As someone who used to be severely oppressed, ( because I spoke to spirits) I can tell you with 100% boldness that the closer you are to Christ, the further you are from the darkness. I had to really submit myself to God and declare, " I belong to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He bought me with his blood, so you have absolutely no chains on me!" Praying, reading scriptures, and fasting drew me closer to Him. It took several months to understand and get to that point, but God was there every single step of the way!🙏🏻🙌🏻 Glory to God!
Unfortunately, that's a huge doorway for the spirits. Those familiar spirits Start manifesting as a deceased loved one especially if the grief is fresh. When my spouse passed I had demons coming to me as him in my dreams. Once they can get you to start interacting with them it gives them more permission to be there. Keep fighting the good fight my friends ❤

I was attacked by an entity when I lay in bed one evening. I wasn't a Christian and didnt know how to pray. All I could remember was the first couple of sentences of the Lords Prayer and I couldn't even say them as I was so terrified. It didnt matter that I couldn't speak as He saved me regardless 😊😊❤ Just thinking of seeking help was enough . That was 30 years ago and I'm so grateful to God for allowing me to realise that He actually really exists, and He comes to our aid when we need him

Iv been attacked by something at night few nights a week for like 20 months. All ways between 1am and 3 am At times it in fact wakes me up out of a dead sleep. This has helped a lot, thank you It actually started when i was detoxing at home alone off 10 years of opiate addiction and I was praying for the first time in my life for the strength to get through this. Been clean ever since.
Call out the name of Jesus and the demons, sleep paralysis will stop. The closer you get to Him, the less the dark can hurt you. Until they just can't. They wanted your soul and you got away. I pray you stay on the path. He l l is real. It's all real. Jesus is Lord.

I repented and came out of the homosexual lifestyle. After I gave my life to God, I was bullied and sexually harassed by demons for months as well. I was like I'll never go back to the darkness. They messed up by being so apparent and bold.
It’s important to not leave a footholds or a door open for the devil and the demons So we should always be careful with what consume, think, do and everything with healing and deliverance some are instant, some are process but God still gets the glory and He already Won the Victory 😊❤
Thank you Sean and Steve! This reminded me of a supernatural battle when I was first saved five years ago. I had a demon speak into my head while doing devotions one morning and I was so green I didn't know to say in the name of Jesus leave me alone, I held my head instead and said stop , stop leave me alone which of course did nothing. The Lord gave me visions for the next two weeks letting me know I was in a spiritual battle and fortunately I had some great small group ladies instructing me how to deal with this properly. The Lord brought me through! Spiritual battle is real , that is why Paul instructs us about the full armor of God. I also want to say that If we are not praying for our candidates running for election and for the people already in our government we really need to get with it. Last night I was praying this way and I thought I was going to pass out , there is a great battle going on in the heavenly realm over our country and we need to pray as never before. I work in a psychiatric hospital, l haven’t seen so many demonic manifestations as l have at this place, it’s sad! I’ve never felt fear thankfully, because I know who my savior is… Jesus❤
I was a psych patient 2020 the the entire summer. I was locked in a hallway for 40 days, let out, went back in another 40 days. At the time I felt like everyone else had demons and maybe some of them did.. but so did I. I didn't realize how bad it was until I asked God to help me and all the creepy stuff stopped. It is hard to explain to someone who has never gone through it.. but being demonically fallen felt like reality itself was altered around me. It was very interesting and something about it was intoxicating/ it made my judgement extremely poor while at the same time making me feel like I had super powers. It's funny how the truth is the opposite. If God didn't exist ALL OF US would be loaded with those nuggets.
That thumbnail took me back to my teens. A gargoyle-looking demon about 2.5 feet tall used to wake me up at 3:43am and sometimes sat up on the wall like that. The demon was so dark I could see it in a pitch-black room. Sometimes it would push me down into the bed, sometimes it was just there. Never happened until I seriously searched for the real walk with Jesus. Once I was on it, it left me alone. The visits would only end with prayer. 40 years ago and I can still remember the feeling that would come over that room, very foul.
Exact same happend to me. It stops INSTANTLY with me calling his name JESUS. It was demanding I open my eyes and look at it. I could feel it's breath on my face. It was covering my mouth with its hands. 😢

I’ve never for one moment doubted that demons are real. As a child, my Mom and her friend had an experience with a “ghost”. And my grandmother’s house had death sounds which I also experienced. I shared with the pastor of our church at the time that I sensed a demonic stronghold in a grove of trees across from my parents home. He said that others had said that when they came back to the church to give a program, that they could sense a difference when they crossed the the bridge just before my Grandma’s house. Which makes sense because my cousin that owned the property was an evil man. My husband shared with me recently that when Mom would ask him to outside after dark to dump table scraps that he got such an eerie feeling and would hurry to get back inside. And my son hated being outside there after dark. I was never scared because I guess I grew up there and felt as a Christian I had the protection of the blood of Jesus. He was talking about his ten year old daughter. I think more times than people realize, when kids say there is something scary in their room, under the bed, that kind of thing, that it is demonic and not just their imagination. Not all the time, but many times. Satan doesn’t play fair. Thank you Sean for this video. I’ve ordered the book.
The night time visits are happening to me as well. This thing closed my mouth when I tried to cry out to Jesus. (I had mouth and jaw soreness for three days, had to take 1000mg of Tylenol to feel better). It also attacked my dog. I thought in my mind "JESUS" and it stopped. My dog woke up and came to me. We felt peace afterwards. It comes every now and then. I just get through it with Jesus. They have no power over us unless we let them.

I have experienced the same thing. I could go through a checkout line and the cashier is pleasant with everyone else when I get up there they turn Stone Cold. I asked a former Pastor if it could be spiritual and he did say that yes it can be, but the enemy in them recognizes the spirit of God in me.
Girl, people are staring different at me, most men. I close my face, stay serious, dreess modestly, people stare at me, out of nowhere. I have never experienced that in my whole life, no matter where I go or the social class, people will stare (most men). I am currently in a battle for my family. Suddenly all this crazy stuff of people staring me.
I met a woman 10 years ago who had many signs in her life pointing to occult activities. When I questioned her about them she denied them but I now believe she was ignorant of what she was doing because of a lack of knowledge about the demonic world. She's would say things like "everywhere I go people would know my name" or I'm a member of a club where we occasionally get together wearing all black. @Esperandoonoivo
I am only 14 minutes in and I am in so grateful and shocked... these have been my experiences too... and in the past I didn't know what to do... i used to be an elementary school teacher and some of the students would manifest demons in front of me and I feel so bad that I didn't tell it to go in Jesus name... I was just so shocked... I was in seminary school at NOBTS and my mentor started to manifest a demon and I did nothing.... I've also experienced random people glaring at me like they hated me and then I realized they had all this occult stuff on.... I 1,000% believe that we are EXACTLY as you said we are in the kingdom of light and they can see it.
What does it mean for a "demon to manifest"? How exactly did the children and your mentor "manifest a demon"? What happened? And random people glaring at you -- why do you jump to the conclusion of demons and not something like mental illness, sleep deprivation, etc.?
The mentor starting blinking compulsively and her head and neck were moving in a way like there was a struggle going on within herself … I had seen it happen once before in someone else… it’s bizarre … I looked across the table at another woman who was witnessing the whole thing and she was as shocked as I was because she had known this mentor for a few years . I was just meeting her for the first time over lunch. The school assigned her to me- everyone new graduate student got one. This one particular student was growling at me and her personality was gone and something else came there that was not her. I’ve taught hundreds of kids truly it was smirking and laughing and making strange noises … she was a brilliant child but she had serious behavior issues and did not like to be caught in lies or face consequences.

I had the same experience. I was raised Christian, pastors kid. And never had a demonic encounter until after I started actively trying to convert people. I've had people call me on the phone at work that responded to my thoughts. This year I had a patient that wished me a "happy belated birthday" 1 day after my birthday. This guy didn't know me and none of my coworkers told him. So.. You kind of just get used to it. The hard part is when you are confronted with a possessed person I almost always forget to pray for them. So I guess it shows my maturity is not all the way there yet.
Thank you for this amazing interview with Mr. Steve Dabbs. It took me a long time to realize how serious this spiritual war is and how constant it is. We Christians need to realize, when we confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and accept Him, and want to know more about the God of the Bible, we’re declaring war on the kingdom of darkness. Now we have their attention. But like God constantly says in the Bible, “Be not afraid.” Read your Bible. Continually pray for yourself and others. And stay away from old habits. In Jesus name, Amen.

