Along with Kuijken, my favorite flutist playing today. Walker's remarkable virtuosity always takes second place to his even more remarkable musicality. Listen, e.g. to his all time great version of Trockne Blumen. But not this time. This piece is so difficult and at the same time so marginally musical, that there's just nothing interesting to be done with it. Kind of amazing to to be able to play all the notes so well, but that's the extent of it, IMHO. Zgraja should have left Bach's Toccata and Fugue alone.
