      @@sammyhack no worries champ. The Vic does look great. I'm going through a slow rebuilding process with my 06 P71. New hood scoop, paint, interior, tires, exhaust, ect. Watching your vids gave me a ton of ideas. So thnx!

    looks good but what about water going in i can see alternator is exposed also there should be some primer paint on those cuts or it will start to rust

    • @sammyhack
      @sammyhack  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but back half of vent covers it and the only water gettin in falls into the space between engine/fan or onto radiator fan/coolant reservoir and the other 2 vents are over the headers so no issues there. And if it rusts I’ll just get a new hood lol has a bunch of holes in it already anyway lol

    Legit!!! Functional heat removal 🎯💯

      Thanks! Yea I can feel the heat comin out when the fans kick on it’s awesome lol

    *Idk if you looked into the science behind this or not, but I did as I was planning to do it to my F-150. It's pretty crazy, and you can find the best place to put the vents if you do research. This looks sick either way*

    • @sammyhack
      @sammyhack  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn’t really do research I just kind of used common sense 😆 tried to place it right behind the fans so when they turn on it pushes heat right out and same with the smaller ones tried it put em where the headers were cuz they get pretty hot but thanks!

    Where did you find those? Do you have the links?

    Looks great! You mentioned "track inspired" but do you eventually plan on tracking it, or autocrossing? We need more Panthers out there hurting feelings on the track!

      Funny ya say that I have been thinkin about that for a bit now! Just that I gotta redo this whole suspension before I do that I have cut springs up front old mustang springs in the rear all my watts links, control arms are shot 😂 wanna get thicker sway bars too! It’ll be a process which I’m hoping to share on this channel but I do hope to get to a point where I feel comfortable being out there on the autox! Cuz this car will be gettin a 5spd eventually too just been a bit slow gettin everything goin because of funds etc lol

      @Socoolds455 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sammyhack I feel ya about stretching funds! I'd love a tire sponsorship, Tremec would be nice too lol (i'm also doing the TR3650 swap). QA1 and Viking make Panther suspension stuff, I pieced together my setup with QA1, ADTR, Massive, and Roush parts. I feel like we need to get some Panther guys together to harass QA1 into making more stuff for this platform!

    Great work, do you have an undertray? Do you think it had an effect of how functional vents are? Thanks.

    • @sammyhack
      @sammyhack  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have one but I took it off when I did my camber bolts haha I had a skid plate under the car and thinkin about reinstalling it and No I don’t think so cuz the air is still comin through the grill and the fans when they come on actually push hot air through the vents when ya just chillin there

      the duraflex one is absolutely hideous, which seems to be the trend for a lot of cowl hoods/hood scoops you can buy for the crown vic. better off doing your own fabricating if you have the confidence for it (i don't and im also retarded)

      @@typicalmerc0654 actually every Duraflex kit I have seen irl looks good. Definitely needs to be lowered with 18x8/10 wheels. I like the fact that it has a grill designed perfectly for an intercooler