Two demonic encounters are what drove me to the Lord. The first was at the home of a man I was involved with. I did not see, but felt this evil presence, which was unmistakable. Some time after this i was looking for a pen in that house and found some hard porn magazines. I believe the demon i encountered was associated with those magazines. The other time was in my bedroom where the face of what looked like an alien being appeared to me. I've had some bad scares in my life, but nothing like these two encounters. It wasn't long after that that I became a Christian.

Come to think of it, as an RN, I wonder how many people that have been diagnosed as schizophrenic may or may not be so. Not saying schizophrenia isn't a real physical disorder, but could there be a spiritual component as well?

Absolutely! I have a neighbor , he's young in his thirties , he struggles with mental illness. The first time I prayed for him I blacked out , the evil attached was so over powering. Jesus name is the name above all!
@theNightingaleSings718 My brother has been schizophrenic for over 30 years. I have dealt with several major relapses he has had. He has multiple personalities and will text me "Shhh we have Stevie trapped." So I know there are demons there. He has one personality in particular that hates me, has attacked me and will call and sat vile horrible things to me. I have learned how to bind these demons and plead the Blood of Jesus over my brother. I have learned as well that unless a person submits to Jesus, those demons that get casted out will come back with 7 greater than the first leaving the condition of the person worse than before. The doors of entry that have given demons legal rights to stay and operate in a bound person's life, it's necessary to close all entry gates. And the person cannot continue in the things that caused him to be demonized in the first place. I am praying for my brother that he will be set free from these demons in Jesus name. I do know that my brother got pulled into the occult in high school. By the time he finished college, he had his first psychotic mental breakdown. Please pray for my brother Stevie 🙏

Wow, the descriptions of the angry people made me think of an experience I have. I was walking past people at a train station and something made me take a second glance at one of the people. He was staring at me with the scariest angry face I have never seen before or since on a human, it reminded me so strongly of that Doctor who adversary, the smilers, when they showed their 3rd and angriest face. I was terrified, looked away and walked away quickly. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it.
I'm so glad y'all are talking about this. I have been trying to get my son who has been tormented for years by demons to write a book about his experiences. This is real! I have experienced demons myself. You know it is demons because the name of Jesus is the only thing that gets rid of them. They go immediately. My son also suffers from PTSD and night terrors from this. Since getting re- baptized and following Jesus more closely, he has been mostly relieved from the night terrors. But still occasionally has attacks in his sleep. Once you have been exposed to demons, you can recognize them, and they recognize you. This is why you can now detect evil in people. These demons see Jesus in you and are truly afraid.
Sean - This was fascinating. I believe that the Western church has really watered down the supernatural aspect of our faith. I'm a big fan of yours (you once made a quick video to my daughter Carley, up at Hume Lake), and this was one of your best interviews. I purchased Steve's book before I was done watching this episode.
Prayer and fasting is the only way to relieve yourself from these things .Before you fast make sure you have no unforgivness in your heart . May the Almighty God continue to guide your path .

True story over 20 years ago i had a co-worker i worked nights with. He opened up to me about struggling with being harassed by multiple demons/dark spirits. I was in my early 20's at the time and didnt know what to make of his dark experiences he would describe to me. One night as we were out in the parking lot smoking cigarettes he told me about a church that was across the street that he flat out said there was a darkness there and he wouldnt even go in the parking lot because of the darkness that he could sense. I was curious and started asking all types of questions about why he thought this and what exactly he was sensing. All he would say was "I dont know its just dark over there." From what i could tell it was a nice church that was very well kept with a big clean parking lot with a healthy congregation/attendance. Many years later i was in the car with my brother in law and we were driving by that church and he just made a passing comment that that church was a pro LGBT congregation that held on to a more universalistic doctrine. After hearing this chills went down my spine and i immediately recalled that conversation with my co-worker many years earlier. Darkness is out there and its real!!
Praise God the truth about the forces of darkness is being exposed more and people are waking up being drawn to God! My first dark encounter was as a little girl around age 4 or 5. Through the years more came. Was attacked at my bed as a teenager (long story, I refused to accept fear but felt I had to stay awake on guard all night to protect myself) A demon took over my own arms and hands and curled my fingers into a hideous way and tried to choke me with my own hands! I closed my eyes and asked God what is it? Help came. My fingers unfurled and hands, arms trembling lifted upwards away from my neck. I was not aware at that time that I was being protected by an angel or so, or even Yeshua himself! Afterwards, I lay there thinking, I cant jump off the bunkbed to the floor or whatever that is might try to get me there too. (My vocal cords were blocked too, so I couldnt even hollar for help). In your mind you can cry out to God! I lay there upset that I would have to be on guard all night. Even a few cuss words i said about my situation. Of course God read my mind. Peaceful, gentle churning water sensation began to fill my body from my feet throughout entire body. As it was happening, it felt good and I knew I had no control about that either, but wait and see what's up with that. Soon as I was completely filled, I rolled over to my side and fell asleep! I told my ma the next day when I got up and she told me to pray and that God was tryna tell me something. HalleluYah!
As a Pentecostal, I've always known of the authority we have over demons in Jesus' name and I've even taught my young grandson how to deal with things that go boomp in the night. He knows demons are real and he has authority over them.
people can have demons and people can have strongholds So they need deliverance and healing and renewing of the mind and it’s important to repent, to surrender, to renounce, to forgive etc. demons try to hide but in the Bible it says everything hidden will be brought to light and God is the Strongest Most Powerful 😊❤ It’s good to be completely free 😊❤ praise God Who the Son sets free is free indeed

I do not know if you are a new to the faith or have been walking with Christ for a while but which ever it may be I will say this, do not dismay or be afraid! I am no bible scholar but I know that what the word of God says is true and I hold on to it Isaiah 55:11, Numbers 23:19. Christ Jesus who you serve is greater than any demon 1 John 4:4, 2 Kings 6:15-17, even the demons themselves know this and tremble Matthew 8:29, Luke 4:33-34, so their tatic is to try to place fear and doubt in us. But be confident of who you are in Christ 1John 4:4, you already have the victory because of Christ! 1 John 5:4. Isaiah 54:16-17, Psalm 18:3. You have power in the name of Jesus Christ to destroy strongholds Luke 10:18-19, 2 Corinthians 10:3-7. Your faith as Ephesians 6:16 says is a shield with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. Rebuke every evil/demon in the name of Jesus Luke 4:35, keep fasting, praying and speaking/declaring the word of God Isaiah 54:17. Battles were fought using swords, our sword of the Spirit is the word of God Ephesians 6:17 and God never lies He will fulfil His word Isaiah 55:11. I will also say this in addition, repent of any sin / 'secret' sin. The devil is the accuser of the brethren (Revelations 12:10) who is true to his nature as a theif, a deceiver and a liar, and will accuse us using our secret sins to make us feel like we do not have the right to call on the name of the Lord because of these sins. I am not saying it is exclusively because of a sin or sins that these attacks occur (we have all sinned and unfortunately keep sinning but we are redeemed by Christ Jesus when we repent because He loves us), but it is a possibility. Sins can be strongholds that we need to bring to repentance Psalm 139:23-24, 1John 5:18. And true repentance is the first step to bringing down the stronghold of sin. So once again be confident of who you are in Christ Jesus. Rebuke every demon in the name of Jesus Christ who has given us the victory. Repent and turn away from sins, fast, pray without ceasing, have faith, use the sword of the word of God. As children of God on this earth we are in a battle (which we have already won) and we should always be on alert using what God has given us through Christ Jesus. Finally, I will encourage you to prayerfully reach out to a spiritually mature/experienced Christian to pray with and/or for you Matthew 18:18-20. Even Jesus prayed for Peter against the enemy Luke 22:31-32. You can also reach out to your church pastor or the prayer department or deliverance ministry at your church if they have one. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you receive total deliverance and the peace that passes all understanding that God gives. Amen.
Confess and repent for specific sins. Satan is a legalist. Use the word like a sword and cut the bondages to people, places, things and habit patterns. Tell the demons to go in Jesus name. Ask Holy Spirit to fill you with all of him.
You have the dominion and authority to fight back yourself. You are born again, but there are evil covenants in your bloodline that need to be renounced. Fasting is a MUST as a child of God. Matthew’s 17:21 (This KIND only comes out by praying and fasting KJV). Read about the story with the demonized man and the pigs. The disciples were not able to cast the demon out, but when Jesus completed his 40 day fast the demons immediately left. The church doesn’t teach us how to fight in the spiritual realm but Gods word does. I was attacked my whole life even as a child. God created US to subdue these demonic forces..you can do it ❤
This is very real, brothers and sisters. We have a choice to make: bury our heads in the sand of complacency and remain willingly ignorant, or be strong and courageous, know who we are IN JESUS - wear, bare and dare to use our spiritual weapons of warfare and fight this good fight! I had 2 poeple on separate days once, curse at me, as I was just walking past on the way to a shop...I jusst knew it was a spiritual cause, since there was no provocation, and no cursing was aimed at anyone else. Fortunately i was not afraid, I also had my hubby there.
This is crazy, that sleep paralysis, dark presence in the room, being choked, etc, that all used to happen to me too shortly after coming to Christ....i sometimes couldn't get the name of Jesus out of my mouth, being choked so bad....but when i did get His name out, the presence would leave.....years after though, i began to doubt my interpretation of these experiences, thinking maybe it could have been some kind of psychological or neurological condition.....this one definitely food for thought.

