The flaws in your strategy and thinking is what makes the game fun. When the nowhere near perfect strategies still get you a win is when ur really enjoying the game
Honestly, you are completely correct. It's more fun when you come up with your own way to solve a problem in a game even if it's flawed, watching a tutorial just seems like following orders, and not actually playing.
@@cowCuddler is enemy territory still played? its one of those shooters i installed once every few years and had fun for a few weeks/month with it until i found something else to play but at some point the server browser was full of servers with bots and you could barely find actual players... increadibly fun concept good maps and a lot of community content made it really awesome

I wonder why they removed csgo, like 30% of the player base played on laptops that ran csgo on 60 fps at low graphics so it’s just a bit confusing why they said “it’s an update to CS:GO” or a remaster or something along the lines of that and deleted csgo entirely.
I played with 16-18 y/o’s when I was like 13 and now I’m 17 and they have all graduated and gotten jobs and gf’s and I’m the only one that plays anymore 😢 Best times oml

Couldn't relate more. Back in 2014 I was silver 3 trying to get good, getting mocked by my friends, after a year or two they all stopped playing cs and moved to another game, five years later and a lot of hours put in the game I was playing semi pro and completely alone
I feel emptiness when I reach the top of a game. It's so depressing it's like the game has lost meaning but really I have lost meaning for the game. Since there's nothing more enjoyable than being top 1.
This is why I stopped playing CSGO. I won 80% of all matches and didn't feel anything, but every loss dragged down my mental health, so I eventually had to switch to different games to get myself into a position where I'm not the best but actually have to learn something new. It does help although I eventually lost my Competitive mindset in order to go back to a more casual one. I think the guys you play with have a big impact on your mind as well.

Exactly, and that's what's ruining the game for people who don't want to tryhard and just want to play for fun and have a great time. I still remember when I started playing cs:go, I had been playing cs 1.6 for years at the time and was really good at it, so when I switched to the infinitely more easier cs:go, I dominated pretty much every single game without breaking a sweat, took me 25 comp wins to get to supreme and I wasn't even trying hard, I didn't know smokes, flashes, molotov's or callouts, I was just playing to have a good time and it was so much fun. Nowadays however, anything over gold nova I don't want to play and I derank myself to stay in the fun zone because the skill ceiling has risen so much these last years that higher ranks are full of tryhards who are extremely toxic and it's just not fun to play anymore. People take this game way too seriously and forgot that the main reason we play videogames is to have a good time, no one cares what rank you are and what your k/d, that's not what gaming is about, and the people who take things too seriously are doing nothing but ruining the experience for everyone.
In my opinion the 2014 csgo with the old animations etc played so different compared to 2022 csgo... I don't know. Maybe i am wrong. But 2014-2017 or maybe let's say 2018 was the best cs years..... Maybe just for me dont know..

I disagree, i think what really ruined modern FPS games is the competitive cene, everything today is so competitive, there's no casual experience, most games have sbmm on the normal matchmaking, which is basically ranked but in normal matchmaking, most social features are long gone, that's why its not a big surprise to me that tf2 still alive today even after all those years, since it's basically the opposite of everything i said

i remember in the early 2016 when i started playing CSGO. I wasn't even 10 then. I enjoyed every second of my life playing that game and i wanted cool skins as presents for christmas and birthday but my parents didn't like it so i asked for prime and i got it. So the only skins i got was some cheap old skins that doesn't even sell anymore. And then when i got bored cus of the sweaters in 2020 i left. After 1 and a half years later i joined again and everything was different. Better graphics. More skins. More expensive skins/knives and new sweaters. But I still played. And today i have many skins and i go around and trade them often. But it was good old times back then.
Not level related, communicating is what makes this game great. When I find matches on low level, which I am qualified for, I have fun communicating and only frustration when ppl pretend they don't hear me.

I just came back after years away, it sent me down to silver again and it’s a lot of fun climbing, with the boys or alone. It’s about familiarity I think - there are other games I’m worn out on. Vary it up.

i just got the biggest nostalgia wave seeing old inferno, man i used to love this game, i'd come home from school and play all day, i didn't have a worry in the world back then. I haven't thought about this game in a long time, but now that it's gone and it's just cs2 It's quite sad

Exactly, and that's what's ruining the game for people who don't want to tryhard and just want to play for fun and have a great time.
I still remember when I started playing cs:go, I had been playing cs 1.6 for years at the time and was really good at it, so when I switched to the infinitely more easier cs:go, I dominated pretty much every single game without breaking a sweat, took me 25 comp wins to get to supreme and I wasn't even trying hard, I didn't know smokes, flashes, molotov's or callouts, I was just playing to have a good time and it was so much fun.
Nowadays however, anything over gold nova I don't want to play and I derank myself to stay in the fun zone because the skill ceiling has risen so much these last years that higher ranks are full of tryhards who are extremely toxic and it's just not fun to play anymore.
People take this game way too seriously and forgot that the main reason we play videogames is to have a good time, no one cares what rank you are and what your k/d, that's not what gaming is about, and the people who take things too seriously are doing nothing but ruining the experience for everyone.

I disagree, i think what really ruined modern FPS games is the competitive cene, everything today is so competitive, there's no casual experience, most games have sbmm on the normal matchmaking, which is basically ranked but in normal matchmaking, most social features are long gone, that's why its not a big surprise to me that tf2 still alive today even after all those years, since it's basically the opposite of everything i said

i remember in the early 2016 when i started playing CSGO. I wasn't even 10 then. I enjoyed every second of my life playing that game and i wanted cool skins as presents for christmas and birthday but my parents didn't like it so i asked for prime and i got it. So the only skins i got was some cheap old skins that doesn't even sell anymore. And then when i got bored cus of the sweaters in 2020 i left. After 1 and a half years later i joined again and everything was different. Better graphics. More skins. More expensive skins/knives and new sweaters. But I still played. And today i have many skins and i go around and trade them often. But it was good old times back then.
Personally have more fun playing in Global than lower levels because teammates for the most part communicate and know what to do.

Not level related, communicating is what makes this game great.
When I find matches on low level, which I am qualified for, I have fun communicating and only frustration when ppl pretend they don't hear me.
