S2: EP2 | Living with Visual Impairment, Dealing with Health & Gratitude
In this episode we invited a very close brother of ours, Marwan. Marwan was diagnosed with a visual impairment at birth and till this day is still dealing with it. He opens up about the struggles he encountered in his youth but how he then began to see the impairment as a blessing rather than a burden. And this is where we touched on gratitude towards Allah SWT.

Your memories of playing with your mother in your childhood truly reflect the kind of mother she was, Masha’Allah. She created a safe and comforting environment, so steadfast that even her illness couldn’t diminish the motherly warmth she provided, even in her final moments. May Allah bless all the mothers of the ummah and grant them the highest rank in Jannatul Firdaws.

I feel that is because a lot of the imams and scholars preach more fear than hope in regards to the deen - i.e if you don’t do xyz, you’re going to the hellfire. If you do do xyz you’re going to the hellfire - So yes it’s seems hard to practice and come back to Allah. We need more scholars and lectures that highlight the mercy and hope with balance iA.
