We also spoke about what can corrupt the heart, how one can prevent corruption of the heart and how a corrupted heart can be healed. A beautiful topic to watch out for is attaining the sweetness of Imaan. - in particular, what this feels like and how we can continue to experience this feeling.

I feel that is because a lot of the imams and scholars preach more fear than hope in regards to the deen - i.e if you don’t do xyz, you’re going to the hellfire. If you do do xyz you’re going to the hellfire - So yes it’s seems hard to practice and come back to Allah. We need more scholars and lectures that highlight the mercy and hope with balance iA.
