    Hi Andrea, is there a particular pattern/sequence you need to follow on singing bowls? I only have 3 crystal bowls, was wondering what pattern I can create? Can you do any pattern you like? Thank you for your help!

    • @AndreaCortez
      @AndreaCortez  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Playing the bowls can be done in harmony, finding the 5th and 4th intervals and landing back to the home note (the note your scale is based on) I do teach private classes on the basics of playing too, thank you! 🙏

    Great video! Can you share the tuning of the bowls you are using? The deep bowl has an amazing sound!

    • @AndreaCortez
      @AndreaCortez  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I believe my two lowest bowls are an A flat and E flat approximately....these types of bowls can be hard to have exact pitch because of the way they are made. You just want to make sure your bowl's overtones are harmonious within each bowl. But really most of the bowls at that larger size around 10" will have a beautiful deep tone, if you get them from a good place like ISingingBowls.com

    I love your each and every videos. So calming. I wanted to ask can you only use singing bowl once a day. I read that more then once vibration can be harming and if someone has foreign objects in their body through surgeries, they shouldn’t take this classes. Thank you!

    • @AndreaCortez
      @AndreaCortez  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can use singing bowls more than once a day. You just have to make sure they are sounding harmonic, and not dissonant, that is important because the sound can dysregulate the nervous system if there is too much dissonance. Not all sounds are healing. And the right mallets should be used. The bowls should be fine with objects in the body, I would not place the bowl on that part of the body in that case. Where did you read this? Also it is best that the bowls are played gently and not too loud. 🙏🏽 thank you 🌷

      @MsDurga123 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m not sure where I read it (it was awhile ago) but it also said that if you have surgical objects in your body the vibration could shift the foreign objects. Thank you for responding

    Do these sound louder bc you have a microphone? I’m debating on buying metal bowls in addition to my crystal but it’s a huge investment

    • @AndreaCortez
      @AndreaCortez  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The Tibetan bowls have a softer sound than the crystal bowls when you are playing without a microphone in person. If you play the Tibetan bowls for example for a large group of more than 20 people in person and in a larger room, the bowls will be harder to hear than crystal bowls. But the Tibetan bowls do record well for video and audio.

      So would you add a mic if playing for larger room and also do you recommend Chakra tuned?

    • @AndreaCortez
      @AndreaCortez  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@johannabernardy5923 Yes amplify with mic in larger room. I don't recommend buying based on chakras but rather on harmony.