Same things happened to me as a child/adult. There is witchcraft and other transgressions in my bloodline which allowed this to happen at a young age. The church is teaching a watered down gospel so the child of God lack knowledge and understanding of these. This life is more spiritual than we even know until you start to walk in the spirit you will see…
I had a similar experience that Steve had when first became a believer and I started really getting into God’s word and then would have what felt like someone choking me as well and in my dream it was a dark presence but I couldn’t see its face. I was saying in the dream “Jesus is King” and that’s why I was being chocked. And then I remember I was praying and then woke up and my neck was soooo tingly and felt like it was really grabbed. I have had a couple of those and prayed that God would rebuke those evil spirits and things away and haven’t had one of those dreams in awhile.
One of my wife’s brother, was on his death bed. Now her broths and I had spoken and went to church and he told me he received Jesus and I felt he was moving along in his walk with the Lord, but then I began noticing him falling away. He told me, that paster was caught in adultery and it rely bothered him. When I was told that he was dying, we went to be with him. When we got, I went to and told him, call out to Jesus, I don’t know if he heard me, his eyes were closed and I sat down across from him. Then as I was looking at him, he hissed at me, I know it was a demon. I don’t think the demon did not like that I told my wife’s brother to call out to Jesus, then he past away.
Around 10 years old I started having night terrors. My parents were not religious or had a relationship with God. There was a movie I was obsessed with around that age it’s called the craft it’s a very well known movie. Well I was intrigued by the witchcraft in this movie and I started trying to do some of the rituals with my neighbors. FYI all my neighbors were 10 and under smallest 5 years old. I would encourage all the kids to lay down and chant something to try and levitate someone off the ground. This was a ritual from the movie I had seen. Around this very same time my dreams were becoming terrifying. I would dream of demons torturing me and other stuff I cannot mention. But I am 100% sure I opened the door to something at a very young age. Because some of the dreams were not something a 10 year old can come up with. Glory to God he took them away when I had my first baby. I cried out to him and he took them away.
Wonderful that you were rescued. So many people enter the dark spiritual realm unknowingly, in ways like you describe. I had a few of those experiences as a child - playing with a few of those occult things, ignorantly. I was fortunate that God protected me from getting involved or overtaken before I became saved. Because I did find it quite interesting and had no idea it was dangerous.
Yea you opened the door to your subconscious mind, that manifested what you’ve been focusing on. These things are not hard to summarize, please stop being so gullible

Its hard when interviewers interrupt the interviewee leading the direction of the interview to a different subject, and your like "Man i wanted to hear what they were gonna say" So thank you. I can tell this guy is the real deal! Hes not like the "deliverance ministers" trying to use and abuse scripture to justify what they are doing. The reality is, that we are in a spiritual war. And a lot of times as Christians, we do not walk like that. I pray that i become more aware and more confident in God and that i use the weapons that he has giving me. Sometimes God allows us to feel His Presence, He can literally touch us 😊❤and He gives us Peace that surpasses all understanding, Love, Joy , Strength etc of course it’s always important to never live by our emotions and to always be aware of His Presence knowing and remembering that He is always there with us (we are never alone) guiding us, helping us, speaking to us😊❤ Meanwhile the devil and the demons only want to steal kill and destroy so there presence is dark, heavy, wanting to instill fear and they are dirty etc.
Don’t forget: Christians, who are indwelled by the Holy Spirit, cannot be possessed. However, we can be demonically influenced and oppressed. Put on the whole Armor of God!
100%! I know what it's like to be oppressed. I was 14 when it started and 18 when it finally stopped. Unfortunately, it caused me to walk away from my faith for 15 years. That's what I think it wanted all along. I rededicated my life to Christ in 1991 and have never looked back. Now I understand what happened. At the time, I had no one to turn to.
I wish this was true. Possession isn't real. Demonization is. Demons do call you their home, even as a Christain, until you cast them out. How simple it would be if Christains were not demonized-- just have them pray the sinners prayer and no work needed--yay! Unfortunately, we've been deceived on that point for many years-- myself included.
I can say I was and it was the most humiliating situation I've been gons through. Anyways, hope it doesn't happen to anyone here. "But you weren't Christian " yes, my salvation was not the point here. "Ahh, but you weren't really possessed, it was emotional" I was 33 years old, no historic of this situation in my life and/or my family. Have gonw through a lot of ministries that work with deliverance and never manifested. One day, I went to a church service, asked God to cleanse me, no matter what, and I manifested. If you don't believe, no problem. My experience is not dogma or doctrine. I just give my testimony because many others may be out there feeling guilty or unsaved. I had the same experience as this brother. Until one day, the thunder of GOD came upon me and destroyed the enemy. Calling out to Jesus Christ, pleading the blood, and praying always.
Yep, had something happen to me that scared me bad, because of something stupid I did. I had nightmares for 13 months. I had PTSD from seeing what I saw. The nightmares were not of this world. God sees everything you do. There is no in-between with him. One or the other. People can't fathom what the pit looks like. The worst part is mental. Sure woke me up, and changed me forever. God did intervene, and destroyed the nightmares. Long story. So much happened. This stuff is real. Demons are very real.
When I first began reading the bible (in the evenings), I repeatedly became so sleepy and would wake up with my bible in my lap and I was completely face down in it. I am nocturnal and have had insomnia for decades so I do not just pass out sitting up. It happened for several weeks and I finally prayed about it saying "Lord, why is this happening? I am not bored, I really want to read this and am interested in reading your words. What is going on!?" Within a couple of days I come across a video that mentioned this very issue being interference from the enemy. I was pissed and authoritatively shouted, "You listen to me satan and demons, you will not stop me from reading this word in Jesus name!" I started praying each time before I began reading and after a few days, no more interference. Praise God Almighty! We do so many things that invite their presence that we are unaware of and so when we stop those things and turn to Jesus, they will try to stop us in many ways. It is a wonderful feeling when you know how to fight back and bind them with the name above all names, Jesus Christ.

Steve has some great insights and has done exhaustive research on the unseen demonic realm. Including not only the Protestant teachings on the enemy but what Roman Catholic exorcists do. Man. Great video! I have had sleep paralysis and is a real thing. Only in Jesus name did this evil spirit leave. Innocently my mom taught us some witch craft when we were kids, things she was taught when she was in school in Wisconsin, she didn't know they were witchcraft either. My brother and I didn't even know anything about things like this at ages 8 and 10. But it opened the door for these demons to harass us both with night paralysis, sometimes in the day too... Once I was taught about spiritual warfare and praying in Jesus name for them to leave, these demons left and have not come back! Be careful don't open yourself up to demons through witch craft, yoga, sins, etc... even innocently these things can happen.
I am glad you mentioned this! More than once I have had random people flip me the bird for NO REASON. Like weird situations! People that have a demon despise the LIGHT.
I can totally relate with this story. I used to go to a boarding school when I was 12. And 1 day I saw 2 short "men" by my bed who had to eyes and without lifting a had, tried to lift me off my bed. I could feel my body lifting off the bed. That night I was sharing a bed with a friend. As soon as the tightness left my body, I lifting f happened to my friend, she was being lifted off the bed. And I quickly woke her up asking if she is aware she is levitating. Many times I would feel a presence beside me at night, I would be awake with my eyes closed and I'd feel it.

