Sometimes it’s not easy to listen to the shows when you are quitting smoking!! I love the old radio especially GS and the old commercials go right along with that it, ya lol kinda want a smoke at times!
@Bob BURRILL Yep! He was good in that too. He did a lot of radio & poped up in supporting roles in many movies & guested on lots of TV shows. I remember seeing him in episodes of Bonanza, Gunsmoke TV & The Andy Griffith Show among others.
@@Mr22thou Dehner was the "guest villain" in Maverick's second season episode (titled "Shady Deal at Sunny Acres") which many agree is not just the greatest of all Maverick episodes, but one of the "best of the best" episodes in all television history. Oh, and one other fine radio Western series starring Dehner was Frontier Gentlemen,.
@@vincentsartain3061 Thanks. I'll see if I can find that Maverick episode. I remember enjoying it as a kid. And I've listened to Frontier Gentleman many times. It was good. Great era for westerns.
@@Mr22thou Dehner was also Paladin in the radio version of "Have Gun, Will Travel." Given his dual role in "Belljoy's Prisoner," it would have been delightful to have a "Have Gun" episode in which Paladin met "Frontier Gentleman" J.B. Kendall.
@fredglaeser9199 - I've listened to hundreds of OTR programs, many of which were sponsored by tobacco companies (LSMFT!) but never once felt the urge to smoke.

One of the best radio shows ever.

🤠🐎 Doc, they never trust me 🌵
John Dehner is almost a regular cast member on this series. He always plays different characters, but it seems like he's in about every other episode.

Mr. Dehner was amazing. He also appeared in multiple Gunsmoke TV episodes. He was Paladin in the radio version of "Have Gun, Will Travel".
Restaged version of "Carmen" [May 31, 1952].
for some reason I really want an L & M filter tip.....
That’s because today’s your big red-letter day!
