Bandai gave Dynames, Kyrios and Virtue/Nadleeh justice. I am so glad that they did that. I own the regular MG Exia and I really hope that Bandai would give it a 2.0 revision because it has some issues. Don't get me wrong, it looks good but not that articulate & functional. I want to complete the four of them and that includes the new Exia, hopefully.

Built it with no proper tools(I did already have some light sandpaper and I collect knives so it was easy removing some nubs), and now I have an MG Epyon, my favorite Gundam ever, on the way. Thank you for bringing me back into what I used to love.

Back in the day Wing wasn't shown on readily available UK channels so the only thing i ever saw of Gundam was the kits and figures my brother had. Didn't see anything else Gundam related until some years later when i discovered a Transformers/Gundam crossover photocomic, but i didn't know who any of the MS were, aside from the ones my brother had. It wasn't until i rediscovered and read through that comic in 2014 that i actively looked for Gundam videos and eventually models. Starting with a Sandrock Custom as he was the main character amongst the Gundam faction, though i ended up buying the 1/144 kit when the comic used the 1/100 as I didn't know there was even a difference back then but i learned quickly. Hmmm.... A thought occurs. Out of all the four other 3rd generation GN Gundams the Nadleeh looks the closest to the Exia's body type that I think you could kit bash it with the old Exia armor to make a 1.5 MG.
The only permanent downsides is the exia's hands, and shoulders. Everything else is fixable. I have no idea how they'd fix the shoulders, so that's probably why we haven't seen a 2.0 yet. So, maybe just use the nad's arms on exia's body?
@@XaadeTheBlade Not certain but you'd have to rig the entire torso armor and shoulders onto the GN Frame. The other big change would be the calf condensers.
The kyrios at the back is a nice callback from S01E01 when both gundams are stopping terrorists at the top of the space elevator where the VIP party was held. That's where virtue overkilled one of the terrorists with the GN hyper bazooka.
For whatever it's worth, they released the MG Perfectibility Unicorn 11 months before the MGEX Unicorn - there's some precedent for a variant getting released shortly before a remake.
Oh the amount of money I'm willing to spend of they make a proper mg of the Arios. I've been wanting them to make one for YEARS but tbh I don't see happening anytime soon

Hey Mecha, have you heard of Susan Model? They made Repair III conversion kits based on the Dynames RIII Metal Build that are compatible with the MG Dynames, Exia, and related kits such as the Astraea, which come in green, black, white, red, & blue. And while I haven't built my MG Virtue/Nadleeh yet, it seems to be compatible with the Nadleeh, judging by the manual. The unused part, B29, can be used to mount the RIII front skirts, and the area where the GN Drive goes in looks like the conversion kit's back pack can fit in there too without much fuss. So if you get a white RIII kit, you could make a Nadleeh Repair. Also, 2 GN Bazookas & 4 GN Shields!
Can the GN wires be cut off of the Nadleeh? Customizing the hair to the point where it can be posed would be very nice; using wires in red plastic sleeves.

I honestly couldn’t care less about the Nadleeh,I just think that it with Virtue armor looks infinitely cooler than the Nadleeh. I really hope we get an MG Gundam Virtue Physical at some point.
I don’t think we need a full 2.0 exia but maybe a upgrade kit. Most the complaints with the original are all things u can isolate to fix like the ankles and hips

For the hair, I am wondering if it would be better if they are made from thin hookup wires. They are insulated with coloured elastomer coating and the thinnest I can find are 0.5mm thick.
i really wish bandai would release these armored-up 2-in-1 kits without the armor, even if as p-bandai This thing, as well as kits like the Duel and the Thunderbolt FA have such sexy, sexy kits when stripped down, but the armor makes up so much plastic that it feels like a waste to discard it.
I pre ordered this from HLJ, and they didnt fulfill my pre order. Its sitting in the queue and just says "currently out of stock". Guessing a lot of people ordered two of them.
Honestly thought they would do rubber parts for the hair... The plastic looks great, but couldn't they just use the same mold with rubber? Bandai be slacking.
Please be Exia 2.0 I can't afford MGEX. Sure I can save, but as a budget collector, had to spend a lot of money just to get one kit is too much for me. I can bought two or three MG kits with MGEX prices
With the Exia repair III being previously released and the Astraea just now going on preorder in Japan, I doubt there will be a Exia 2.0 but a MGEXia could be a possibility.
Faulos would be nice but Rebake or the whole Gusion series needs to have its solo MG suit and not borrowed parts, it had the shorter end of the stick for IBO gundams
I saw a preview of the Virtue awhile back that showed a sort of stand or attachment system that allows the unit to be displayed casting off the Virtue armour. Is that included, or was that a custom thing for display?
I’m hoping we get a 2.0 Exia before they start season 2 suits, whether it’s MGEX or a standard 2.0. Even a VerKa would be awesome if Bandai and Katoki branch out from UC and AC suits
I already have a NG 1/100 virtue/Nadleeh and I would really want an MG. I already had a fix on those hair cables by replacing it with strands of thread allowing the head to have more articulation and incorporating the hairs on the virtue armor without removing them. And they do look good when blown away by the wind.

Iirc you have to remove it to put the armor on, so I think you can customize the GN wires alone.

If you don't mind the hair stuck in one pose, a little application of a hair dryer will make them malleable enough to pose.
