Dude!! Were your ears burning? TRG stopped by and we were talking about you. All good, real good in fact. As far as the boat goes, as you know a lot of effort goes into making it look effortlessly. Thanks for watching! Hope to hang at the river with you again. 🌴🏴☠️🌴
@@bigharrykochenbauls4567 ha! Not many will see him here! Mike and I go way back. The last time I saw him I had to wait in line to say hi. lol Great to see what he’s turned his passions into.
Thanks for taking us along for the ride. I sold my flatty years ago and now wish I still had it. Was a 1965 Bob Warren Hurricane 17ft glass over wood, mahogany deck and a 327 vette with a Hallcraft v-drive and hardware . Used to cruise Lake Nacimiento in Paso Robles most of the time. Was once gonna attend a v-drive regatta at the river in Parker AZ. and backed out last minute in fear of sinking my boat from a wake of a large offshore boat but I see that it's not that bad over there after watching your video. Take care and keep making cool videos with your flatty!
The neighbors across the street and my family had 10 acres at Lake Nacimiento. Just north of Bee rock. They had a Warren also long wood deck real nice ride ! We had a Blevins then one of gene deavers first flats, was originally a DiMarco from 61 to 71 our property had ten family owners best possible teen years. Two week vacations every summer
If l ever come back across 2 the USA 🇺🇸 Dana u can take me 4 a Spin . Awesome V Drive & u ain't scared 2 give it the message Just hope l am up 4 it . And Mike is Spot on , a well sorted our Rig .
V-drives, there’s nothing like an overpowered boat… had a small block 16” old circle racer. Nothing even close but still get goose bumps from remebering feeling a calm summer morning starting it up and taxing out on the water…
Thank you for another excellent ride at Parker. I have been waiting for all winter. Too cold and snow here in Michigan. Sanger is still sleeping until Spring. Please do that video on your boat. Again, Thank you!!!!
What a ride. Very nice. I own a 1967 Aquacraft that does 65 on a good day, very pedestrian and people still say I'm insane and have a death wish. I point out that after twenty years I am neither insane nor dead but they're not listening. For a ride in your boat I'd pay your bar tab all night.
You got the best videos for the Parker strip on the planet please keep making them!!! I was 7 years in 1963, when I first popped up on two skis in front of Fox's. Sure hope I can meet you sometime.🤘
Dana had to watch your video again. It's really cool. Like when you were deciding to speed the boat up to hit awake from just one single boat and you just kind of glance off the three little waves like a MX bike. And you're both just sitting in the clear water with the sun reflection on your boat and the water and just really gave you a really good feel of what was going on. So what was the dino reading on your new motor? Cuz I got no clue.
You got it. I used to go to river island park but this last trip I tried La Paz and I liked how quiet and spread out it is. If I see that boat I'm definitely waving. Lol
A Revenge was a "Splash" off a Beismeyer if my info out of the usa is correct. If l am incorrect my mates in the USA will be corrected. Gr8 driving & still a cool flattie
It’s some great folklore actually. As I understand it Bob Goettel wanted to buy another boat but he wanted one like Julian was racing, not what he was selling everyone else. Julian didn’t like being accused of that so he wouldn’t sell him a boat at all. So Bob splashed the one he had and named the new boat company Revenge boats. You can spot a Revenge by the raised rib down the center of the deck. B boats are all smooth decks. And thank you for the compliments.
@@DanaBottomley I have a big block injected runner-bottom early sanger jet boat, I'm into all proper boats, which have an inboard engine.. That looks pretty dangerous glad seeing on camera would be hating it in the boat.....lady drivers you know. That like giving them a loaded 44 mag and trying to sleep at nite😎
Have you ever taken it out on firebird lake just outside of Phoenix? You could open it up and not worry about all of the pleasure boaters, and related wakes.
Would be cool if you did a short vlog about the hull, motor, any special setups, etc. grew up watching k boats (my dad’s mechanic use to race K9) and still love the sound and thrill over a big cat any day.

Thanks! It is reliable but still a lot of effort goes into it before we hit the river. This engine was built by Joey Grose / Grose Racing Engines, the one before that was from Mike Porter at Redline. Real happy with both of those shops.
@@bradchristy8429 it’s still on the front of the engine. The flywheel is in the back and not connected to anything. This is how they change propeller rotation so prop torque is working for you in the turns. V drives driven off the flywheel pull to the right.
@@DanaBottomley So, the blower pulley is trapped on the output shaft. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. Kewl. Seen many circle boats, just always on course, and never up close.

It’s a circle boat. They run off the snout so they favor turning left.
