Good review as always! I thought you were being very fair about all of the defects and dents you pointed out. One of our biggest jobs as reviewers is to point out things like that and add context. I have also found with my E-flite planes that while the pieces generally fit well together, the dents and other issues are just as common. GB
thanks man - yes agree all the foam models have scuffs and dents to some degree. It seems that E-flite, FMS probably Flight Line are a bit better, but then I only have the one of these so it's hardly an accurate comparison. But have to show it as is like you said. Of course if it flies well that is all ok - you can't see those things in the air. :)
Discover RC I totally agree! One thing I will say is that my Eleven Hobby planes were in pretty good shape compared to my PZ and E-flite planes over the years.
You MUST be picky. My Delta Ray, Apprentice, Opterra...heck even my Winged Dragon 500 from Banana Hobby (2012) all came ding n scuff-free. It's the attention to detail that makes the difference in quality and customer care. Nice, honest unboxing.
It takes me forever to get a plane at the store because I look at each one in the box - can't do that when getting it in the mail. E-flite planes usually are very good-a lot better than the way this one came. Still, once you fly them the dents add up. At least the way I fly! lol
Looks amazing John! Great video can't wait to see it fly, will definitely send you my models for building them when I'll start ordering these awesome models lol
Hey Mikey! I think you mean the B-25 Mitchell - the Marauder was an earlier plane that had a steep learning curve for flying. I am hoping the rc version is a little more forgiving!
You didn't have to shim the horizontal stab? A bunch of us needed 3mm shims for the plane to fly well. And also had to pull and check the main wing anchors as they pulled loose and that's what causes the panel on top to not close securely. But she is fun in the air!
I've flown it a few times since this video and the main problem was getting the cg further back. But it seems good now, no shimming on the stab. I'll check the main wing again - they were good out of the box. It looks great in the air especially slow and dirty - and all the little imperfections disappear. :)
That is Cool and impressive plane buddy! Is this the first Dynam you review by the way? :$ Dynam retracts Can be a bit problematic by the way.. Hope yours work out well! Paint imperfactions and some dangs & dings might actually go well with a warbird I think :) Good luck on the maiden offcourse, if you haven't allready :)
hey Dutch - thanks for the retract tip. They seem ok so far - maybe a little loose in the nose. Hope to get her flying tomorrow. Yes first Dynam. I know they are little less quality wise than some of the other brands, but that keeps expectations lower. Still it's a good looking model. Have you seen they are coming out with a P-61? Hope you are having a great weekend!
Agreed! Hope that flight worked out well buddy :) Dynam indeed is a Little lower in the quality-tree.. Especially they more simple (like the Primo) models Do work out well though..
I hear what you are saying but that has a lot of dings and even at the price its still over the top damage - I would ask the Retail for a replacement..
My Dad served on Guadalcanal during WWII and was part of the 1st Marine Division, ultimately receiving the Presidential Unit Citation. Guadalcanal was the first offensive ground action by the U.S. during the war dealing the Japanese their first defeat of the war. The Jeep in the video could well have been on the same ground as my Dad or could have served on another island with the First Marine Division, providing it is original and not a replica.
I got mine 3 days ago from MRC. I know this plane has a few issues. After unboxing and close inspection, I put it back in the box. I was disappointed of the quality of this plane. It's not worth the price, not even at sale price of $209.
These dings are not acceptable. This is about bad packaging from Dynam. The wing container box bashes against the left engine nacelle. Mine did not have the paper buffers and the nacelle is trashed. One of my suppliers now refuses to supply Dynam because of these issues and too many returns. Dynam need to pick up their game.
That does look so nice and will look better with the decals as that always gives such a nice finish.
agree - I forgot to mention that callie graphics has a bunch of decal sets for this plane.

So very true...that 'new plane look' fades quickly after the first flight.
Very thorough review and insights. Time to go marauding!
Yes indeed - need to do some final checks and then get it going!
Very nice Airplane, want to see it fly. Thumb up.
Looks amazing John! Great video can't wait to see it fly, will definitely send you my models for building them when I'll start ordering these awesome models lol
hmmm ok - do I have to send them back?? lol
Nah keepem, I think you have more storage room then I do and maybe a more supportive wife... lol
maybe resigned to the changing fleet that parks itself in various places lol
I like when you post, keep going!
very cool looking plane Sir and nice Size :D
yes bigger plane but transportable :)
Good things to pick out! My planes usually end up looking worse for the wear anyways.
yep - they get those marks anyway. It did fly well today and in the air all that stuff disappears :)
lovely airplane
thanks Ramy!
Excellent presentation. Thanks
thanks John
Love this Marauder mine's coming in a couple of days love your Jeep beautiful
Discover RC, what receiver did you used to fly your B26 bomer with your spektrum transmitter?
Hi, awesome plane, you gotta love the B25 Marauder and remember what it done...... Just bombed Tokyo non the less! Great video.
😀 👍 👍 👍 👍

Discover RC yeah, I got them mixed up, but you knew what I meant. 😀 👍 👍

Hey could you do a video on the rochobby super scorpion? I would really love it!
Ill take a look at it
do you know a quick and quiet plane under 175?
I hear what you are saying but that has a lot of dings and even at the price its still over the top damage - I would ask the Retail for a replacement..
Is that your Willy’s!? Have you done a video on it ?
yes it's a 1943 MB. I haven't done a detailed video on it yet.
Screw the plane, tell me all about that jeep. :*)
I can do that! :)
+Discover RC Okee dokee! THX! :*)
No rush. Pls, take your time. Time to think about the details, etc. :*)

Fms Planes imo are even far superior in their paint n foam finish than eflite models. Dynam we just wanna em fly good in the end.
