I've yet to hear a bad interview from Mick. Such an absolute well-spoken, brilliant, man. And each of the Stones is up to par, which is huge.

What great interview, though short he really let the interviewer have a peek in his world. I love how he acknowledges the fact Beatles are good musically but he doesn't like them. I hold the same view. I know their worth musically speaking, but somehow I identify them with silly jingle-like refrains or cheesy pop songs. The Stones are very sentimental but there's a different flavour to that sentimentalism, it never gets even close to be cloying predictable or repetitive or cliché.

Keith playing in the background proves to be rather distracting, in a good way. Charlie means business and he's not having someone else's song play during the Stones' radio time!! Well done and what a great pick!

What a beautiful natural voice Keith has got! How did he not get more involved in singing from the get go I wonder? And this is the clearer and more at ease I have heard him talk so far, from that era. Very articulate and cool, utterly fascinating.

Very poised, soft spoken and gifted with a seemingly cristalline yet warm thought process and eloquence. A pleasure to listen to. His remarks on music and even more about Elvis Presley are truly remarkable, straightforward but not offensive or rude, backed up by grounded artistic reasons. These dudes where each on their own real stars, both as per their artistic and personal lives, who met for no coincidence. And I include Ian Stewart in the number. All born for greatness. If only!

wow I thought this recording was slowed down but actually Keith's voice had a lower pitch than the one we are used to hear. drugs and booze had a strong effect to it.

Soft Voice, yeah love the song you are playing. Miss that sound today in 2024.The Radio Stations dont play that music anymore. What you hear today is a shame they all think of themselfs as big stars. Its impossible for me to listen to that crab. The times they are a changing.

Brian was a true rock star before the term became diluted. His star burned bright hot but fizzled out too soon. He was the founding father of The Rolling Stones but unfortunately, he was also the founding father of the 27 Club. R.I.P.

Mick Jagger always knows he's the star of any room he's been in (unless John or Paul were in that room). It's kind of crazy how Mick's demeanor changes whenever he was in the presence of John particularly. In every video where they're together, Mick tends to yield and look up to John, which is rare for Mick, because hes a born frontman. The same can't be said about Bob Dylan tho. Bob Dylan is always the king around whoever hes with (even if it's just in his own mind).

Klas Burling - the interviewer - sadly passed away a few months ago. He was very sharp and.knew a lot about pop music. He surprised both the Beatles and the Stones with his questions, which were respectful and not inane. They weren't really used to that!

RIP Brian Jones. The more I look into him, the Stones, the music industry as a whole, especially in the 60’s: damn. The surviving Stones trash Brian as difficult, morose. But the Beatles loved him, he was brilliant, talented (loves classical music), played something like 65 instruments, and drowned in his own pool, and everyone is willing to accept an excellent swimmer like Brian drowned due to his own negligence (drugs & liquor). What a crock. As I pull back the veneer of shiny lights, rock n roll, and the jet set lifestyle, the reality is starting to come into view.

Correct. He did not have an upper class twit British accent (lucky him) His accent is Welsh no doubt from His Mum and Da. Great musical talents, didn't write a'tall. Had 6 illegitimate children by the time he died at 27. He was not a nice person. Low life, self absorbed, hey nobody's perfect.

It was odd the way KR dissed BJ so intensely in his biography. It was written over 50 years after Brian was around too! I can't put my finger on why KR let it rankle for so long. It is also strange because in his long interviews with Rolling Stone Magazine in the very early 1970s KR eulogised BJ. It must be some kind of inferiority complex that KR carried. Perhaps because BJ and MJ made it to grammar schools and he didn't? That's not very cool. Might explain why he went in for hard drugs.
