Center tunnel bushing: Tail-shift cars had a bushing there. Part number 914.424.224.00 , same as at the back of the rear shift rod. No bushing AFAIK for the tail-shift cars. While you're in there: DEFINITELY weld the brackets for the control cables, especially the clutch tube, into place. Super common for the tube to come adrift from the side of the center tunnel.

Mig weld is fine with argon. Practice some welds and tack away
