WOWOWOWOWOW!!! Super-Fantabulous views!! Yep, there's Lake Almanor. And there's Lassen Peak. And Klamath Lake. And Mt. Bachelor. And Broken Top. And the Three Sisters. And Mt. Washington. And Three-Fingered Jack. And Mt. Jefferson. And Mt. Hood. And Mt. Adams. GREAT view of Rainier!! That's the most glaciated mountain in the entire 48 states. Well, it would include Hawaii too. Only Alaska has mountains more glaciated. And there's Glacier Peak. And there's Mt. Baker and the North Cascades. One of these days, you're going to need to do some of the hikes in North Cascades NP. They're the most rugged peaks in the Continental US and they have a large share of the glaciers in WA State. Also, head to Artist Point on Mt. Baker. You'll have a super-fantastic view of the glaciers of North Cascades and of Mt. Baker. Artist Point and Hurricane Ridge over in the Olympics are the 2 most scenic mountain views in WA State that are accessible by car. The views will BLOW YOUR MIND. Good view of Birch Bay and Drayton Harbor and Semiahoo. About 4 years ago in December, a storm hit this resort hard and flooded it BIG TIME. There's White Rock. Love the views of the Coast Mountains. They're in a whole class and league by themselves, very different from the rest of the Cascades. Well, my GF got her flu shot and her arm is sore. But she got the regular adult dose, unlike me, who got the High Dose which is 4 times stronger, having 4 times the antigens. I never asked for it. The pharmacist made that decision for me. I didn't know this until I got home and looked at the receipt and paperwork and there was no doubt that I got the super-strong version of this vaccine. My GF only got a flu shot. I got both the flu and the new covid shot that the health experts and CDC keep telling everyone to go get regardless of their age. I got the Moderna, which is supposed to be more powerful and hits you harder with the side effects, but for me, they were a bare minimum. I make sure my vitamin D levels are good and this makes a BIG difference. Dr. Fauci takes vitamin D supplements regularly which probably explains how he was able to get his covid shots with very little by the way of side effects even though he was 80. I don't do vitamin D supplements at all. I rely on sunlight and foods rich in it. If you DO take a supplement, make sure it has sulfates in it. Or eat some sulfur rich foods like eggs, asparagus, cabbage, etc. The sulfates is what helps your body metabolize the vitamin D. Vitamin D without sulfates is a no go. Anyhow, another fine hit. Keep winning those Gold Medals.
Some great views in this flight - thank you! Also glad that you got to do a bunch of flights into and out of YVR. I am biased as this is my home airport, but I really do think it is an amazing airport and we are lucky here. It is a pleasure to travel through every time.
There you go again absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage compilation travel trip reports and hand down hats off to you my friend ! .. beautiful sharing upload and share ! .. TQSM
I remember once flying to Mexico, and we had strong tailwinds out of YVR along the coast and were over Los Angeles in only 95 minutes. Talk about fast. At one point, we were going over 645 mph !! Yikes ......🇨🇦 proudly !!
This is a superb video. This was not recorded recently right? Sacramento valley looks a little too green and last time I flew past the Cascade volcanoes in summer, they weren't quite that snowy. This route of flight seemed to take you right over both Mt. Shasta and Mt. St. Helens because they were the only major volcanoes not seen.
That wasn't as long as I thought it would be, and I'll bet you really enjoyed it, too. My mother loved going from Seattle to Vancouver via Friday Harbor, and if you haven't tried that one yet, you might want to when it gets a bit warmer. Of course, there may be some warmer times still left this year, but I'm sure you'll want to plan this one for next year. I think it'll be well worth it. Please let me know what you think.
Friday Harbor and the San Juan Islands are some of my favorite places. I have gone from Seattle to Friday Harbor several times over the years, although I always gone by boat. Usually adding on the wildlife cruse as well as I love encountering the resident pods of Orca. Featuring a flight from Seattle to Friday Harbor on a float plane is on my list though.
Yes, I did. I'm super happy as I have MVP Gold with Alaska and that gives me Oneworld Sapphire status as well. Once they integrate, that means my Alaska MVP Gold status will transfer to Hawaiian as Oneworld Sapphire and I won't have to keep status on Hawaiian now too. More statistically speaking this had to happen or Hawaiian was going to go bankrupt, so I don't think it was ever in question, even though this current administration and their DOJ isn't too cooperation and merger friendly.
Hey if you want I can post a reply or send you a PM detailing exactly what's going on during pushback and start and taxi, what all those noises are that you hear. I'm tempted to do it anyways but don't want to do so if no one is going to appreciate it. I haven't flown the 320 family but I am typed in 3 families of airliners and they all more or less work the same.
I'm at my house right now, and have been for over a week. I upload every day, but I don't fly every day. In fact, I'm home 2/3rds of every month. I fly just to film the flights for the channel, so I often fly 3, 4, 5 segments per day. My record for one single day is 8. By filming as much as I can every day I fly, I can get enough footage to post every day without having to fly every day. I fly roughly 8-10 days per month.
Well, I don't know for sure but I wouldn't think so. I mean we had good weather the whole way, the plane was just going back to SFO, and it's really not that long of flight regardless. I can't imagine United has up ferrying fuel around. Which would be the primary culprit for a lot of added weight on a flight like this. But who know. Thanks for watching!
If you've ever flown into or out of DIA, you'll know that it is not surrounded by water. And neither is Ontario, for that matter. Are you on something?
@@LeeDfined I'm partial towards United too, but keeping their planes in tip top visual condition is not their strong suit 😂. Remember, there was a time when United was running around with 4 different liveries at the same time because they're so slow at repainting their planes.
Love that CF56 engine start sound. The spiraling wine of N2 spinning up followed by the rumble of N1 spin up.
UA A320s are IAE powered
@@aaronseymour2135 I stand corrected. An awesome sound nonetheless.
Snecma Safron,Rolls_Royce,General Electric,Pratt &Whitney,IAE's Forever!!!
Such a beautiful approach into YVR. One of my favorite cities to visit. Such a gorgeous city.
I agree. Vancouver is one of my favorite places to visit.
Merci c’est très agréable d’écouter cet avion 🤭🤗
Love the takeoffs from San Fran ❤

I flew on that exact route back in 2017 except it was a 319 not a 320! Love this video! Such a beautiful approach into YVR, as was already mentioned.

I love Vancouver. Luckily I have a brother that lives there, so I get to visit a couple times a year.

Flown this route many times with United , Air Canada , Alaska and even Qantas on the mighty 747.
Flying it on a 747 would've been awesome!
That GE90 engine startup...omg I can feel it in my body from the screen lol great vid Bryce!
Thanks my friend! Glad you enjoyed it!
It’s an IAE…
@@AsNetwork Oh…it is? I could have swore that is a GE90 startup lol I don’t think the IAE is that loud on engine start.

Haha 204 will be flight number to SFO not this Saturday but the Following Saturday. Its a 777-200
I’m pretty sure he pre records his videos rn that flight number it’s using it 737’s that flight was recorded on may 8 of 2024 05/08/2024. ☺️

18:32 no barks after the Yellow Electric Pump? Interesting.

This is not a flight from Denver to Ontario. The title is correct. This is a flight from SFO-YVR.

53:10 Mount Shasta at its finest
Tape on the flaps is eye sore.
Have you seen most of United's fleet? 😂
@sla31 now you know I'm impartial to United.

Tape is better than seeing the frayed and peeling aluminum strip beneath. A320 flaps get pretty beat up in that area.
