love this show but only thing is do not like the amount of miles they supposedly travel in a day on horseback, 60 miles? not often if ever back than, a horse walks at 3 mph. and you can not run them that long, and without road going cross country, ???

Sometimes i wish Marshall Dillon was just a tad less law abiding. This one broke my heart.
He is not strictly by the book. He judges it on a case by case basis. Not always adhering to the letter of the law.
