Whether it's raising awareness, educating, or cleaning, we're happy to do it!

I live near a beach in the Caribbean and it was alarming to see how plastic and microplastics have become part of the sandscape. It's everywhere! I've started taking a garbage bag with me and picking up any plastic garbage I see on the sand and water. All the restaurants on the beach should be cleaning up since most of the plastic is coming from their customers , but they don't. And littering and illegal dumping is a big problem. We organized a roadside clean up going towards the beach and got a good amount of garbage up. Now we need to get people motivated to keep the momentum. Thank you for inspiring change.

A powerful and eye-opening video on the alarming impact of plastic on climate change. It's time we take action and rethink our plastic consumption habits

We have to continue the conservation and spread further awareness and education! We’re all in this together.🙌

We see their joyous inseparable unity
We learn that life is as beautiful as death"

It is time to for us to REFUSE to use single use plastic. Recycling, reducing, and reusing helps a lot. However, REFUSING to use single use plastic is by far the most effective solution to the problem.

Maybe the waste companies should have machines the rip open bag to check. Makes more sense to check everything not a bite

Recycle unfortunately doesn’t work when it comes to plastic. You can do it only twice or at maximum three times but that’s all.

    • @Mr.Random98
      @Mr.Random98 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@DionisoBaco.Plastic can be recycled way more than 2-3 times. For example PET (most common plastic in plastic bottles) are 100% recyclable and can be recycled many times. There are, however, other plastics (like thin or film plastic, which is what plastic shopping bags or food packaging is made of) can’t be recycled at all and will ruin the batch of recycling if put into a household recycling bin.

Except for the first line, it's an information video. What's left out is that the number one cause of climate change is animal agriculture. Stopping animal agriculture would lower the Earth's temperature, whereas stopping fossil fuels raises the Earth's temperature in the short term. So stopping plastic use is essential, but plastics don't disrupt the environment as much as animal ag.

The oceans absorb 93,4% of the warming. I stopped using "climate change" as only 2,3?% of the warming shows up in the troposphere.
So, when they say global warming has reached 1,5°C, that's only 2,3% "factual".
Actual global warming is measured in watts per square meter on the surface of the tropopause, the layer between troposphere and stratosphere. where the temperature of the air stops cooling and warms up a bit in the stratosphere, even though the stratosphere is actually cooling because the destruction of stratospheric ozone and the insulating properties of greenhouse gases in the troposphere.
Thanks for your work 4Ocean ✌

Yes, plastics don't turn into methane when they decompose like paper does!

    Where does the plastics go

    • @4Ocean

Everything that can be recycled gets recycled. Internationally, we are currently evaluating our co-processing options for everything that can't be recycled. In Florida, everything we can't recycle is taken to the Solid Waste Authority where it is turned into clean energy. 🤙
