Complete answer: It is considered the third highest mountain in the world. It is located in the eastern Himalayas. Kanchenjunga was considered as the highest mountain until the year 1852 but after readings by the Trigonometrical Survey of India in 1849, Mount Everest is considered the highest mountain. It is located between Sikkim state which is in northeast India and Nepal. It is located in Nepal, Sikkim, and India. Two out of five peaks of Kanchenjunga is located in the Taplejung district of Nepal. In the 19th century, the first sketch of Kanchenjunga was made by Rinzin Namgyal. The first European who described this region is Sir Joseph Hooker. It rises in the section of Himalaya which is called Kanchenjunga Himal. Since it is located in a remote area of Nepal, it is difficult to reach it from Nepal. In 1955, it was climbed by Joe Brown and George Band. So, the correct answer is Option A. Note: Kanchenjunga is located in Nepal. It is considered as the 3rd highest mountain. It was regarded as the highest mountain in the world until the year 1852. amazing video guys... the whole trek was amazing... all the memories are refreshed after watching this video.... hope we will meet again somewhere in the mountain range....
U both of Rock again it's mind blowing place & ya scenes allso captured very well. my favourite 5:50 to 6:20 & 10:50 that was fab😘 Nice video edited Praneel.
Honestly, Goechala was a challenging trek for us. It was a trek where we had very limited information and resources available. From hiring a guide (which we found was compulsory only when we reached yaksum) to managing basic necessities throughout, surviving in the dropping temperature and completing the trek was one of a lifetime experience :) These things get comparatively easier when in a group but a little tough when just 2 are each other’s support system.
It's a national park rule, so if you are trekking beyond Tshoka, then you must have a guide... We hired one from Yuksum village and paid him 1K per day plus some tips, but the guide will also request you to hire one porter and cook, because there is no food available on the trek. We convinced him as we don't want to spend on cook and porter. on the trek we bought food from trekking groups. Easy way - go through trek organisers they will take care about guide, food and cook, rather than going solo like us.
Hi I liked your video guys. Just had a few doubts 1. Is a guide compulsory? 2. Do we need to carry tents and sleeping bags or there is accommodation 3. What would be the estimate budget for two people. Thank you
1. As per rules, guide is compulsory if u r going up till Goechala 2. Will break the second question in parts - food : you will find food only in Bakkim, Tshoka, Dzongri...rest of the places will have to borrow food from other groups, if you don't have ur own cook Accomodation is also available in bakkim, tshoka and Dzongri, but for this you will need to reach ahead of everyone or else you will lose the accommodation..also u won't find any accomadation in lamuney and Thansing..so sleeping bag and tent is a must 3. 15k per person is more than enough (but it depends on how you travel, what u eat and where you stay) Guide cost - minimum 1k per day Tent cost - approx 500 per day Cook and porter - ur choice

Good
Ap logo ne yeh trek akele kiye hey . Or ap logo ne guide bhi liye ho
Trek akele karna tha but guide compulsory tha...so hum Yuksum Jake guide arrange kiye
Is it mandatory to take a guide with you on this trek? If yes, what were the charges for the guide?

@@hnyexpedition Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. Planning to go this October, that's if this Pandemic ends 😬
October is good, but if you want to avoid crowd, then plan on/after second week of November.
