I love how well maintainable the scooter is. The screws hidden under glued on things is annoying, though. Especially on the front wheel. The bearings sometimes need to be changed very early (not even 120 miles and they make grinding noises on my G30D II) so accessing the front wheel without removing stickers would have been great, but hey, hopefully the soon-to-be installed high-quality bearings will not have any issues anytime soon.
Why does everyone have bearing problems with the front wheel, never rear wheel. My ninebot made these grinding noises after 300 kilometers (around 185 miles) and now after 1700 kilometers it has completly broken
Great vid! The max looks like a very well constructed scooter! Seems like a lot of thought went into it's over all design. Great engineering! No wonder why it's $650-$800 bucks. well worth it!
I'm badly waiting for a max plus with front shocks and removable battery. Finally this good overall design will get right of this stumped bottom plastic cover.
@@pashko90 You'll be waiting a long time for removable battery, 90% of users don't need it and don't want it (compromises water resistance) as for front shocks, its easy enough to do this yourself if you want them.
@@pashko90 are you going to carry a 20lbs battery around to exchange when one runs out ? Otherwise it's unnecessary to have a removable battery, save for replacement when one goes bad but that is simple enough with the current setup.

All I want to do is replace the rear tire because I got a nail in it last month and it doesn't retain air anymore.. didn't know id need a PhD in transplanting and cutting wires and shit Jesus this thing alone was expensive enough..
As a warning, since this bike is easy to disassemble it's also very easy to steal even when locked behind the wheel with a strong U Lock. A thief took my Max G30 in under 10 minutes and left the lock completely intact.

This is very helpful for when i need to do stuff to mines. And at the moment, both my tires are slowly deflating and I'm wondering if I need to buy new tires or inner tubes. I don't know how these wheels are.
There's a gasket around the wires to help prevent water entry. (Pay attention to 5:13 to the black rubber part once they pull the motor cables) Like the guy said above me, it's not meant to be submerged, only to survive large water splashes, like rain and puddles.
My ninebot max scooter makes weird noises especially when you ride on a bumpy terrain. The sound is almost like plastic cracking or like something is rattling in it. What should I do?
I‘ve got the same issue, it comes from the upper portion of the stem. I can hear a metal sound when I pull on the brake cable and push it back in. I couldn’t see what it might be in this video though. The part, where the cable gets removed from the stem is missing.

What seems like an ordinary task in one realm( cars) completely blows ones mind in Segway e-scooter world. I spoke with Segway team because I have error 14, they told me to do The reboot and now my kik scooter doesn't have any power to ride with me, the wheel is spinning only rotated by hand suspended and accelerated arrive at 29km/h but still Powerless when touch The ground...and when press for reboot is coming error 10 and 15. Any toughts???
Error 14 is a brake lever, error 15 is accelerator error. I think what your BLE board is defective. If you in LA I might be able to help you out. 5624999091
A friend of mine used "Security Torx T15" in his Ninebot G30 Max. Has to be "Security" type for the central hole in the tip to match the central pin in the screw.
I have! I went to a bike shop and they removed them for me and put new, better ones on. You can also remove the stock clunky bell and replace it with a better one, It looks so much sleeker and stealthy, I love it

@@markoglibetic8617 The rear wheel bearings are covered by the motor but the front wheel bearings are exposed.

Nodbot makes battery kits for the max. Even a 48 volt upgrade so you can go faster.
Got a full protection kit then uses a adjustable spanner....

Решение нашёл при помощи фена. Греем кольцо до температуры пластичности пластмассы и аккуратно снимаем. Ставим также при помощи нагрева кольца феном.

Mine just started to develop a little sideplay on the frontwheel. Can the screws between the fork and wheel untighten during normal usage?
Why not just remove the covers and check for yourself? takes 2 minutes :P

nevermind the display my bad, but the bluetooth icon on the scooter does not flash to activate the scooter....Tee "reboot" does not solve the issue.
