Absolutely geeked by how many videos you’re putting out. I’m a newer painter going heavy into this style so i couldn’t be more pleased. Keep up the good work man
I really like both methods shown here, but the silver one is my favourite. They look way better than the official GW paint schemes. I really need to try those wax based metallic paints. Thanks for sharing!
So I've done a thing with the Villainy inks where after my cleanup, i go through with some of Super Dorks metallic paints. Since their paints are basically a transparent metallic, they really bring out that wash step. Layering it up gives a really nice, almost grimey chrome look to the model.
LETS GO! Freaking pumped! No one knows how the youtube algo works, and I am sure unit painting and army painting probably is not the most artistically stimulating thing, but I really appreciate the volume and type of vids. Going to have to finish it this evening but I just wanted to say THANK YOU!
Amazing work as always and thank you for explaining the true metal tubes. So glad you hav3 delved into AOS. If I may, can I suggest/ ask/ request Dark Oath and/or daughters of Khaine? Cheers dude!🤘🏻
By far the best grim dark stormcast eternals! The real scratches are so good... Your vids deserve way more views! I told you that on our first vid, and it is still the truth!
When it comes to gold I tend to prefer Vince Venturella's recipe for golds. It will airbrush, brush and drybrush on really nicely and look fantastic. The only bad part about it is it requires a lot of preparation to get it right and can be a bit messy (if you're not careful with the gold pigment powder). I haven't had a chance to try the Villainy Inks on it yet, but this video definitely got me wanting to do a test piece with it.
If it's the one I think you're referring to: 2 parts vallejo metal colour copper, 1 part vallejo metal colour gold, and enough green stuff world antique gold pigment mixed in to bring it all together. Been my default gold for quite a while now. But I've started using a slight variant of this, as the thinness of the original mix is great for airbrushing, but separates way too quickly when I want to brush it on. My variant is Pro Acryl Bronze, 1 drop of vallejo metal colour copper, and then the GSW antique gold pigment. It's a much thicker paint and is far more precise with brushwork. It's a slightly different tone on the palette, but I painted them side by side on a mini and couldn't tell the difference.
Hi love your videos ❤ KitbashCarnage hear at the age of 31 iv recently got back into the warhammer/kitbashing community agen after taking 15year brake to pay bills and so on . I have taken the leap head on and started a youtube channel along with Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok. It's hard with this algorithm thing is somthing to get used to along with editing and so on but my love and the flame for my lost passion has been reignited more then ever and dont plan on stopping soon . Along with having lots of content plans and already in the pipeline and also a Revamp to all social media with new header picture and profile picture from a digital contractor I sorced I hope to just gain more traction to the community iv came back to 🔥 Regards KitbashCarnage
Awesome tutorial as always! Just started my stormcast army. A word of warning for the Ak Metals, they react to white spirits so make sure your white spirits are dry before you put on the true metals. I learned it the hard way 😂✌️
Definitely trying those AK true metals for some grimdark Iron Warriors, also Necro gold is like THE fundemental gold for grimdark imo, its such a lovely colour
Question I have seen that some use an old airbrush needle to scratch the paint. I am painting a brunch of Drukharis their armor is tiny compared to space Marines or stormcast. Would a sowing needle be better suited for the job of skratcing the armor?? Also while neither gold or silver "rusts" it will develop a tarnish over time. From what I gather tarnished silver will develop either a black or brown coating. While gold will develop a reddish brown tint. From what I have been able to read you can't use pure silver or gold for armor or jewlery. Its simply too soft of a metal. So it will often be mixed with other metals to make it more sterdy. Depending on the metal, the tarnish might develop a different color.
Very inspiring! What do you think... 1. Spray runebrass lord 2. Dry brush lighter metallic 3. Heavy shade with goons grime... Could you give some guidance? What do you suggest? I would like to speed up the process because I will painting the whole army. Cheers and thanks
7:29 Tallasar Blue is less pigmented than most other Contrast paints, so I don't think it's your pot. Also the transparent blue over metal looks way better than an opaque blue. Great shout!
I'll be saving this for when I need to do some Sang guard! Awesome work as always! A question for your thoughts as I haven't seen anything in your vids so far, how would you do a black armour miniature such as a BT or Death company marine?
Your tutorials are absolutely insane dude, I love how you introduce new products. Those AK real metals look dope! I drop a significant Element Games order at the end of each month, I'll be sure to use your affiliate link this month. Do you have your crystals code so you can get some points too? Keep up the great work, I will be trying this out in a few weeks :)
@@TheFeralPainter hell yea. I got you 🤙🏻. I’m trying to brain unscramble the Ork Knob into the Skaven gattling McBlast-yo-@$$ model. Maybe you will get there before my box makes it to the states 🙏🏻😂

Yea a pin would work. Also dont worry too much about accurate weathering. If u want rust then paint it ☺️ all about having fun

Hopefully soon
The models are awesome, stunning work mate. 🤟 a bit to clean for me, but as always great work.😊
Glad you like them!

Thanks, will do!

What is the advantage of airbrushing the enamel over brushing it on? Speed, nice overall thin coat?
Yes speed and a nice even coverage. Its just something i prefer
Pls do black templars drybrush method, i love youre painting style. I subbed as fast as possible.
If its the drybrush method u want then:
Black prime. Drybrush ak smoke then ak ask grey done 😉😉 no video needed
Great channel excellent paint jobs could you do a grim dark tutorial on plague marines
