Rome Walking - Inside the Imperial Forum - Largo Argentina- Wednesday 5th June 2024

We start off really early on the Ponte Sisto over the River Tevere/Tiber and walk up to the Area di Sacra Largo Argentina where the Theatre of Pompey was, and the site of Julius Caesar's Assasination at the Curia (Courthouse or parliament) of Pompey.
We then head down to the Circus Maximus and the Via di Saint Gregorio, (Via is Road or Street) into the Imperial Forum arriving at about 9am, no queue or crowds yet, and where we spend the rest of the day exploring everything including the House of the Vestal Virgins and the views from the Top of Palatine Hill, the Curia Julia (from outside as closed for maintenance)., most of the signs and desriptions were filmed, so you can see what and where everything is..