Hi Sean, thanks for interviewing Steve. Mr, Dabbs, I do believe you hit the nail square on the head. We as christians fighting amongst ourselves is a huge problem. The basis of our christens faith is Jesus, end of story.
This stuff really is real, I've had to deal with it in traumatic ways growing up, [I'm only in my 20s] and my father relates to the INVISIBLE hand choking mentioned here. Nowadays I rely fully on Jesus to get through all things and he always comes through, He is Lord over All. But it's true that the church needs a wake up call, to address this stuff. 🙏 Yes, there has been a cultural shift toward recognizing the paranormal/extra dimensional, though sadly that cultural shift has come in on a wave of accepting witchcraft, mysticism, and occult activities into the mainstream of culture, rather than a rise of genuine Christianity. I say this as one who grew up in the church, steered clear of the occult all along, and was otherwise sheltered, yet still encountered it through people who claimed to be Christians, but were living in sin that opened the floodgates to demonic oppression, and even possession; which included many of the details Steve describes here. While I can put my fear of demons to rest in Jesus' name, I still need prayer, and the battle isn't over, as I sometimes still struggle with experiences or nightmares "sensing" evil presences nearby. Anti-God relatives clashing with lukewarm [and some serious] Christians here have stirred "friction" between spiritual forces lately. The apathy and denial many in the church have over this issue only allows it to grow worse, like a deadly infection... I'm a very scientifically minded person, trying to find a "logical" reasoning behind everything, but in truth, there are things where "an unseen realm" IS the only rational explanation, even atheists have opened up to me about that.
When my aunt who was a pastor passed, she raised me and my brother from when i was 1y.o till graduating college and so ive got a lot of various regrets I wished I could have done before she passed and not being able to see her even on her funeral. At one point I wished I could see her one last time and right after that thought I am reminded immediately of what she told me that if you saw their spirit after passing that’s not them. It’s the devil trying to deceive you and copying them. So don’t be fooled by it. Thankfully that didn’t happen despite of my thought. Although I dream of her once in a while until now.
From what I’ve heard it’s not good to dream of people who are resting/passed because it’s most likely to be a demon and talking to the dead is called necromancy so it’s witchcraft By the way I recommend not listening to kpop I used to listen to a lot of secular music but its literally demonic and I can give many examples why God has helped me to stop listening to secular music and I never want to go back if it’s not about God what is it about? If it’s not for God who is it for? The devil used to make music in Heaven until he got kicked out because he wanted everyone to worship him instead Ephesians 5:19 “singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.” 😊❤️
I've had troubles with "Satan" since I was four years old. I was followed, chased, pursued with a vengeance. When I came into a spiritual maturity and I knew and understood Jesus was the only door to find the peace of GOD, I anointed every window, every door, every mirror, in my home with rebuke, bound, and cast them out! One time only following (soon thereafter) a demonic female approximately 28 years old sat on my chest and was choking me; I coud not breath. I repeated the words and noticed on the ceiling a crowd of demons looking down at me (approximatey 16 of them); they fled and I have never had a problem again. I attribute all of this to my faith; not having a crack of a doubt who is the King, the door, and I am still free. Physical beings are another thing; they relentlessly try to attack, but they will never have success. I stand firm on Jesus Christ, the opposite of some family member. Jesus is the "only" way.

*I have had the same experience with people having snarling faces my whole life. Ever since I was young I've been messed with and attacked by people with snarling faces. It used to bother me but then I realized (over time), it's because the darkness (demons) does not like the Light. I carry the Light and always have so what I realized was people of the darkness want to attack, feed off of, or snuff out the Light when they see it in somebody...*
I had a similar experience - Tortured by demonic spirits when i first got saved; day in and out for about 7 months. Demonic dreams, voices in my head telling me i blasphemed The Holy Spirit and a supernatural feeling of spiritual darkness in my room at night.. It finally ended with me quoting scripture and realizing what was taking place. So yah- I can relate to his story..

You are So right to bring this area of reality up into awareness and conversation. The Church is weak in understanding the spiritual realm, the warfare, and as you said, who we are in Christ. Jesus shares His Authority with His children, we are seated with Him in Christ... So amazing!! And this is SO THAT we can bring the Victorious power of Christ into people's lives and circumstances here on earth!
Twice in my life I've woke up late in the night surrounded by pure evil. I started praying and calling on God and the evil disappeared and i went right back to sleep. I didnt realize this was demonds i dont know what i thought. Im glad i have God to protect me. I dont know why this happened.

You see if you carry the light of Jesus Christ in you and they're going to respond to you because today it's like Jesus walking up... Some will run in terror some will give you ugly mean stares but from a distance. However you have complete authority and control over all of them through the blood and name of Jesus Christ... But it's a real spiritual thing especially if you're filled with the holy Spirit
I had a similar experience of being choked by a pair of hands they looked blue in colour and felt cold against my neck. I grabbed the hands and yanked them away from me and said, "get away from me you demon from hell" and sure enough the hands vanished. I looked over at my then husband who was fast asleep in the bed next to me and he didn't hear a thing. I have had several other encounters while I was married and later on in my relationship with a former partner. Both my ex husband and former partner had dealings with what we call obeah or the occult. They both have family members who deals with these dark forces on behalf of others or for themselves. Only after my relationships ended, did I get the full understanding of why I was being attacked in this way. I was laying with dogs and catching their fleas! We should be careful of the company we keep, I have come to understand that the very people that live around me, some are very mixed up with the occult and obeah and it's growing in interest the younger generations are getting into this stuff without even realising it. New Age is a gateway to these encounters and it's popular, with celebrities too!

It is not a question of preference, it’s a question about being spiritually and knowledgeably more prepared and knowing the right words to say and Priests definitely have that much more than regular people who has no knowledge or spiritual preparation to face something as serious as an evil thing !!

Imagine what the earth is going to be like when the restrainer is removed. We don't have much time left to know the word, memorize scripture and build our relationship with Jesus Christ. Psalm 91 is a must know even if you cannot memorize the entire thing, try your best to know as much of it as possible. Remember that Matthew 17:21 was removed for a reason. The devil doesn't want you to know how to defend yourself and help others. There is a great book by John Ramirez called Fire Prayers that I purchased a few weeks ago and it is great. An ex-occultist knows the enemy's strategies and knows how to fight back! I will be purchasing this gentleman's book as well. This knowledge is a part of our armour.

As a young girl, I often "saw things" that no one else could or would see. When I tried to describe them, I was told I was just dreaming. I can't explain what exactly was different, but I knew when I was dreaming and when I wasn't. Little ceramic figurine "angels" would dance and try to draw me into a conversation. They were so pretty and elegant. I wanted to engage but something inside me said I shouldn't. As an adult, I would have visions of horrible things that were about to happen and I just dismissed the thought until I later realized that they were happening in real time. The Columbine massacre. 9/11. Others more personal. I learned that during those times I needed to stop what I was doing and pray. So maybe not demonic, but God calling His warriors to prayer. But life got busy and I soon stopped having the visions. Makes me sad, now, to think that perhaps God knew it wasn't worth giving me a vision because He knew I wouldn't take the time to pray. But then my firstborn child started seeing things at a very young age like roaring lions and slithering snakes....while he was fully awake, at least as far as we could tell. Other parents tried to give us helpful advice like giving our son a bottle of "magic" water to spray on the threatening creatures. Uh, yeah, no. Just no. I believed my son and knew he needed more than an impotent magic potion. When I read Psalm 8:2 I knew it was the tool each of our children could use against satan and demons: "From the lips of infants and children, you have ordained praise, to silence the foe and enemy." We taught our children that if they were praising God, the demons would have to be silent and in fact, flee. Our son continued to see things well into his teen years, but he had the tools to make them go away. And no, he is not schizophrenic.
I've read and experienced much in this area, but will prob buy this book. I've always wondered how the early church and the ancient Hebrews dealt with this. Also learning about more experiences are always helpful. Thanks for great interview!

