@@Omega-jg4oq well In dmc4 if you tried to switch to a style that was already active thats how it would switch to darkslayer, but I get that dmc5 probably isnt flexible enough to add that

Afaik if you don’t get staggered by enemy attack style metre does not drop in dmc5
