Today they prefer "EMo"... funny how Jonah told the story of how they came together when the bass player came up to him at school and suggested they start a band and said "that Emo guy can play the bass." LOL Incredible musicianship!
2 seconds into the video I felt such a bone-chilling dread. The music was phenomenal. The sound quality was awesome. But..... I wasn't sure what kind of recording this was. Chris Starr eased my mind several times during the video.
His pocket is ridiculous, and he's not just doing flashy chops. When he plays, he's playing MUSIC and I know of no bassist out there who sounds remotely like him. Respect to him.
At moments the bass player channels some George Benson melodies on the top notes. This band is amazing. I haven't been this excited about a new band for ages.

When you look at him, then listen to him, it's like " that's him?". So, looks don't mean a thing. If a saw a still picture him before I heard him, I would have said that guy's a rock artist. He can that bass!
Kudos to the guy in the back too, great synth playing and backing vocals, sweet support for the actual singer/keyboardist. And yeah, Henrik rulez! Gotta love the comments on how surprised people are to find out that guy can really burn a fretboard whilst looking like Edward Scissor-Hands! *;)* (Actually Jonas Hellborg had orange punk hair when he was younger - and he would often kick the amps on stage by the end of his solos, embarrassing John McLaughlin to death. What's with young Swedish fusion bassists??..)
