I keep the lid closed because the room the piano is in is quite bright sounding, also the reason for the blanket. Gonna try and adjust the space with some soft surfaces and see what I can do. The mics inside are some nice Earthworks mics that are able to handle the closed environment and still sound good, I like them a lot. Cheers!
