I was a snowbird for around 15 years. We always got out of FL by the first week of May. We were right on a barrier island. No Way do you want to be on the coast during a hurricane.

Y'all are such good people to have gone through loosing the truck, then allowing someone who lost their trailer to get yours after you put so much work and effort into making it your home and your business. We are truly blessed to have met y'all at the Tampa show and hope to meet up on the road again sometime. Safe travels.

I listened to this twice and I still do not understand what happened that you say you lost your HOME and TRUCK. Did it blow away in a tornado, fall off a cliff, miss handle money. I hear everything you say you did but you still lost your home and truck.

If it's good for you GOOD! I just read a lot of RVers that have had serious problems and had left them in a jam. So I guess I can say happy RVING.

We did sell it...we didn't plan on it 😁 we were suppose to keep it for another 5 years. Events changed our plans ...that is the story about our unplanned lost 🤔 🤣

I'm definitely remembering that Schnebly hill rd as it drops down into Sedona. We accidentally discovered it in the late 80's when we were in the Flagstaff area. And yes, my late Wife was none to happy with me as we did it in our '78 Dodge conversion van.
A year later I had the pleasure of leaving Sedona up that hill in a f350 pumper truck to deliver a portable toilet while the road was torn up by a crew installing a cable system right down the middle of the road 😮
So time has moved us along the Path of life. She passed 5÷ years ago and I'm happily enjoying the rest of my life here in SunCityWest Az with my Chihuahua. Safe travels

How did you lose the truck and the trailer, we’re they pinch, we’re you a road accident, we’re you in a flood, or something else. This is just crazy. Plenty of people change they motor homes, without all this trouble. What other have done is hire a storage unit and put it all in there, move into a hotel for 2 nights while you sort it out. We’ve changed our unit hundreds of times, and it’s all the same jollly hard work.
Probably, like you, after "hundreds of time" 🤣 we'll become professionals at moving.
You guys have way more experience then we can even dream of having 🤣🤙
Funny about the sticky notes. When we trade or sell an RV, as I go through and empty cabinets I stick a small piece of blue painter's tape on the handle when it's clean. It took the dealer where we traded it in some time to get it posted online. As I was looking at the pictures they took, I could see all the blue tape still on the door handles. Just like the one we bought with all the metal and wood shavings all over the place, glue overspray on the windows and plumbing leaks it was absolutely PDI !

`Hi to the both of you. I'll most likely never own an RV, at my age and disabilities Our Son sells Rv for R n' R RV he really enjoys helping people get an RV and he keeps in touch with many of his customers and asks them how they like the RV. My wife won't travel anyware she used to be an 18 wheeler wife and has stopped going much over 500 miles away from home.. You guys really show how life really is on the road and issues you face. New to your channel - but what is your opion of class A by now over your 5th wheel and being able to bring your Jeep again ?
A real truck frame and engine...vs ...an El Cheapo Lippert made frame 🤣 with IKEA cabinets ( the cheaper version)🤣
Way quicker to set-up and as a ex OTR way more comfortable to drive then the pickup.
And having " Misfit " with us all the time feels like vacation 😁
My daughter says I have a cleaning disorder. I'm always cleaning.

Found you guys after watching an RV Wingman episode. Great info, glad I found you two! After I upgraded from my 31' 5th wheel to my toy hauler, I couldn't believe how much stuff I had to move! It was almost as bad as moving out of my first apartment! It took me a year to find my new unit, but not being in a hurry and finding the right one was worth the wait!

It bugs me when people make fun of other people who care about the weather. The weather will kill you. People who live in vehicles are vulnerable and need to be more cautious. I always run from terrible weather. That's why my home has wheels.

I'm a 45 year truck driver and O/O, why don't you build a reefer trailer and pull it with a semi. I'm building my 2008 Wabash into an rv.

I still have a 1999 W900L that was my proud and joy OTR O/O as well for years...just have to let it go and appreciate our 2017 MH full timers now, with the engine in the back it is quite a difference for sure !

Wau the gas$$ your going to spend. We sold our 37ft class A. Truly liked it however I had a very hard time driving it. Looking for a used Toyhauler to utilize the deck. Will not haul toys. The huge 38 ft class A with towing a car behind and finding gas stations to fill up not cool many times. My husband was a truck driver and handled it well. Still many Gas Station we had to pass up. Good luck

Seems like this is smoke and mirrors, and then you plugged Rv Eagan. Yep lost us there with that LIER and far from honest oh so far. Let’s see he lied about literally everything but price that was the only thing everything else was BS. No pdi yea probably didn’t inspect. No power cord like he said arrived but noooo not even ordered it was just sign and leave so I get my money. And some how he got promoted and now working with another company. I feel for them
As an inspector, I bought the price. I knew I would never see him again and k ew better about their PDI. They are all about the same...$$$ is the only driving force a dealership I. MHO.

Hurricane Ian disrupted our lives too. We were supposed to travel to Port Saint Lucie the week the storm was to hit, so we went anyway, and we're glad we did, because it missed us there, but we new it was close. Winds were fierce and it rocked the RV , and we were parked next to a tree! We saw the destruction to Daytona Beach area along rt 95, and all the flooding on our way back to our home base in keystone heights.
Hurricanes are no joke and certainly something I will always run from🤪😂
