- This video covers three different beard shapes that I'll be performing on my buddy Dillon, the square, round, and almond shaped to finish. Dillon hasn't trimmed his beard length in years!! And today for the sake of "Educational purposes" he has offered up his prize relic to the clippers. Ive known Dillon for quite some time now, and one thing that immediately stands outs about Dillon ( other then his glowing bad ass aura) is his Grizzly Adams beard. It is who he is and it is his identity.

I’m bald with a beard. I have watched over 100 TH-cam videos about the perfect beard trim, bald shave etc… some of them with over a million views. This is the BEST beard trim/shape up I’ve seen. This deserves more views and likes! You’re an artist sir. 💈 🪒 👨🏻🎨

This video just randomly popped up for me, the production value is amazing, I never would've guessed this was such a small channel, only noticed when I was going to subscribe. Thank you for the video. It looks like a great cut, and I used it to assist in my recent trim. I will say that, such as at 10:38, I would have preferred to see this whole process. Rather than all the edits, cut to the beats of the music. This happens quite a bit throughout the video. Showing what is being done is whats important in a tutorial and tip video. Someone editing to this extent in this video was odd.
Hey prophecy, I totally get where you're coming from, and honestly I would LOVE to be able to share the entirety of the video just as its filmed, in silence , and just me one and one talking to the camera . The problem is that the entirety of the film is usually VERY lengthy and typically in realtime its spanning the amount of nearly 2+ hours, which is unforntenly to long for what were trying to capsulate into a small still manageable amount of info that maintains a hook, vibrancy and its own unique "brand" . However, I have been considering doing a live event which could lead to more , if such an event would be of interest to you , make sure you connect with us via this platform and our others ie. Fb, IG, TikTok etc. where we would announce such an event . But thank you again for the compliments and feedback . I appreciate it !

Talented and gave me some valuable tips on doing the shape myself.. Only thing I personally wouldn't want my barber to do would trimming my ears with the trimmer.

Nice bro!. I actually like the top of my beard to have more density and length. Many times the barber has taken my sides to short leaving me with just a long chin beard

All to often I hear that same story , it is our jobs as barbers to LISTEN to the clients and convey and liaison the information back and forth, until both barber and client have a solid game plan. Im sorry to hear you've had less then exceptional beard treatment. If your ever in UT hit us up !

I hear a lot of I’m happy w/the shape, how does the client feel? I’m just curious as someone who only wanted the 1/2 in of transparency trimmed off and the Barbie took 3 inches off that set me back 6 months of growth
The client is always the number one priority at the beginning of any service. What “the client wants & feels” should be discussed within the consultation and throughout the service. However, for this particular beard trim, the model was completely OK with the length that we took off his beard. He was fully aware that this was an educational and training video. Meant to help people like yourself and other barbers, take a skill or a new trick away from this video. Again, thank you for your feedback. It is appreciated !
What is a good beard oil to grow it thanks
Hey Tony, honestly I always tell my clients that when searching for a good beard oil consider these things. 1. What's in it ? , such as ingredients etc. you don't want to be putting something on your face that is full of chemicals you can barely read. 2. Is it natural...ish , such as Vitamin E, Canola Oil, JoJoba oil . those are all things I consider and take into account ,before I even think about putting it in the beard. There's ALOT of oils out there and unfortunately , not one is the best. But with that bit of info, you can now make an informed buying decision. Look around your local area and see if you can find a great local beard oil company , (there literally everywhere) and go with that, you'll get the best quality typically over most major product lines. Hopefully this helps . If you have any other questions just ask away ! Have a great one !

You should cut a beard how the client wears the beard. If the client doesn’t blow dry it shouldn’t be cut blow dried. Cut beards as clients wear the beards
Hey Mark, thanks for taking the time to write a reply. The reason why we blow dry the beard out is that way we can volumize it and show the beard completely “stood up” and see the shape of our beard and how we intend to shape it. If we don’t , the beard could be compressed or matted down, and potentially hide multiple blemishes and discrepancies within the beard. But thank you for your opinion, it is appreciated !
