been to the theatre and loved it
I see everyone complaining about the cast, but nobody about how little live music there is in this tour. Most of the music is played through a MacBook, running a virtual orchestra. The original had 26 musicians. This has 10, and with the prices it has, they could certainly afford more. The new musical arrangements are not a patch on the originals.
I'm so sad I can't see this (I'm American) I love the little details and this looks phenomenal!

Musical got a total upgrade.
The dress is 1000x better than what was in the movie. I was nervous to hear that they were going for revival of this musical because the original was hard to beat by design, but this looks extremely beautiful. I hope it makes its way to broadway soon.

The musical has premiered on Broadway in 1994 and closed on 2007. This is a revival.

I am so with you and so many people. Def a top musical everyone wants back, sorry but it can replace The Lion King for me. But I do want to see Beauty and the Beast at Lunt-Font where it was but Tina Turner is there and want them to have a long run. Palace is still under refurbishment.

There is a lot of "Agenda 2030" in Walt Disney in recent times ... and even in this show, owned by Walt Disney, you can breathe and notice changes quite close to the follies of the World Economic Forum and its gimmicks. So, although the actors are excellent, we suffer visual bullying far from the original story. I prefer the shows outside the Walt Disney name by now, sadly.
p.s. people behind us without tickets, found by security, but let them watch the show anyway, who talked all the time. So stupid us, paying 600 pounds for 3 seats.
p.p.s. there are no baskets to throw away the ice cream papers etc .. in the whole theater .. so you can see trash can everywhere.
Finally someone who sees the same thing and speaks out the truth. This is an insult to all the classic Disney fans who loved the original Broadway version. Neither Belle or Beast were coloured. Don't need to say more. That says it all. Don't fix what is not broken as we say in my country. Hope the Broadway revival doesn't get any worse than this.

@@boydenhingston-muir3907 the actress who plays belle is black, possibly mixed race (i couldn’t tell to be honest) when the original character is white. I’ve seen over 30 plays/musicals/pantomimes and her voice is definitely one of the best I’ve heard. So don’t let the casting put you off. Also some of the best production design/sets I’ve seen.

@@dan9700 For the sake of the woke few. They should write new roles for people of colour, not change things just to virtue signal. The standard of talent used to be so high for musical theatre. Now it’s “give the role to whoever makes us look good in the eyes of the woke brigade”. It so transparent.
@@dan9700 100%. The Lion King has lots of excellent performers. Dreamgirls is another musical with lots of great talent. Many other productions too. These woke producers really should creative new productions and new roles for people of colour. Practically every production now has a person of colour playing traditional white roles. It’s like all the producers are jumping on the “we must have a person of colour as our lead from now on in our productions.” It’s so transparent and pathetic. The only reason they’re doing it is to jump on the woke bandwagon. If they truly thought it was the right thing to do they would’ve done it years ago. Andrew Lloyd Webber‘s Cinderella is another example. I’ve seen that production twice, no offence to the performer who plays the lead Prince but the understudy was far more talented but of course the lead got the role because he was a person of colour. As for the virtue signalling white performers who have been screaming for yrs for blind casting and diversity, they are laughable because they have truly shots themselves in the foot. Basically turkeys voting for Christmas. Part of me thinks (serves them right).