As someone who used to be severely oppressed, ( because I spoke to spirits) I can tell you with 100% boldness that the closer you are to Christ, the further you are from the darkness. I had to really submit myself to God and declare, " I belong to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He bought me with his blood, so you have absolutely no chains on me!" Praying, reading scriptures, and fasting drew me closer to Him. It took several months to understand and get to that point, but God was there every single step of the way!🙏🏻🙌🏻 Glory to God!

@@christinesorensen8050 Before. In the beginning I thought I was speaking with ghosts of people who died that had previously lived in the area.
Unfortunately, that's a huge doorway for the spirits. Those familiar spirits Start manifesting as a deceased loved one especially if the grief is fresh. When my spouse passed I had demons coming to me as him in my dreams. Once they can get you to start interacting with them it gives them more permission to be there. Keep fighting the good fight my friends ❤

I was attacked by an entity when I lay in bed one evening. I wasn't a Christian and didnt know how to pray. All I could remember was the first couple of sentences of the Lords Prayer and I couldn't even say them as I was so terrified.

I repented and came out of the homosexual lifestyle. After I gave my life to God, I was bullied and sexually harassed by demons for months as well. I was like I'll never go back to the darkness. They messed up by being so apparent and bold.

Thank you Sean and Steve! This reminded me of a supernatural battle when I was first saved five years ago.
I had a demon speak into my head while doing devotions one morning and I was so green I didn't know to say in the name of Jesus leave me alone, I held my head instead and said stop , stop leave me alone which of course did nothing.
The Lord gave me visions for the next two weeks letting me know I was in a spiritual battle and fortunately I had some great small group ladies instructing me how to deal with this properly. The Lord brought me through!
Spiritual battle is real , that is why Paul instructs us about the full armor of God.
I also want to say that If we are not praying for our candidates running for election and for the people already in our government we really need to get with it. Last night I was praying this way and I thought I was going to pass out , there is a great battle going on in the heavenly realm over our country and we need to pray as never before. I was a psych patient 2020 the the entire summer. I was locked in a hallway for 40 days, let out, went back in another 40 days. At the time I felt like everyone else had demons and maybe some of them did.. but so did I.
I didn't realize how bad it was until I asked God to help me and all the creepy stuff stopped.
It is hard to explain to someone who has never gone through it.. but being demonically fallen felt like reality itself was altered around me. It was very interesting and something about it was intoxicating/ it made my judgement extremely poor while at the same time making me feel like I had super powers.
It's funny how the truth is the opposite. If God didn't exist ALL OF US would be loaded with those nuggets.

That thumbnail took me back to my teens. A gargoyle-looking demon about 2.5 feet tall used to wake me up at 3:43am and sometimes sat up on the wall like that. The demon was so dark I could see it in a pitch-black room. Sometimes it would push me down into the bed, sometimes it was just there. Never happened until I seriously searched for the real walk with Jesus. Once I was on it, it left me alone. The visits would only end with prayer. 40 years ago and I can still remember the feeling that would come over that room, very foul.
Exact same happend to me. It stops INSTANTLY with me calling his name JESUS. It was demanding I open my eyes and look at it. I could feel it's breath on my face. It was covering my mouth with its hands. 😢

I’ve never for one moment doubted that demons are real. As a child, my Mom and her friend had an experience with a “ghost”. And my grandmother’s house had death sounds which I also experienced. I shared with the pastor of our church at the time that I sensed a demonic stronghold in a grove of trees across from my parents home. He said that others had said that when they came back to the church to give a program, that they could sense a difference when they crossed the the bridge just before my Grandma’s house. Which makes sense because my cousin that owned the property was an evil man. My husband shared with me recently that when Mom would ask him to outside after dark to dump table scraps that he got such an eerie feeling and would hurry to get back inside. And my son hated being outside there after dark. I was never scared because I guess I grew up there and felt as a Christian I had the protection of the blood of Jesus.
He was talking about his ten year old daughter. I think more times than people realize, when kids say there is something scary in their room, under the bed, that kind of thing, that it is demonic and not just their imagination. Not all the time, but many times. Satan doesn’t play fair.

The night time visits are happening to me as well. This thing closed my mouth when I tried to cry out to Jesus. (I had mouth and jaw soreness for three days, had to take 1000mg of Tylenol to feel better). It also attacked my dog.
I thought in my mind "JESUS" and it stopped. My dog woke up and came to me. We felt peace afterwards.
It comes every now and then. I just get through it with Jesus. They have no power over us unless we let them.
EXACT SAME THING HAPPEND TO ME!!! Stopped Instantly when I called for Jesus in my head! It had its hand over my mouth and was demanding I open my eyes and look at it. I was so terrified I couldn't open my eyes. It was breathing and snarling like an inch from my nose/face.
These are signs that we're in the last days.

I have experienced the same thing. I could go through a checkout line and the cashier is pleasant with everyone else when I get up there they turn Stone Cold. I asked a former Pastor if it could be spiritual and he did say that yes it can be, but the enemy in them recognizes the spirit of God in me.

Girl, people are staring different at me, most men. I close my face, stay serious, dreess modestly, people stare at me, out of nowhere.
I have never experienced that in my whole life, no matter where I go or the social class, people will stare (most men).
I am currently in a battle for my family. Suddenly all this crazy stuff of people staring me.
I met a woman 10 years ago who had many signs in her life pointing to occult activities. When I questioned her about them she denied them but I now believe she was ignorant of what she was doing because of a lack of knowledge about the demonic world. I am only 14 minutes in and I am in so grateful and shocked... these have been my experiences too... and in the past I didn't know what to do... i used to be an elementary school teacher and some of the students would manifest demons in front of me and I feel so bad that I didn't tell it to go in Jesus name... I was just so shocked... I was in seminary school at NOBTS and my mentor started to manifest a demon and I did nothing.... I've also experienced random people glaring at me like they hated me and then I realized they had all this occult stuff on.... I 1,000% believe that we are EXACTLY as you said we are in the kingdom of light and they can see it.
What does it mean for a "demon to manifest"? How exactly did the children and your mentor "manifest a demon"? What happened? And random people glaring at you -- why do you jump to the conclusion of demons and not something like mental illness, sleep deprivation, etc.?
The mentor starting blinking compulsively and her head and neck were moving in a way like there was a struggle going on within herself … I had seen it happen once before in someone else… it’s bizarre … I looked across the table at another woman who was witnessing the whole thing and she was as shocked as I was because she had known this mentor for a few years . I was just meeting her for the first time over lunch. The school assigned her to me- everyone new graduate student got one.
This one particular student was growling at me and her personality was gone and something else came there that was not her. I’ve taught hundreds of kids truly it was smirking and laughing and making strange noises … she was a brilliant child but she had serious behavior issues and did not like to be caught in lies or face consequences.

I had the same experience. I was raised Christian, pastors kid. And never had a demonic encounter until after I started actively trying to convert people. I've had people call me on the phone at work that responded to my thoughts.
This year I had a patient that wished me a "happy belated birthday" 1 day after my birthday. This guy didn't know me and none of my coworkers told him. So.. You kind of just get used to it. The hard part is when you are confronted with a possessed person I almost always forget to pray for them. So I guess it shows my maturity is not all the way there yet.
Those things make you know someone is processed?
Yes! Repentance, forgiveness, renounce, speak a word of command, and bless all in Jesus name.
The demons want to work in the shadows. It's good to shine a spotlight on them and expose them!

We Christians need to realize, when we confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and accept Him, and want to know more about the God of the Bible, we’re declaring war on the kingdom of darkness.

Two demonic encounters are what drove me to the Lord. The first was at the home of a man I was involved with. I did not see, but felt this evil presence, which was unmistakable. Some time after this i was looking for a pen in that house and found some hard porn magazines. I believe the demon i encountered was associated with those magazines. The other time was in my bedroom where the face of what looked like an alien being appeared to me. I've had some bad scares in my life, but nothing like these two encounters. It wasn't long after that that I became a Christian.
Just under 5 months of very intense Spiritual Warfare in 2022: demonic, angelic. Many less intense periods back to 5 years old. This stuff is very real.

