As far as people thinking that the figures are too cluttered I personally don't believe that especially depending on how it's done because it reminds me of some of those Marvel and DC paintings where you have all of the villains or all of the superheroes all in a row and it's all about how you display them together that truly counts but it looks god

Happy New Year Keco! It looks amazing! There's something appealing to the eye with the "cube" spaces of detolf cause it looks curated in a way. BUT the space you get by using a makeshift moducase is what I absolutely love. Especially if you want to do teams like you said.

Great collection Keco. P.S their is a hole in the front of the mark 46 civil war neck. you could plug the collar so that the collar will go all the way down just like in the movie.

Will my hats off to you and your new collection room it looks great very well placed love the texture that you put into it I know it was a hard job to do I am currently in the works of building my collection room and I have to tell you I wish and I think they should be doing this by now because different companies watch TH-cam they see these channels and I think they need to provide more collection shows out there that you not only can buy online but it's also in stores as well instead of the proverbial detox or Machu cases and they should be creating more shows that are for statues and for sixth scale figures then collectors now and then substituting but what you've done looks great

Great collection update Keco! I’m actually surprised you don’t have a Wonder Woman or Superman in your collection! But it looks like you’re just sticking with Batman when it comes do DC which I can respect. I mostly have Batman figures (for my DC collection that is) and only have the WB100 Wonder Woman as the other DC hero at the moment. But I do have the Superman from InArt on preorder, and The Flash from the new film. That’s as far as I’m going into other DC properties. Can’t wait to see how your collection evolves!

Thanks for checking it out and joining the hobby! It's definitely depending on where you live. Higher humidity areas could cause problem, but I live in a high humidity area and use AC at my house and have had zero issues
Love all the figures man. Sure some cases look a little cluttered but nonetheless this is an awesome collection. Basically all my favorite shows and movies. I wish I could afford this kind of collection really looks awesome ! Happy new year brother !

I used to do Diecast cars for a bit when I was really into NASCAR. Sweet stuff!
Is there a way you can mitigate mold if you're storing your boxes on top of the shelf? I don't have enough space in my house to store those beautiful collection boxes. I don't want to trash them either, I would rather keep them, but I'm afraid it will get mold anytime soon, any suggestion would help
Dehumidifier I suppose? Unless you have a humid environment and moisture gettin in them, I don't see it being a problem
I actually don't mind the density so long as it's enjoyed. Good mixture of vehicles, scales and posing. Ghostbusters is still fantastic but the Back to the Future and Batman (Tumble, Batpod, Armory, Signal; all great) displays look great to me with the vehicles being available for viewing as well.

Love it brother! Looks 🔥 and so much more space. I’m a fan of your Detolf display, but with how large your collection got this is the only logical evolution. I think we all go from book cases to detolfs to custom displays eventually 😂
I actually went from 6 inch to Hot Toys back to 6 inch because I missed the hunt and now I’ve swung back to Hot Toys haha. Don’t know if I want to sell the 6 inch or try to find a way to make both work. Very tough to collect both, so I will most likely lock into Sixth Scale since they are my favorite.
I remember the hunt... it used to be fun lol. Then I got mad that I'd miss some - so I went to 1/6 and started missing those exclusives 😂

Wow definitely a very large collection, great idea with the shelving too. Not trying to be an hater though but for me I always thought an important part of collecting and displaying hot toys was not about what you buy, it’s mainly about what you don’t buy. You’re right that it is your collection so to each their own but if I had all those figures I would focus on trimming the fat (weaker less desirable figures) which is about 40% for me and then concentrate on your poses and positioning. Your collection could be amazing (which I’m sure you think is) but when I say amazing I mean one of the best on TH-cam. Please don’t take any offence.

Great 👍 👌 😊video 📹... question? I'm doing the garage shelf case also... My last missing piece is the glass...😢 I bought magnets and was thinking of the acrylic glass...any suggestions 🤔? I don't know where to look to get the acrylic glass and get the size I want once I measured it. I also don't know what glue to get 😕? I was trying to find a good glue that glues to metal and acrylic? I was also wondering 🤔 how you dust proof and what to look for?

How are the acrylic pieces mounted? Are they magnetic? Did your acrylics provider add magnets? Is it pretty dust proof? I have a Moducase but I need to add more and I’m not confident in being able to make these look as good as yours turned out.
It's magnetic tape applied around the acrylic. I added vinyl borders around the piece (hardest part honestly) and then added the magnet tape. And yes, it's about 90% dust proof. Pop Culture Living Room and Posing with Peter are the tutorials I followed

Wanted to ask, besides Sideshow do you have nay recommendations on where to purchase 6th scale figures? I have heard Ebay and Mercari are good.Have your ear purchased form them? Thank you!
I have purchased almost 1/3 of my entire collection off eBay. If you can get a good deal, the seller is always the beneficiary.
If you are stateside, DO NOT buy from overseas. You will regret it. Try local comic shops and see if they ship (or visit them)

I followed Pop Culture Living Room and Posing with Peter tutorials. But I'm happy to provide what I used -- most came from Amazon, including the lights. Shelves were from Lowe's
What got you into collecting. How do you keep your collection dust free I’m a New York giants collector so the only toys I have in my collection are funko pops of giants players and I have some starting lineup figures of New York giants players from the 80’s. I keep all my funkos and starting lineup figures in the box.
I've collected since I was around 5 ... but Hot Toys was from doing Photography. They were a lot of fun to play with. My cabinets are fairly dust proofed so that works for me

Bought the acrylic sheets from local plastic store and cut to size, then I fitted them with vinyl borders and magnets.

Where does collecting specific characters/series end, and, collecting everything just to have a huge collection start? Where’s the line between collecting what you love and collecting to impress? You’re a content creator, so you’re under different circumstances. But for the layman collector?
Fair question - and perhaps i can explain better in a video. As I've stated before , I've collected something since I was 5 and I always had a "completionist" mindset and have always wanted full lines. Even if I stopped making videos, I'd still collect and have a lot of them. But that's just me -- for the "average" person though, it really comes down to personal taste I think. Some people like clean, well posed displays - others like a large group. So whatever YOU like, decide and STICK TO IT. I def am going to need to explain further in a video lol.
