I'm sorry you've been having a rough time with troll(s). I have noticed that youtube chat is generally less savory across the board compared to twitch chat. re-reading twitch chat is half of the fun of watching these VODs :)
TH-cam chat is so unusable because of spammers, bots, and scammers. It’s probably time to turn off the chat at this point and stick with Twitch for the chat. For the comments, it’s out of control to the point where it’s near impossible to stop.
Here to comment how much I really like watching your videos they are calming background for my days chasing my toddler around. ❤
As a Wisconsinite you probably have had harsher winters than Quebec City… Winnipeg and most of the Canadian Prairies have way harsher winters than anything in the East. The US/CAN border is much farther north in western Canada than in the East. On average the temperature is around -8 (+18 Fahrenheit) Celsius in the daytime and it rarely goes anywhere below-20 ( -4 Fahrenheit). Quebec City is wonderful in both winter and summer but it a rare case of a city that embraces winter. Nature is everywhere around.
Having traveled Victoria many times, i sure wish you could actually fix traffic and highways and transit in the city. It's awful... but its such a beautiful city, the chaos is part of the charm. 😉

You should probably just ban trolls and continue on like nothing. Don't even mention it since they literally feed on you reacting to them which makes them keep coming back.
Also: if you go the Vancouver Island during December-February, go to Tofino and experience the storms. Incredibly beautiful

Finally finished watching this. I left the live before the chat ban on YT. And OMG, what a turn of events! The spammer brought out the evil side of CP 😂 that highway just cut through the city and took out a bunch of houses. And after watching the new magnolia episode, I am worried for all the residents of CP builds.

I think internet here in Finland is generally considered very good, especially mobile internet. We also have no monthly data transfer quotas, which, last I checked, wasn't nearly as common around the world as I thought.
You might want to check the Finnish Museum of Games in Tampere. I've never visited it myself, but I've heard some good things. Other than that, I don't have any specific suggestions. If I ever moved outside Finland, I've probably miss rye bread and Fazer's milk chocolate (blue packaging), so maybe those are some quite Finnish things you might want to try while you're here? Then there's the lakeland in general, which can be very beatiful at its best, and the nature in Lapland, but that's probably way too far from where you're going in Finland. If I come up with anything else though, I might get back with more suggestions.
Hey Phil, I think gusty_scorf was referring to European highways that create a ring road around a city, and where the highway would continue toward the city center they tend to turn into arterials.
As for Magnolia County, I think it needs a SPUI or a DDI!! I’ve made both in vanilla CS2. They’re not super hard to make, but can be tricky to get the geometry right, especially on the SPUI. Once you figure it out it’s not bad

You mentioned that you were going through Frankfurt on your way to Finland. Hopefully you will have a layover or can add some extra days so you can enjoy Octoberfest.
If you do go to Victoria you should eat at Red Fish Blue Fish on the Victoria waterfront. Excellent Fish and Chips.

As a Coloradan, I can tell you. It was a government purchase and the government ALWAYS overpays for “public art”. Given that the evil diablo horse killed its creator, I am not sure where that money actually went. Hopefully, he had heirs.
Hey Phil, have you ever considered releasing edited cuts for this series? I'd love to watch, but unfortunately I don't have enough time to enjoy your entire streams. I've tried skipping around, but doing so makes it difficult to contextualize what you're working on with the broader aims of the community you're developing. You could definitely keep it long form, but there's a huge difference between 1 hour and 4.
I don't think the fact that you interact with the audience as much as you do is a negative for this sort of content -- perhaps you could chop it up to include the portions in which you're talking with them about what's happening in the game? It would feel very personal, and offer an additional way to enjoy your creativity and personality.
I imagine this would be pretty time intensive, so I totally understand if it just doesn't make sense for you. Maybe pilot the idea and see how it's received?

I don't know what issues caused you to change the mic settings mid-stream, but as I hear your audio since the beginning of the VoD, it sounds pretty fine, clear and more bassy, almost like your videos. Whatever settings ChatGPT told you to put, seemed proper apparently lol.

Meh, Toronto is okay - I prefer Vancouver. Montreal is not as European as Quebec City - but Quebec City is very French and has less English than Montreal. I'm in Winnipeg it gets down to -55C only in the winter. +30C in the summer.

HI CPP you should set up chat moderators from your Patreons and frequent watchers that you trust. That way they can handle the ban hammer while you can create your content. Sorry you had deal with that troll throughout your stream.

Saying what you're going to do to prevent targetted harrasment on the stream you are being harrassed on is probably one of the worst things you could do if you actually want to prevent said targetted harasment. If they know exactly what you're doing to stop them then they won't waste time trying those things. Moderation tactics should be kept private for maximum effectivemess.

Would you change your mind about being buried if your kids wanted a place to talk to you after you die? Four years after his death, I still wish I had a place to go talk to my father as crazy as that sounds. A place to put flowers for your mother and pour out a drink for your father at that special time of year.
Quick question… Should I start with skylines 1 or 2 there’s a big difference in price point is there a big difference in gameplay and features as well?
CS 2 is more refined. But CS1 has more content. CS1 is the JV and CS2 is the Varsity

Would it be possible if you JUST edit out all the super chat talk? I find people's super chats so self serving and sad. If people want that, watch live. I don't mind you doing less structured videos, but would love to cut all the fat reading people's dumb messages.

@no.4363 definitely don't want to watch live. Then I have to sit through all the people who think they are important for giving $1. My request is simple, after the live session, just cut out all the down time. Should take an hour max of editing.