Absolutely! I have a neighbor , he's young in his thirties , he struggles with mental illness. The first time I prayed for him I blacked out , the evil attached was so over powering. Jesus name is the name above all!
@theNightingaleSings718 My brother has been schizophrenic for over 30 years. I have dealt with several major relapses he has had. He has multiple personalities and will text me "Shhh we have Stevie trapped." So I know there are demons there. He has one personality in particular that hates me, has attacked me and will call and sat vile horrible things to me. I have learned how to bind these demons and plead the Blood of Jesus over my brother. I have learned as well that unless a person submits to Jesus, those demons that get casted out will come back with 7 greater than the first leaving the condition of the person worse than before. The doors of entry that have given demons legal rights to stay and operate in a bound person's life, it's necessary to close all entry gates. And the person cannot continue in the things that caused him to be demonized in the first place. I am praying for my brother that he will be set free from these demons in Jesus name. I do know that my brother got pulled into the occult in high school. By the time he finished college, he had his first psychotic mental breakdown. Please pray for my brother Stevie 🙏

Wow, the descriptions of the angry people made me think of an experience I have. I was walking past people at a train station and something made me take a second glance at one of the people. He was staring at me with the scariest angry face I have never seen before or since on a human, it reminded me so strongly of that Doctor who adversary, the smilers, when they showed their 3rd and angriest face. I was terrified, looked away and walked away quickly. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it.

I'm so glad y'all are talking about this. I have been trying to get my son who has been tormented for years by demons to write a book about his experiences. This is real! I have experienced demons myself. You know it is demons because the name of Jesus is the only thing that gets rid of them. They go immediately. My son also suffers from PTSD and night terrors from this. Since getting re- baptized and following Jesus more closely, he has been mostly relieved from the night terrors. But still occasionally has attacks in his sleep.
Once you have been exposed to demons, you can recognize them, and they recognize you. This is why you can now detect evil in people. These demons see Jesus in you and are truly afraid.
Even the US military has declassified files on this. THEY KNOW its real. The public for the most part are the only ones who act like this is not real.
Crazy thing is you can see them without evening opening your eyes!!
Sean - This was fascinating. I believe that the Western church has really watered down the supernatural aspect of our faith. I'm a big fan of yours (you once made a quick video to my daughter Carley, up at Hume Lake), and this was one of your best interviews. I wish I had never experienced sleep paralysis… I was about 40 when I 1st experienced it. Happened probably 10 times most recent 3 months ago.
Prayer and fasting is the only way to relieve yourself from these things .Before you fast make sure you have no unforgivness in your heart .

True story over 20 years ago i had a co-worker i worked nights with. He opened up to me about struggling with being harassed by multiple demons/dark spirits. I was in my early 20's at the time and didnt know what to make of his dark experiences he would describe to me. One night as we were out in the parking lot smoking cigarettes he told me about a church that was across the street that he flat out said there was a darkness there and he wouldnt even go in the parking lot because of the darkness that he could sense. I was curious and started asking all types of questions about why he thought this and what exactly he was sensing. All he would say was "I dont know its just dark over there." From what i could tell it was a nice church that was very well kept with a big clean parking lot with a healthy congregation/attendance. Many years later i was in the car with my brother in law and we were driving by that church and he just made a passing comment that that church was a pro LGBT congregation that held on to a more universalistic doctrine. After hearing this chills went down my spine and i immediately recalled that conversation with my co-worker many years earlier. Darkness is out there and its real!!
Praise God the truth about the forces of darkness is being exposed more and people are waking up being drawn to God! My first dark encounter was as a little girl around age 4 or 5. Through the years more came. Was attacked at my bed as a teenager (long story, I refused to accept fear but felt I had to stay awake on guard all night to protect myself) A demon took over my own arms and hands and curled my fingers into a hideous way and tried to choke me with my own hands! I closed my eyes and asked God what is it? Help came. My fingers unfurled and hands, arms trembling lifted upwards away from my neck. I was not aware at that time that I was being protected by an angel or so, or even Yeshua himself! Afterwards, I lay there thinking, I cant jump off the bunkbed to the floor or whatever that is might try to get me there too. (My vocal cords were blocked too, so I couldnt even hollar for help). In your mind you can cry out to God! I lay there upset that I would have to be on guard all night. Even a few cuss words i said about my situation. Of course God read my mind. Peaceful, gentle churning water sensation began to fill my body from my feet throughout entire body. As it was happening, it felt good and I knew I had no control about that either, but wait and see what's up with that. Soon as I was completely filled,
I rolled over to my side and fell asleep! I told my ma the next day when I got up and she told me to pray and that God was tryna tell me something. HalleluYah!
As a Pentecostal, I've always known of the authority we have over demons in Jesus' name and I've even taught my young grandson how to deal with things that go boomp in the night. He knows demons are real and he has authority over them.

I do not know if you are a new to the faith or have been walking with Christ for a while but which ever it may be I will say this, do not dismay or be afraid! I am no bible scholar but I know that what the word of God says is true and I hold on to it Isaiah 55:11, Numbers 23:19.
Christ Jesus who you serve is greater than any demon 1 John 4:4, 2 Kings 6:15-17, even the demons themselves know this and tremble Matthew 8:29, Luke 4:33-34, so their tatic is to try to place fear and doubt in us. But be confident of who you are in Christ 1John 4:4, you already have the victory because of Christ! 1 John 5:4. Isaiah 54:16-17, Psalm 18:3.
You have power in the name of Jesus Christ to destroy strongholds Luke 10:18-19, 2 Corinthians 10:3-7.
Your faith as Ephesians 6:16 says is a shield with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. Rebuke every evil/demon in the name of Jesus Luke 4:35, keep fasting, praying and speaking/declaring the word of God Isaiah 54:17. Battles were fought using swords, our sword of the Spirit is the word of God Ephesians 6:17 and God never lies He will fulfil His word Isaiah 55:11.
I will also say this in addition, repent of any sin / 'secret' sin. The devil is the accuser of the brethren (Revelations 12:10) who is true to his nature as a theif, a deceiver and a liar, and will accuse us using our secret sins to make us feel like we do not have the right to call on the name of the Lord because of these sins. I am not saying it is exclusively because of a sin or sins that these attacks occur (we have all sinned and unfortunately keep sinning but we are redeemed by Christ Jesus when we repent because He loves us), but it is a possibility. Sins can be strongholds that we need to bring to repentance Psalm 139:23-24, 1John 5:18. And true repentance is the first step to bringing down the stronghold of sin.
So once again be confident of who you are in Christ Jesus. Rebuke every demon in the name of Jesus Christ who has given us the victory. Repent and turn away from sins, fast, pray without ceasing, have faith, use the sword of the word of God. As children of God on this earth we are in a battle (which we have already won) and we should always be on alert using what God has given us through Christ Jesus.
Finally, I will encourage you to prayerfully reach out to a spiritually mature/experienced Christian to pray with and/or for you Matthew 18:18-20. Even Jesus prayed for Peter against the enemy Luke 22:31-32.
You can also reach out to your church pastor or the prayer department or deliverance ministry at your church if they have one. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that you receive total deliverance and the peace that passes all understanding that God gives. Amen.

Confess and repent for specific sins. Satan is a legalist. Use the word like a sword and cut the bondages to people, places, things and habit patterns. Tell the demons to go in Jesus name. Ask Holy Spirit to fill you with all of him.

You have the dominion and authority to fight back yourself. You are born again, but there are evil covenants in your bloodline that need to be renounced. Fasting is a MUST as a child of God. Matthew’s 17:21 (This KIND only comes out by praying and fasting KJV). Read about the story with the demonized man and the pigs. The disciples were not able to cast the demon out, but when Jesus completed his 40 day fast the demons immediately left. The church doesn’t teach us how to fight in the spiritual realm but Gods word does. I was attacked my whole life even as a child. God created US to subdue these demonic forces..you can do it ❤
This is very real, brothers and sisters. We have a choice to make: bury our heads in the sand of complacency and remain willingly ignorant, or be strong and courageous, know who we are IN JESUS - wear, bare and dare to use our spiritual weapons of warfare and fight this good fight! I had 2 poeple on separate days once, curse at me, as I was just walking past on the way to a shop...I jusst knew it was a spiritual cause, since there was no provocation, and no cursing was aimed at anyone else. Fortunately i was not afraid, I also had my hubby there.

