God this is the smarmiest, most self-aware show I've ever seen. Ain't we adorable? Ain't we?
How can anyone love Gilmore Girls and hate Lorelai? I mean, I get Dean hate, or Jess hate, or Logan hate, or April hate, or Taylor or Kirk or Paris or Jason hate, some I agree with, some I don't...but the whole point of Gilmore Girls is Lorelai! I am agog and aghast and I have no words. (Somehow "buttfaced miscreant" doesn't work here.)
That being said, the reason I wanted to comment was that my whole life, I thought I had been landed with the coolest mom in the world, but then I started watching Gilmore Girls and suddenly my mom looked a lot more ordinary.
Most I know argue that she's too immature and selfish. I defend that tho she's immature she's a responsible adult,great mom. She built her life alone truly inspiring

Yep. Lauren Graham has a fine voice. She sings in at least one more episode(I Will Always Love You, original Dolly Parton version) after she and Luke were dating. she has also performed on Broadway(Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls).
