Edit: if you tried the beta the devs ran on steam a few days ago you might have seen that the AI buddies reversed with you in it, as the kids would say "pog"

The Kamov KA-50 and KA-52 also use the same autocannon as on the BMP-2. But on those helicopters its mounted on the right side of the fusilage with limited traverse
When you’re close to a tank, you can switch to HE and aim for the optics. The vision ports also work well on the commanders cupola. The shell will often detonate inside the system and send the fragments into the fighting compartment.
I hope that at some point in the future we get to switch between the 2 RoF modes as well as the option to use the commanders AA sight. Though it is nice that the Konkurs is modeled as its own independent system. Would have liked to see that hit at 8:40 in the AAR though, was it Sabot that just passed through empty space or shattered on an odd impact angle?
Hey, thanks for your comment! Yeah I forgot to add that AAR one in the end there but it indeed passed straight through the infantry compartment, clean in and out. So, other than some mushed infantry in the back, everything was fine!

Thank you so much Jim, I always appreciate it! I haven't had any training, so I suppose you can say I'm self-taught. However, I do work as a Broadcast Camera Operator for news stations, TV shows, talk shows, etc. So I definitely learn a lot from the job and try and use a lot of the same techniques. :)

You wouldn't have too much issue penetrating the side and back armour of the M48's with AP rounds, I know because I've ran multiple tests on the ultrarealistic physical modelling software Warthunder

Hi! I haven't played Steel Beasts yet myself because I don't really like the pricing system used for it and I'm kinda broke lmao. But I have seen some videos about Steel Beasts and from what I can see, it's definitely oriented on realism. It's a hardcore armored warfare simulator. For example, the vehicles in Steel Beasts seem to have fully functional interiors, something that we don't have in GHPC. And it offers more realistic ballistics against armor as well. When looking at graphics, it's very clear that GHPC looks a lot better. I think, maybe try GHPC first to see if you enjoy a lite armored warfare sim. And then once you sort of mastered GHPC and you still enjoy it, try Steel Beasts!

@@donshaso140 if you want a good tank light sim with modren tanks ( not like there are any made past the year 2000 ) get GHPC it is a good balance of realistic fire control systems and unified controls On the other hand you want a full on simulator similar to DCS . And a game what fully models the inter and all the systems of a modern MBT or IFV get steel beast pro pe. You could also try both it's not like you can only play one
I mean, they are two very different games about the same subject. GHPC is definitely more simulator oriented. Whereas Armored Warfare is more of a arcade style game, like War Thunder. So the answer to your question depends on what you like more in games. Realism or entertainment. 😁

I started to play it because I'm bad as hell in War Thunder, so I was looking for a game that is realistic but also fun (I mean, with a single player mode), and GHPC is just like that! It's disappointing to see enemy AI being non existent. How can you even enjoy this. Enemy vehicles simply stood there as static targets, not even attempting to evade when the ATGMs launched by your platoon impacted around them. Also not sure why the enemy helos would fly so stupidly close into your vicinity and not even attempting to pull back when you start trying to gun them. Instead they did some low altitude dancing basically waiting to eventually get shot by your next salvo. GHPC looks cool and might be a good foundation for a good low level simulation game, yet in this state of pathetic enemy "AI" it seems as challenging as hitting someone who's in deep sleep.
All my sources vary from 25mm at 700 meters to 20mm at 800 meters. So that's what I'm going on. I haven't seen a single source claiming more than 25mm of penetration from the 3UBR6. So that's what I'm sticking to :)

If you wanna use the 5mm + every 100m closer . 8- 20 7- 25 6 30 - 5 35 4- 40 3-45 2-50 muzz 55. But that's not how ballistics work, 51 flat pen at combat PB is correct.

Totally buying this during the Steam Summer Sale. I love the BMP-2 and this seems like a great game. The German on the intercom sounds fantastic.

True but the AI got an update a few days ago. This video was recorded before that
according to Janes and Steelbeasts 3UBR6 APBC-T can do 51mm of Flat RHAe ... not 20.
