Ultima, Thorden, Shinryu, Hades, elements of every one of these major boss themes show up here, driving home that this is the culmination, the CLIMAX, of our journey from the beginning of A Realm Reborn to this moment.
Also imagine during the 4.0 final someone would tell you "one day you'll ride that dragon at the edge of the universe, charging after the incarnation of despair..." lol
I could not believe it until i was there. It was wrapped up perfectly. How the wrote the whole story till this point and it made so much sense since the beginning, even since they let FF14 end in an apocalypse to make Reborn and let FF14 be one of the worlds which got consumed...insane!!!

まさかほんとに天の果てまで追ってくるとは思わなかったし
手を組む事になるとも思わなかったし
あいつと一緒に戦うのがこんなに心強いとも思わなかったよ
これのお陰で最期の殴り合いも清々しい気持ちでできた
ゼノスが割って入って来た瞬間、絶望感の塊だった終焉を謳うものが「部外者」になってしまった。ゼノスの「戦おうぜ」は、生きることが前提であり、それしか頭に無い。
想いが形になるデュナミス圏内において、彼ほど頼もしい存在は他にいなかっただろう。
たしかに、あの強烈な登場シーン以降の流れ変わったな感がすごかった！
あとは5.3以降、水戸黄門の印籠並みに勝ち確シーン演出装置になりかけてた「アゼムのクリスタルの召喚術」によってではなくて、"ヒカセンの旅の集大成とでもいうべき因果の果て"に彼があの場所にたどり着いたというのが良かったですね。
「自分でさえ結末を思い描けなくなったとき、先を拓いてくれるのは、その術で喚ばないものだ」
それだけじゃなく急に出てきたと思ったら「まだ倒してないの？」って煽ってくるから憎たらしいというか頼りになると言うかw
終焉を謳うものは「出るものが出たなぁ？」としか思わなかったのに
ゼノスが割り込んできて「江絵ええぇｪｪｪｪ！？！！」って腰が抜けるほど驚いた記憶ｗ
この上なく頼れる厄介者で頭抱えたｗ
コンテンツファインダーを設定としてアゼムのクリスタルの術として説明したのはホントに天才だと思う
旧FF14を一旦Closeして改修するにあたって物理的にゲームにログインできなくなるリアルの数年間の空白でさえゲーム内のストーリーに落とし込んじゃったし、その気概は今も開発チームの中に息づいているってことですね。
メタ要素を本編の設定として色々回収してきた手腕には脱帽よな

正確にはアゼムのソウルクリスタルから発生する足場魔法陣が強固からだと思う。それに終焉を謳うものがバカなのか、彼女の絶望感で神龍化しているゼノスよりも我々を先に倒そうとするからそれしか彼女の視界に入っていない多分笑。極版はどうなるかは少々楽しみか期待はしているかな、そうであって欲しいですがせめて光の戦士達を抱えているゼノスを見てくださいよとラスボスに言いたくなる、こっちは困っちゃうけどね、戦う足場を無くしたら今度はドゥーナミスだっけ?書き方忘れた、感情の力が頼りになるww
