It's really sad what happened to Keith, but I'll give him this...he's lucky to have made it through what he has been through. As we see he's very bright and he speaks very fast here and also quite shy, but I kind of get the impression he looked for a challenge.

He still sounds very bright, it's just that his habits and age have had a lifetime's of effect upon his vocal chords and voice. Habits, or not, this happens to mostly anyone over the course of a long lifetime.

You can see he's a little insecure and shy, and impatient with the questions. Very matter of fact. Drugs obviously helped relax his anxieties and gave him an identity or persona he could hide behind. He's so innocent here, though a little "hard."

I kind of got the impression the interviewer was irritating Keith a bit. After the interviewer said something about the Stones' image as being a 'scruffy group', if you listen closely you can hear Keith mumble something as if he felt a bit embarrassed by the question. Also, I heard Keith was pretty shy so that's why he had to repeat answers, because the interviewer couldn't hear him

It's later on in his life and it's hilarious 😂 I thought this was it but evidently not. If I find it I'll come back and post the link, its a good laugh.

Keith's voice has altered through the years. This is a very rare interview and its interesting to hear him in 65...he was still shy.... a few years later his voice sounded much more a part of the cultured London society from hanging around with the elite....then in the 70s he sounded international and spoke slowly....and from the 80s onwards he's managed to find a wheezy cackle to bookend almost everything he says

My thoughts. Keith sounding exactly like you'd expect a working class lad to sound who grew up on the fringe of London re: Dartford. It's known now as "Estuary English". In contrast to Brian Jones' very middle class accent of the period. Not sure about Mick's "Well alright" nasal English. Keith was by all accounts quite shy in his youth and perhaps fame and attention did not sit well with him to begin with. Hence some irritation here. 55 years later, fame, booze, cigs, living in America, and mixing with all types...has shaped his accent and that "laugh" is perhaps a hangover from the early shyness. I would put good money on him being the most changed living Stone or ex-Stone in personality. Charlie and Bill largely the same, Mick T too, Ronnie an extension of his early self...and Mick (so they say) having several personalities to suit the occasion.
