Interesting tip with the superglue, I may try it. I've been using wd40 specialist dry ptfe spray on the male joints. Probably a less permanent option, the film lasts a while and I just re-apply it when needed.
I alway use wd40 to clean my pole sections Beware not to use it on top kits though, it melts away at the elastics , Great video, Wd40 is a great item for using on pva ,zips,etc Alway clean my pole with it, Brings the sections back to life, Great for tackle boxes too, especially black ones, Use it for all my rods and reels too... Great item wd40
@Neil Halley hi Neil I've just googled is wd40 OK for carbon fishing pole sections, It's come back that it's OK, Is there something I should go on, as I've googled intensively and can't see anything

I've been using baby wipes on my poles for years. Think I will use WD40 from now on. Thanks for the video.

Kirk I think Neil is refering to carbon bicycles.
Been using wd40 for yrs cleaning poles, no issues.
So have I....lol
I always clean my poles with it, have done so for 20 odd years
