- Twisters marks the standalone sequel to Twister, 28 years in the making.
Twister 2 headlines Daisy Edgar-Jones as 'Kate Cooper', presumably the daughter of Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton's characters. Top Gun: Maverick's Glen Powell and In The Heights' Anthony Ramos star as the male leads opposite Edgar-Jones.
Brandon Perea, Maura Tierney, David Corenswet, and Kiernan Shipka also star. Oscar-nominated Lee Isaac Chung (Minari) directs Twisters; and it hits theaters July 12.

I think I will watch this in theater. The visual effects are fantastic, plus from the reviews, it seemed people had a good time watching this movie
I've been trying to avoid the reviews so far, which is unusual for me! Normally, I prefer knowing spoilers BEFORE hand... Lol...
