in the new acc, do you resume where the game is left off or it reset to a new game. Example I made a new acc for my lil brother to play pokemon sword but I had already played it, does my brother continue where I left off or does he play the game from the beginning?

After making the new user it tells me to link the Nintendo Account. When I do so it says it’s already linked to this account please chose another. I’m trying to add a third switch to the family and am struggling. I had no issues adding the second but this third I’m stuck.
