Depends on your market and how good you are at selecting orders. I was making over $1,000 a week doing Doordash in Montana and now do the same in Canada 10,000 deliveries later. Only advice I would say is get a cheap car that won't depreciate much so your only big expense will be gas.
@@edwinroyal9734I would say get a cheap electric or hybrid especially a Hyundai because they have a full warranty on everything for like 10 years I think but I could be wrong

Thank you for not listing food delivery- I did it off and on for nearly 5 years and even in that short time it’s gotten to be so trash. The rates were terrible by the end and the tips basically dried up, not to mention gas and wear and tear on the car. Nothing but $3 wingstop orders with no tip 🙃
Too bad it's no good where you live. I'll keep doing food Delivery as long as I keep making $5,000 a month.

Hi Vivian, first of all I think you are awesome and thank you for sharing your tips. I’m from the UK and I’m 39 I’ve been quite bad with money. I’m autistic and ADHD so money was never really great with me but I got diagnosed later in life, so I didn’t have a good safety nets in the good teachings from the beginning. Is there anything you can suggest for me please I do everything as early as I can as soon as I get a paycheck so I know whatever is left his mind for the month and does your voice be helpful with the UK or is there some UK specific things you can suggest?

Hi there, please correct me if I am wrong, as I am learning all of this with you, yes making more money is always great,I mean we are called “generation debt” for reason but isn’t there a break even point physically and mentally speaking ? As the Notorious B.I.G. once said “Mo’ Money Mo’ problems” at some point you’ll have to pay taxes to Uncle Sam on that extra side hustle. At least legally speaking, unless you want to risk not being eligible for SSI benefits down the line(extreme case, but should be considered) Does it make even make sense to make that trade off of time/energy with your regular 9-5 job? Since financial planning is NOT one size fits all kinda deal I am assuming maybe having a side hustle in which it doesn’t raise you into a higher tax bracket? But again at that point, wouldn’t you just want to get into a new hobby instead? Do something better with your time? I know some people don’t have that option but just wanted to have a friendly discussion on that point.
I can totally understand your point on physical and mental health issues. I believe it really depends on the person if they're willing to give up their free time to work more or spend it recuperating from their full-time job. I like to think that the main purpose of a side hustle is to allow a person to earn more so that they can achieve their financial goals faster.
The thing with the tax bracket is definitely something to consider carefully as well.
Remember that if you move into a higher tax bracket, the increased rate only applies to the money you made above the threshold. You're not suddenly on the hook for way more taxes by making $1 over the limit. So "I'll have to pay more in taxes" isn't a good reason to avoid making money, as you keep most of it.
@@institches2750 this👆🏽look for her video where she explains tax brackets. Moving into a higher tax bracket means that only the additional money is taxed higher.
For benefits making above a certain limit can disqualify you. So definitely check if that’s your situation.
Oh yeah the snitch got me one time. I saw him looking at another car wondering what he was doing. When i saw the ticket i wondered why he didn't just tell me i couldn't park there since i saw him watch me drive in without stoping to pay. Now i know.

I've sold things on Marketplace and bought some too. What I've found is in my area buyers want great stuff at a rock bottom price.
After a long waiting period I end up giving it away for free
Not to mention the scammers, the people who say their coming to buy something and don't show up
