My first exposure to Animal Crossing was New Horizons, so I actually don’t mind that this game so closely resembles Wild World. I can see the DNA of the games I didn’t get to play.

Having not played this one, it feels like it made the series more popular and mostly introduced things such as mostly no top-down perspective, multiple storey homes for your character etc. Also, that Pascal is in AC:NH!