This is crazy, that sleep paralysis, dark presence in the room, being choked, etc, that all used to happen to me too shortly after coming to Christ....i sometimes couldn't get the name of Jesus out of my mouth, being choked so bad....but when i did get His name out, the presence would leave.....years after though, i began to doubt my interpretation of these experiences, thinking maybe it could have been some kind of psychological or neurological condition.....this one definitely food for thought.
EXACT SAME THING HAPPEND TO ME!!! Stopped Instantly when I called for Jesus in my head! It had its hand over my mouth and was demanding I open my eyes and look at it. I was so terrified I couldn't open my eyes. It was breathing and snarling like an inch from my nose/face.
Same things happened to me as a child/adult. There is witchcraft and other transgressions in my bloodline which allowed this to happen at a young age. The church is teaching a watered down gospel so the child of God lack knowledge and understanding of these. This life is more spiritual than we even know until you start to walk in the spirit you will see…
I had a similar experience that Steve had when first became a believer and I started really getting into God’s word and then would have what felt like someone choking me as well and in my dream it was a dark presence but I couldn’t see its face. I was saying in the dream “Jesus is King” and that’s why I was being chocked. And then I remember I was praying and then woke up and my neck was soooo tingly and felt like it was really grabbed. I have had a couple of those and prayed that God would rebuke those evil spirits and things away and haven’t had one of those dreams in awhile.
One of my wife’s brother, was on his death bed. Now her broths and I had spoken and went to church and he told me he received Jesus and I felt he was moving along in his walk with the Lord, but then I began noticing him falling away. He told me, that paster was caught in adultery and it rely bothered him. When I was told that he was dying, we went to be with him. When we got, I went to and told him, call out to Jesus, I don’t know if he heard me, his eyes were closed and I sat down across from him. Then as I was looking at him, he hissed at me, I know it was a demon. I don’t think the demon did not like that I told my wife’s brother to call out to Jesus, then he past away.
Around 10 years old I started having night terrors. My parents were not religious or had a relationship with God. There was a movie I was obsessed with around that age it’s called the craft it’s a very well known movie. Well I was intrigued by the witchcraft in this movie and I started trying to do some of the rituals with my neighbors. FYI all my neighbors were 10 and under smallest 5 years old. I would encourage all the kids to lay down and chant something to try and levitate someone off the ground. This was a ritual from the movie I had seen. Around this very same time my dreams were becoming terrifying. I would dream of demons torturing me and other stuff I cannot mention. But I am 100% sure I opened the door to something at a very young age. Because some of the dreams were not something a 10 year old can come up with. Glory to God he took them away when I had my first baby. I cried out to him and he took them away.
Wonderful that you were rescued. So many people enter the dark spiritual realm unknowingly, in ways like you describe. I had a few of those experiences as a child - playing with a few of those occult things, ignorantly. I was fortunate that God protected me from getting involved or overtaken before I became saved. Because I did find it quite interesting and had no idea it was dangerous.

Fasting is a very important element in spiritual warfare. I wish he'd touched on it. (Matthew 17:21)
I've been attacked by demons before. Every time, I'd say to them, "I'm a child of Yahweh, you can't hurt/deceive me." They would flee every time.
Sometimes God allows us to feel His Presence, He can literally touch us 😊❤and He gives us Peace that surpasses all understanding, Love, Joy , Strength etc of course it’s always important to never live by our emotions and to always be aware of His Presence knowing and remembering that He is always there with us (we are never alone) guiding us, helping us, speaking to us😊❤
Meanwhile the devil and the demons only want to steal kill and destroy so there presence is dark, heavy, wanting to instill fear and they are dirty etc.
Don’t forget: Christians, who are indwelled by the Holy Spirit, cannot be possessed. However, we can be demonically influenced and oppressed.

100%! I know what it's like to be oppressed. I was 14 when it started and 18 when it finally stopped. Unfortunately, it caused me to walk away from my faith for 15 years. That's what I think it wanted all along. I rededicated my life to Christ in 1991 and have never looked back. Now I understand what happened. At the time, I had no one to turn to.
I wish this was true. Possession isn't real. Demonization is. Demons do call you their home, even as a Christain, until you cast them out. How simple it would be if Christains were not demonized-- just have them pray the sinners prayer and no work needed--yay! Unfortunately, we've been deceived on that point for many years-- myself included.

I was 33 years old, no historic of this situation in my life and/or my family. Have gonw through a lot of ministries that work with deliverance and never manifested. One day, I went to a church service, asked God to cleanse me, no matter what, and I manifested.
If you don't believe, no problem. My experience is not dogma or doctrine. I just give my testimony because many others may be out there feeling guilty or unsaved.

I had the same experience as this brother. Until one day, the thunder of GOD came upon me and destroyed the enemy. Calling out to Jesus Christ, pleading the blood, and praying always.
Yep, had something happen to me that scared me bad, because of something stupid I did. I had nightmares for 13 months. I had PTSD from seeing what I saw. The nightmares were not of this world. God sees everything you do. There is no in-between with him. One or the other. People can't fathom what the pit looks like. The worst part is mental. Sure woke me up, and changed me forever. God did intervene, and destroyed the nightmares. Long story. So much happened. This stuff is real. Demons are very real.
When I first began reading the bible (in the evenings), I repeatedly became so sleepy and would wake up with my bible in my lap and I was completely face down in it. I am nocturnal and have had insomnia for decades so I do not just pass out sitting up. It happened for several weeks and I finally prayed about it saying "Lord, why is this happening? I am not bored, I really want to read this and am interested in reading your words. What is going on!?" Within a couple of days I come across a video that mentioned this very issue being interference from the enemy. I was pissed and authoritatively shouted, "You listen to me satan and demons, you will not stop me from reading this word in Jesus name!" I started praying each time before I began reading and after a few days, no more interference. Praise God Almighty! We do so many things that invite their presence that we are unaware of and so when we stop those things and turn to Jesus, they will try to stop us in many ways. It is a wonderful feeling when you know how to fight back and bind them with the name above all names, Jesus Christ.
Our church JUST finished a lengthy study on ephesians6.various attacks occurred throught-out on devoted members. Eye-opening!!

BTW. I was in military long time. Army Infantry. Ranger. & finally Green Beret followed by years overseas contracting in Iraq & Afghanistan.
I didn’t meet many Chaplains who were born again. Maybe 20%.
Some were atheists or Mormons. Simply took up as chaplaincy as a comfortable job with a retirement after 20!years
But Steve is the real deal. He knows the Lord. And knows our Arch enemy very well.

Great video! I have had sleep paralysis and is a real thing. Only in Jesus name did this evil spirit leave. Innocently my mom taught us some witch craft when we were kids, things she was taught when she was in school in Wisconsin, she didn't know they were witchcraft either. My brother and I didn't even know anything about things like this at ages 8 and 10. But it opened the door for these demons to harass us both with night paralysis, sometimes in the day too... Once I was taught about spiritual warfare and praying in Jesus name for them to leave, these demons left and have not come back! Be careful don't open yourself up to demons through witch craft, yoga, sins, etc... even innocently these things can happen.
I am glad you mentioned this! More than once I have had random people flip me the bird for NO REASON. Like weird situations! People that have a demon despise the LIGHT.
I can totally relate with this story. I used to go to a boarding school when I was 12. And 1 day I saw 2 short "men" by my bed who had to eyes and without lifting a had, tried to lift me off my bed. I could feel my body lifting off the bed. That night I was sharing a bed with a friend. As soon as the tightness left my body, I lifting f happened to my friend, she was being lifted off the bed. And I quickly woke her up asking if she is aware she is levitating.
Many times I would feel a presence beside me at night, I would be awake with my eyes closed and I'd feel it.
What did they look like do you remember ???
@@roxanneiamawake4311 Yeah, 2 short old men, wearing white dresses and white skull caps. They had hollow eyes. I opened my eyes for only a fraction of a second because I was scared.
Hi Sean, thanks for interviewing Steve. Mr, Dabbs, I do believe you hit the nail square on the head. We as christians fighting amongst ourselves is a huge problem. The basis of our christens faith is Jesus, end of story.

