- In this episode of the Vintage Downhill Podcast we catch up with Alex Morgan of Buffalo Composite Designs. A self taught engineer, bike builder and downhiller; Alex - along with his brother Hawke - has been designing, building and racing carbon downhill bikes since the early 1990's. Innovating such things as the "2X4" multi-pivot bikes, internally geared DH bikes and the worlds first 29'er downhill bikes - all full carbon and handmade by Alex and BCD. Today Alex is living the dream with his wife and ranch animals in New Mexico. Still riding, racing and promoting. Check out his gravel series at
