    Great review.
Probably something I won't dive into, but a fascinating piece of Doctor Who history being explored very well it seems.

Not to say this boxset is bad but I prefer the other boxsets. The stories feel vey samey and there aren't much good interactions between Jamie, Zoe and the doctor together. However, it still is a really good boxset and narratively very strong. 8/10

I know I’m late in commenting, but I just finished in listening to the boxset and thought it was great. I think your statement towards the beginning put it best in terms of the boxset being full of dread and mystery. Great review.

I just can’t past the second doctors voice, Fraser Hines has always been the superior voice for 2 but for some reason they didn’t use him for this series. Big finish seems to think that just because someone has the same surname they’re perfect to voice their relative.

@@obiwankenobi687 it’s probably because it’s a fresh start for the range and it would be a heavy workload for Fraser to do both characters for these types of stories, especially when he’s using his natural aged voice for Jamie. Also having two different actors allows for a more natural back and forth between the characters, allowing them to have a natural rep-ore rather than putting all the weight of Fraser.