This stuff really is real, I've had to deal with it in traumatic ways growing up, [I'm only in my 20s] and my father relates to the INVISIBLE hand choking mentioned here. Nowadays I rely fully on Jesus to get through all things and he always comes through, He is Lord over All. But it's true that the church needs a wake up call, to address this stuff. 🙏 Yes, there has been a cultural shift toward recognizing the paranormal/extra dimensional, though sadly that cultural shift has come in on a wave of accepting witchcraft, mysticism, and occult activities into the mainstream of culture, rather than a rise of genuine Christianity. I say this as one who grew up in the church, steered clear of the occult all along, and was otherwise sheltered, yet still encountered it through people who claimed to be Christians, but were living in sin that opened the floodgates to demonic oppression, and even possession; which included many of the details Steve describes here. While I can put my fear of demons to rest in Jesus' name, I still need prayer, and the battle isn't over, as I sometimes still struggle with experiences or nightmares "sensing" evil presences nearby. Anti-God relatives clashing with lukewarm [and some serious] Christians here have stirred "friction" between spiritual forces lately. The apathy and denial many in the church have over this issue only allows it to grow worse, like a deadly infection... I'm a very scientifically minded person, trying to find a "logical" reasoning behind everything, but in truth, there are things where "an unseen realm" IS the only rational explanation, even atheists have opened up to me about that.
The cool part is that renouncing sin is beneficial all the time, as this is the premise of the gospel.
When my aunt who was a pastor passed, she raised me and my brother from when i was 1y.o till graduating college and so ive got a lot of various regrets I wished I could have done before she passed and not being able to see her even on her funeral. At one point I wished I could see her one last time and right after that thought I am reminded immediately of what she told me that if you saw their spirit after passing that’s not them. It’s the devil trying to deceive you and copying them. So don’t be fooled by it. Thankfully that didn’t happen despite of my thought. Although I dream of her once in a while until now.
From what I’ve heard it’s not good to dream of people who are resting/passed because it’s most likely to be a demon and talking to the dead is called necromancy so it’s witchcraft
By the way I recommend not listening to kpop I used to listen to a lot of secular music but its literally demonic and I can give many examples why God has helped me to stop listening to secular music and I never want to go back if it’s not about God what is it about? If it’s not for God who is it for? The devil used to make music in Heaven until he got kicked out because he wanted everyone to worship him instead Ephesians 5:19 “singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.” 😊❤️
I've had troubles with "Satan" since I was four years old. I was followed, chased, pursued with a vengeance. When I came into a spiritual maturity and I knew and understood Jesus was the only door to find the peace of GOD, I anointed every window, every door, every mirror, in my home with rebuke, bound, and cast them out! One time only following (soon thereafter) a demonic female approximately 28 years old sat on my chest and was choking me; I coud not breath. I repeated the words and noticed on the ceiling a crowd of demons looking down at me (approximatey 16 of them); they fled and I have never had a problem again. I attribute all of this to my faith; not having a crack of a doubt who is the King, the door, and I am still free. Physical beings are another thing; they relentlessly try to attack, but they will never have success. I stand firm on Jesus Christ, the opposite of some family member. Jesus is the "only" way.
1. "I am the bread of life."
2. "I am the good shepherd."
3. "I am the resurrection and the life."
4. "I am the way, the truth, and the life."
5. "I am the true vine."
6. "I am the door."
7. "I am the light of the world."
*I have had the same experience with people having snarling faces my whole life. Ever since I was young I've been messed with and attacked by people with snarling faces. It used to bother me but then I realized (over time), it's because the darkness (demons) does not like the Light. I carry the Light and always have so what I realized was people of the darkness want to attack, feed off of, or snuff out the Light when they see it in somebody...*
I had a similar experience - Tortured by demonic spirits when i first got saved; day in and out for about 7 months. Demonic dreams, voices in my head telling me i blasphemed The Holy Spirit and a supernatural feeling of spiritual darkness in my room at night..
It finally ended with me quoting scripture and realizing what was taking place.
So yah- I can relate to his story..

You are So right to bring this area of reality up into awareness and conversation. The Church is weak in understanding the spiritual realm, the warfare, and as you said, who we are in Christ. Jesus shares His Authority with His children, we are seated with Him in Christ... So amazing!! And this is SO THAT we can bring the Victorious power of Christ into people's lives and circumstances here on earth!
I had a similar exsperience, the fear in the spirit is beyond compression, you will run to the lord for protection.
Twice in my life I've woke up late in the night surrounded by pure evil. I started praying and calling on God and the evil disappeared and i went right back to sleep. I didnt realize this was demonds i dont know what i thought. Im glad i have God to protect me. I dont know why this happened.
I’m just curious, why do you think you were surrounded by pure evil? Did you see something? Were you able to move?
@@strykerhero994 didn't see anything but it woke me up from a dead sleep and the evil was there the room was heavy with it. I didn't tell anyone for a long time. I felt paralyzed.

Love your guests and Mr dabbs is correct about the demonic stares. You see if you carry the light of Jesus Christ in you and they're going to respond to you because today it's like Jesus walking up... Some will run in terror some will give you ugly mean stares but from a distance. However you have complete authority and control over all of them through the blood and name of Jesus Christ... But it's a real spiritual thing especially if you're filled with the holy Spirit
I had a similar experience of being choked by a pair of hands they looked blue in colour and felt cold against my neck. I grabbed the hands and yanked them away from me and said, "get away from me you demon from hell" and sure enough the hands vanished. I looked over at my then husband who was fast asleep in the bed next to me and he didn't hear a thing. I have had several other encounters while I was married and later on in my relationship with a former partner. Both my ex husband and former partner had dealings with what we call obeah or the occult. They both have family members who deals with these dark forces on behalf of others or for themselves. Only after my relationships ended, did I get the full understanding of why I was being attacked in this way. I was laying with dogs and catching their fleas! We should be careful of the company we keep, I have come to understand that the very people that live around me, some are very mixed up with the occult and obeah and it's growing in interest the younger generations are getting into this stuff without even realising it. New Age is a gateway to these encounters and it's popular, with celebrities too!
Call on Jesus have a real Christian partner and no intimacy until married.

It is not a question of preference, it’s a question about being spiritually and knowledgeably more prepared and knowing the right words to say and Priests definitely have that much more than regular people who has no knowledge or spiritual preparation to face something as serious as an evil thing !!

Imagine what the earth is going to be like when the restrainer is removed. We don't have much time left to know the word, memorize scripture and build our relationship with Jesus Christ. Psalm 91 is a must know even if you cannot memorize the entire thing, try your best to know as much of it as possible. Remember that Matthew 17:21 was removed for a reason. The devil doesn't want you to know how to defend yourself and help others. There is a great book by John Ramirez called Fire Prayers that I purchased a few weeks ago and it is great. An ex-occultist knows the enemy's strategies and knows how to fight back! I will be purchasing this gentleman's book as well. This knowledge is a part of our armour.

Thank you Sean for giving credibility to this subject by opening it up for discussion. Thank you Steve for boldly addressing this topic. As a young girl, I often "saw things" that no one else could or would see. When I tried to describe them, I was told I was just dreaming. I can't explain what exactly was different, but I knew when I was dreaming and when I wasn't. Little ceramic figurine "angels" would dance and try to draw me into a conversation. They were so pretty and elegant. I wanted to engage but something inside me said I shouldn't.
As an adult, I would have visions of horrible things that were about to happen and I just dismissed the thought until I later realized that they were happening in real time. The Columbine massacre. 9/11. Others more personal. I learned that during those times I needed to stop what I was doing and pray. So maybe not demonic, but God calling His warriors to prayer. But life got busy and I soon stopped having the visions. Makes me sad, now, to think that perhaps God knew it wasn't worth giving me a vision because He knew I wouldn't take the time to pray.
But then my firstborn child started seeing things at a very young age like roaring lions and slithering snakes....while he was fully awake, at least as far as we could tell. Other parents tried to give us helpful advice like giving our son a bottle of "magic" water to spray on the threatening creatures. Uh, yeah, no. Just no. I believed my son and knew he needed more than an impotent magic potion.
When I read Psalm 8:2 I knew it was the tool each of our children could use against satan and demons: "From the lips of infants and children, you have ordained praise, to silence the foe and enemy." We taught our children that if they were praising God, the demons would have to be silent and in fact, flee.
Our son continued to see things well into his teen years, but he had the tools to make them go away. And no, he is not schizophrenic.
Praise the Lord. Good is good.
God is good. And His loving kindness ensure forever.

I've read and experienced much in this area, but will prob buy this book. I've always wondered how the early church and the ancient Hebrews dealt with this. Also learning about more experiences are always helpful. Thanks for great interview!
